Gostamos muito da nossa estadia no Double Tree by Hilton Ploenchit. A equipe é simpática. O quarto é muito grande e bem limpo. O restaurante OPEN oferece uma variedade de comidas deliciosas para os hóspedes; experimentamos vários dias, tanto no café da manhã quanto no jantar. AOM é o funcionário de lá, ele é muito alegre e sincero ao servir os hóspedes, e sua interação calorosa deixa as crianças muito felizes. Por favor, ajudem a mulher migrante e a família de baixa renda comprando o lindo elefante de brinquedo que está à venda na recepção.

Hotel recém-inaugurado em um arranha-céu no bairro de Ramkhamhaeng A equipe é muito simpática e prestativa. O quarto é novo, limpo e espaçoso. As instalações e comodidades são impressionantes, especialmente a piscina com uma vista incrível! Além disso, o hotel oferece serviço de traslado para o Aeroporto. No entanto, uma xícara no meu quarto estava um pouco suja e o ar-condicionado fazia muito barulho e parava de funcionar durante a noite (acho que era por causa da temperatura ambiente muito mais alta do que a externa).

it was an AWESOME STAY but location is a little hard to find at first. overall place was clean and people were friendly! toilet was CLEAAAAN. there is also a communal hairdryer it works pretty well. at night there is a fish auction i think. therefore, walking to 711 at 3am is pretty safe. personally as there is more people there late at night i feel it is safer. it is located beside the fish market so if you're sensitive to smells it might not be suited for you. there is also an ATM nearby. The BTS and pier is also near the hostel therefore transportation is prettty solid. lots of common areas to do your work! rooms are pretty soundproof as well! i did NOT encounter much mosquitos surprisingly! i had a mosquito bite like 5 times throughout my stay. i did not wear insect repellent at all! able to put your own food in the common fridge. shoe locker is also provided! there is also a locker to put all your stuff. there is luggage space but it is in the common area and the door is easily accessible. please do buy a lock for your luggage bedding is GOOD, mattress is GOOD, pillow can get uncomfortable though, not much neck support. a really good seafood buffet located beside the hostel! overall, i would DEFINITELY COME BACK! loved my stay there. if you're not bothered by fish smells this is probably the place for you!

We saved this hotel until last – slightly fancier than the other 3 in our time in Thailand – as a little final night trip, and unfortunately, it was the most disappointing of the lot. The price, by global standards, might not be eye-watering. But by Thailand prices, it was certainly higher end, at over 800rmb per night with a ~450 (2000bht) deposit upon arrival. It did not meet those standards, I'm afraid to say. First things first, it should be said that it is fairly easy to get to on the MTR system, just a very short walk from Hwai Khwang, though it should be pointed out that when using Trip to find the location of Google Maps, I was given the wrong spot (further down the road, so actually a nice surprise to see it was closer, and I wont hold this against the hotel as it is likely nothing to do with them.) Serve at check-in was good, bags carried up the stairs for us and taken to the room with the porter stood waiting as we arrived. Check-in staff were as friendly as one would expect at a Marriott-run hotel of this quality, & though I was slightly surprised by the price of the deposit it was ultimately fine. We had booked a deluxe room with a double bed, and were told that since there was none available (?), we'd be upgraded to a Premier. Looking at the app since, I'm struggling to see where they differ. The decor in the Premier is perhaps a bit more modern, but they are the same size with the same bathroom (more on that later), and the lower price-point is on a much higher floor (ergo better view, I'd assume). In truth, had I paid for a Premier & been greeted with our room, I'd have been even more disappointed. The room was fine, but I'm not sure much more than that. A decent size, though by no means surprisingly big. It was at least quite airy, and the bed pretty comfortable, though seriously lacking in plug sockets. I find it rare to see a hotel these days without plug sockets on both sides of the bed, especially a hotel at this price point. It meant that only one phone could be charged nearby, the other on the table on the other side of the room. The bathroom, though, was really, really disappointing (& that's putting it lightly). The bathtub might have been a nice touch, had it not quite clearly had dried on blood stains in it. I've never experienced this in any hotel I've ever stayed at, no matter how cheap. Let alone at one double the price of anywhere else we stayed in Bangkok and Thailand! The sink, too, was clearly scratched up dirty, with two clear globs of dried on mucus. No face washing in there for us. Fortunate perhaps, given the number of towels provided too was pretty light. The bin in the bathroom also came with no bin bag. I'd hope that the inside is therefore cleaned regularly, but given what we'd seen before, I wasn't filled with hope. Elswhere, breakfast was generally of expected quality. Nothing to write home about per se, but a very nice dining area and good service in fairness. The coffee was decent, though again by no means hugely memorable. The swimming pool is a highlight, offering great views across the city (indeed, the view from our room was quite nice too – though can't help thinking it would be better from a higher floor, like in the cheaper rooms!), with ample comfy beds and free towels. It might be a bit small in peak season, but there were only 3 other groups sharing with us, so plenty of space for a swim. We also enjoyed the massage (850bht). The price was not included in the room fee, but I thought 850 seemed a decent price for the quality and the convenience. Each of these things could be the most memorable part of the trip, were we not greeted by the dirtiest bathroom I've ever experienced in a hotel. & that's a real pity, because it was so avoidable too! Especially from a Marriott hotel, I'd really expect better.

Fiquei em um quarto duplo deluxe com duas camas de solteiro e uma bela vista para o rio. No geral, a experiência foi excelente, embora houvesse alguns aspectos do quarto e das instalações que poderiam ser melhorados: - Layout do banheiro: A pia fica fora do banheiro, no corredor do quarto. Para maior comodidade e privacidade, seria melhor se a pia fosse integrada ao próprio banheiro. - Preocupações com a privacidade dos colegas de quarto: O banheiro tem uma parede de vidro com persiana, mas a persiana não cobria totalmente um dos lados, deixando um pequeno vão que poderia comprometer a privacidade — embora pessoalmente não estivéssemos preocupados. Uma persiana maior ou com melhor ajuste seria útil. - Ar-condicionado no quarto: A unidade era um pouco barulhenta e poderia ser mais silenciosa para uma estadia mais confortável. - Design das janelas: O grande painel da janela é fixo e, embora haja uma seção menor que teoricamente poderia ser aberta, ela estava trancada por motivos de segurança. Permitir que os hóspedes a abrissem um pouco para respirar ar fresco seria o ideal. - Isolamento acústico: O barulho noturno da área da piscina e dos barcos de festa que navegavam pelo rio era audível. Felizmente, a piscina fecha à noite e os barcos param de navegar por volta das 22h, então o silêncio era grande depois. Um isolamento acústico melhor nas janelas aumentaria o conforto. - Ventilação do banheiro: O exaustor era bastante fraco e não eliminava os odores com eficácia. - Ar-condicionado nas áreas comuns: Os espaços públicos, como o saguão e os restaurantes, eram um pouco frios demais — precisei usar mangas compridas dentro de casa. Mesmo assim, isso é preferível a passar calor. - Painel eletrônico de controle de iluminação: Os controles de iluminação do quarto eram um tanto confusos e pouco intuitivos. Um design mais simples e intuitivo seria apreciado. Dito isso, todo o resto foi realmente de primeira qualidade: - Localização: O hotel fica próximo às áreas centrais mais movimentadas de Bangkok, o que pode não ser atraente para quem busca mais ”agitação”. No entanto, é perfeito para viajantes que buscam um ambiente mais calmo e tranquilo à beira do rio. A vista do rio à noite é deslumbrante e o Asiatique fica a uma curta distância a pé, facilitando passeios noturnos, restaurantes e compras. - Aparência do hotel: A propriedade em si é deslumbrante — elegante, moderna e lindamente projetada. - Equipe: O concierge, a recepção, os garçons e outros funcionários foram excepcionais — calorosos, prestativos e profissionais. - Bebidas e petiscos de boas-vindas: Um toque atencioso e muito apreciado na chegada. - Opções gastronômicas: Experimentamos o restaurante à la carte, que oferecia comida de alta qualidade com uma grande variedade de opções deliciosas, incluindo autêntica culinária tailandesa e internacional. Não experimentamos o buffet nem os restaurantes chineses (mais caros). - Buffet de café da manhã: Absolutamente incrível, com uma variedade incrível de pratos locais e internacionais, incluindo culinária japonesa, coreana, indiana e ocidental, além de deliciosas opções de padaria (ocidental e asiática), uma estação de queijos, frutas frescas e até sorvete! A variedade era soberba. O café da manhã começa às 6h, o que é muito conveniente para quem sai cedo dos passeios. - Café/bar: Eles têm um café/bar onde você pode comprar bolos e doces, com descontos para viagem após as 18h. - Balcão de turismo: Convenientemente localizado ao lado da recepção, o balcão de turismo prestou um serviço excelente. A comunicação foi clara e rápida, e eles organizaram todos os nossos passeios sem problemas, tornando o processo completamente tranquilo. - Entretenimento noturno: pianista e cantor - Comodidades adicionais: Wi-Fi gratuito, serviço de tuk tuk gratuito para o Asiatique (apenas para o Asiatique e não de volta para o hotel, mas fica a uma curta distância), academia e piscina foram todos ótimos extras. No geral, foi uma estadia fantástica em um hotel verdadeiramente lindo. Com apenas algumas pequenas melhorias, poderia facilmente ser perfeito.

Bangkok was the last stop on our trip to Thailand and we booked this hotel as a treat to end our trip given it's 5 star status. We were left very disappointed... The lobby is lovely and is indicative of a high end hotel but that's where it ended unfortunately. The rooms are 3 star at best. We had booked a room with a balcony specifically but the initial room we were given didn't have one. The staff were very helpful and moved us to another room with a balcony, however the balcony was surrounded by fans so we had limited views. We were offered another room on our second day with a better balcony but the room itself was smaller so we opted to stay where we were. From what we could see, none of the balconies are great so I would avoid paying the extra for rooms with them. The pool is cold and in need of some work, the grout is coming away in many areas creating sharp edges in spots. Also not 5 star quality. Breakfast was the nicest setup and offering we had seen in Thailand.

Este hotel tem uma localização excelente no coração de Sukhumvit, em Bangkok. Fica na Soi 22, ao lado do ótimo shopping Emsphere. O Emsphere oferece dois andares de restaurantes tailandeses com culinária local de alto nível (nível Michelin). É muito fácil encontrar boa comida nesta área. Adorei o café da manhã do hotel, que eu costumava saborear logo após uma sessão de ginástica matinal, bem ao lado do restaurante. O quarto era impecável e limpo. Com certeza será minha escolha de hotel quando eu voltar a Bangkok.

We stayed at the hotel with the whole family: 2 adults and two children, and we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is very important to us, and here it was really good: there's an egg station, yogurts, fresh greens and vegetables, waffles, pancakes, lots of pastries and desserts. I missed a bit of variety in the tea selection, and the coffee quality could be improved, but in all other aspects, the breakfast was varied, fresh, and tasty. The soundproofing in the rooms I would rate 7/10; you can slightly hear what's happening in the hallway, but it doesn't disturb sleep. We also liked the spa, although the sauna in the women's changing room was turned off, and unfortunately, there was no one at the spa reception for 2 hours to ask to turn it on. The pool is cool, but since it was 33 degrees outside, it was pleasant to swim in. The hotel has a large, secure parking lot where we left our car for the entire stay. Transport accessibility is very good. They have installed new elevators, so there are no issues with them now. We happened to be there for Chinese New Year and saw a performance that took place in the lobby on the first floor. We really liked it and would be happy to return here again.

O hotel é bom e agradável, mas a localização está longe de ser bts, mas durante todo o caminho pegamos, ainda assim conveniente, será mais difícil para alguém que queira pegar bts. Como o inglês não é a primeira língua, ainda não gosto da maneira como a recepcionista lida com nossas preocupações, só precisamos pagar 1000 thb por outra pessoa. Não estamos nos esquivando do erro. ela sempre faz careta e consegue ver pelas sobrancelhas que ela não entende. Eu odiei isso e falo tailandês fluentemente com seus colegas e fico irritado novamente. eles nos mostram o quarto que reservamos e concordamos em ocupar. Ela mostra sua preocupação de que 2 camas de solteiro não são suficientes para três pessoas, mas eu insisto que é o suficiente, então ela manda cobertores e travesseiros para ficarmos confortáveis. Mesmo que no começo ela não entenda e faça caretas, talvez ela não seja fluente, mas deveria evitar isso da próxima vez.

Minha avaliação do hotel Reservei um quarto Superior, mas quando solicitei um andar mais alto, a equipe lidou com a situação de forma muito profissional. Como não havia quartos superiores disponíveis nos andares superiores, me ofereceram um upgrade para um quarto Deluxe — um gesto muito gentil! 😲👏 No geral, o serviço foi satisfatório e a equipe foi simpática e atenciosa durante toda a minha estadia. O quarto em si era confortável, silencioso e tinha boas instalações. No entanto, a limpeza do banheiro me decepcionou bastante — cheguei a ver baratas lá dentro 😵😵💫. A área da varanda escondida também parecia mal conservada (você pode ver na minha foto). Fora isso, o hotel ofereceu uma estadia agradável, com boa localização, check-in e check-out tranquilos e ótimo atendimento. Eu o recomendaria para estadias curtas — mas eles definitivamente precisam melhorar a higiene dos banheiros. Mas minha experiência está detalhada aqui: 1. Experiência de check-in – 9,5/10 2.
