Very nice hostel, great owner and staff, kind and very helpful. Have the cheapest and best tour for mount bromo and waterfalls in town. Powerful AC in the rooms, clean and nice hot showers. Washing machine and chill spot on the roof. I highly recommend staying at least 2 nights. Great free tour we got of the local chinese temple. Locatio close to the color villages. Had a very good time there. Nice night market in front of the place. Photo of the rooftop view.

For 2 nd time stay at Shalimar hotel satisfied and recommended  Add more time for late check out not only 15 minutes :(

The location is just off the main street running through Malang, makes the hotel less affected by traffic noise. One of the minor drawbacks of this hotel is the lobby drop off area and minimal availability of parking onsite. The friendliness and helpful customer service can be felt as you step into the hotel, from the security to the receptionist and workers all radiating warm smiles. Our check in process was smooth, we were assisted to find an available room for early check-in before 1pm . The restaurant staff was also attentive and courteous. The hotel felt relatively new, only a couple years old and in great shape. The bedroom had semi firm but comfortable mattrass, with abundant pillows. Delightfully we got a 55” LG Smart Tv, with the to-date streaming services available (Netflix, Disney, Prime, Vidio, Youtube) and also cable tv showing international channels (AXN, Japanese, Arabic, etc). The room felt very cosy for resting after a long day's work or travel. The bathroom, although only had showers and no bathtub, gave great water pressure and hot water. The only complaint from the hotel is perhaps due to the connecting door, we can hear the other room's door closing and opening loudly as well as some talking from the other room. Hotel had an interesting gym for good workout, rooftop cafe/restaurant. Didnt try any of those facilities for this trip but hopefully for my next trip. This is my second stay at 101 and look forward to returning again. Also, right across the hotel is a Sara Bakery, which serves good cakes and bakery products, and has a full restaurant menu also.

No geral é bom, mas a recepção é muito lenta... diferente de Santika em Jogya... lá a equipe é muito prestativa... nos disseram para esperar, mas nos ofereceram bebidas e depois que o quarto estava pronto, eles nos disseram que o quarto estava pronto para ser ocupado... muito prestativos... *****tara em Santika Malang... a equipe é meneng Bae... só disseram para esperar, senhora, o quarto não está pronto... é isso, não há mais nada... e mesmo depois de estar pronto, meneng Bae... se não perguntarmos, talvez eles nos deixem até a tarde... hadeeuuhh... depois de uma longa viagem... essa é toda a saudação.

Esta foi a primeira vez que levei meu bebê em uma viagem de carro e escolhemos o Grand Mercure Malang com base em sua sólida reputação e avaliações positivas. Fico feliz em dizer que a experiência correspondeu às expectativas. O quarto em que ficamos estava limpo e oferecia uma vista espetacular para as montanhas. Ao chegarmos, fomos inicialmente alocados em um quarto que ainda estava sendo limpo, mas a equipe do hotel percebeu o erro rapidamente e o corrigiu prontamente. Também solicitamos um berço, que foi entregue logo em seguida sem problemas. O banheiro estava bem abastecido com kits de amenidades e havia muitos cabides disponíveis. A pressão do chuveiro era forte e muito confortável. Utilizei a academia e a piscina durante a nossa estadia. A academia estava bem equipada, com um suporte para agachamento, um conjunto completo de halteres, um aparelho de cabos e dois bancos. A piscina estava agradavelmente aquecida, o que tornou a experiência agradável. O café da manhã estava incluso no quarto e havia uma grande variedade de opções de comida disponíveis. O serviço foi gentil e respeitoso durante todo o período. Eu diria que o barista do balcão de café poderia se beneficiar de mais treinamento para aprimorar suas habilidades de preparo de cappuccino, mas ainda assim foi aceitável. Com certeza voltarei a este hotel em futuras estadias. Também incluí algumas fotos para ajudar outras pessoas que estejam considerando reservar aqui. We stayed for one night. The room is clean. The hotel is good with a delicious breakfast.The hot water is functioning well. The surroundings are quiet.

I love the staffs, friendly and helpfull . They even prepared our early breakfast because we had to leave at 00.30 for Bromo tour , very nice service, perfect location

The bedsheet l, blanket and pillow cover have stains, They only have liquid soup and toothbrush set as amenities. Room is normal but comfortable. We love the location just all walking distance so convenient stores.

They have variety of food for the breakfast which is great. However, the cafe of the hotel (Napa Eatery & Bar), was not as great. Food took 30mins to serve when my family is the only one there for dinner. The taste of the food was not really on par with the reviews that I've seen. The hotel services is not as great. They reassured us that they will provide the things that are not in the room (example: iron for ironing clothes), but, we did not receive it.
