I have to express my sincere gratitude to Ms Hatsumi from the hotel. Thanks to her help, I had a wonderful trip to Rokkōsan. She is definitely a polite, professional, and of course pretty lady. Her communication skills are good especially that she speaks fluent English which would be of great help for someone like me who don't speak any japanese. Although the original local tour was full of bookings , she helped me reserve a taxi and solve my ease of communicating with local taxi drivers. The view and environment is splendid with a great hotel service teams. I would highly recommend to someone who wants to experience a unique accommodation experience. Though the drawbacks , as you might know already , is 1) no private bathroom 2) not sound-proof building materials , but it is understandable given that the hotel is with ancient history

Our stay in this hotel was great! I wish we stayed here longer than one evening. Our traditional Japanese room was very spacious and had two separate toilet rooms attached as well as a bathroom. The view from our room was amazing! And sitting area before the huge windows even had a massage chair and a vanity. The shoji doors showed some signs of wear but everything were very clean. Our kaiseki dinner was spectacular and incredibly tasty. But I wish there were some instructions for foreigners how to enjoy it properly. Our server didn't speak English and we didn't speak Japanese so there was a minor misunderstanding but everything was resolved 😅 I'm definitely a fan of such kind of a meal now! We visited all the hot springs that are available in this hotel and it's sister hotel across the river. I liked the silver indoor spring in our hotel and gold outdoor spring in sister-hotel the most. Hot springs are closed after 24:00. And open from 6:00 to 9:00 nest morning. Unfortunately they are closed from 9:00 to 12:00(check out time) which make it impossible to enjoy them in the morning for those who prefer to sleep in(( Would definitely reccommend the stay for relaxing and luxurious experience.

O hotel está perto da Estação de Trem de Sannomiya e há supermercados, Daiso, restaurantes e um centro de bowling à porta.Perfeito para famílias. A sala é Muito grande e TEM Quatro camas.Abrir três sacos de bagagem e andar por aí.Adoro o secador de cabelo fornecido Na sala!

Quite a nice hotel. Accessible to places via walking. The room is clean and comfortable. Daily changing of towels and bath robes is provided (may not be that environmental friendly). It will be good to provide a few hangers 😊 Otherwise, it's been a pleasant stay in the hotel.

Este hotel está perto Da estação de rodas para o jardim de ervas.Há um supermercado, estação de comboio e ¥100 loja no mesmo edifício.Há 7-11 lá fora (nível 1).O estacionamento está disponível no 8o andar para o cliente do hotel a cargo ¥1500 por noite. O pequeno-almoço é fantástico - a sua curry, omeleta e smoothie são SUAS especialidades.Recomenda-se que você fique no hotel.

Great location, a short walk to central Kobe. Front desk service is great. Parking is only free for cars with low height. Can be slightly noisy since it's next to the railway, but a non-issue in general.

Not sure what has happened to Japan standard in the past couple of years but had called the hotel to confirm that linens are scent free (standard in Japan before) and was told yes. Unfortunately they are not, this new laundry detergent that is slowly spreading throughout Japan is absolutely horrible causing all sorts of allergic reactions (not only to me.) I start having rashes, compromised breathing, and inflammation issues. If it’s the same detergent used back in America, then it might be eco-friendly, but definitely not human friendly. I truly hope that Japan goes back to the way it was before the introduction of some western products filled with harmful chemicals to humans. It is not because you don’t react to it that it is not harming your body, it’s only a question of time and when it does, you won’t know why and there is no turning back. Take it from an Asian American born who was the biggest fan of American marketed products. We do have good products like ECOLAB, which is both, sustainable for the environment without compromising human health. Maybe laundry company should look into that company or simply return to Japanese products before. Good thing thing their pyjama are still scent free so I had to wrap the bed and cover with their pyjama to get through the night.

Hotel service was good. Dinner and breakfast was provided as part of the stay. Food was good for the stay since there are not much options for food at Arima. Most shops are closed by afternoon. Though the hotel is old but it’s renovated (except for the old wooden cupboard) which made the stay more pleasant. Onsen is indoor and small so will need to go at hours with lesser people.

Fica a cerca de cinco minutos de caminhada da Estação Xinkaidi. As comodidades do quarto são relativamente novas, com uma grande TV colorida Sony, luzes do quarto com controle remoto e um banheiro seco e molhado separados, todos eles destaques. Produtos de higiene pessoal devem ser retirados no saguão, e travesseiros podem ser selecionados no saguão (eles já estão no quarto). Mas o quarto é muito pequeno e, quando a mala está aberta, não há espaço para se virar. O piso da área seca do banheiro ficará escorregadio se você acidentalmente deixar cair água nele, então tome cuidado. Talvez porque haja muitos estrangeiros em Kobe, há pratos japoneses e ocidentais para escolher no café da manhã, e a carne cozida é realmente deliciosa. Os quartos perto do elevador permitem ouvir o som dele subindo e descendo no meio da noite. Às vezes é difícil conseguir pegar o elevador e ele não chega mesmo depois de esperar muito tempo (principalmente porque não tem indicador de andar, o que deixa a gente muito ansioso). Custa cerca de 100 ienes para ir a Sannomiya, o que não é ruim. É um bom lugar para descansar.
