"The hotel is located in a small town. We came here based on a recommendation from a friend who was also on a road trip. The temperature difference between morning and evening is quite significant here; you'll see people in down jackets in the morning and T-shirts at noon. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and enthusiastic, recommending many local specialties and even suggesting some travel itineraries. Unfortunately, our timing wasn't great – the flower fields weren't in bloom yet. It would be perfect to visit about a month later. This place is definitely suitable for a winter stay."

"衞生還行，設施一般，該有的都有，就是比較舊了。總體是新農村的感覺，村裡有養牛不可避免地會聞到牛屎味。
值得一提的是風景真的很好，這裡是離高黎貢山最近的村莊，老闆家出門就有一個觀景平台，拍遠處的山和雲很方便，特別出片。
老闆很熱情，缺什麼有什麼事兒都可以問老闆，吃飯都是在老闆家裡吃的，可以點菜，價格也很合適的。下山的車也是老闆幫忙叫的拼車。
老闆家自己做的芒果乾很值得一嘗，我吃着好吃，買了一堆寄給親朋好友。"

CChuen BuanA super amazing and cosy hotel located on the middle of the mountain. There are many highlights during our stay. The rooms are very clean and facilities are sufficient.
The breakfast is another highlight. So sumptuous and organic and healthy but yet very tasty. The chef are really skillful and able to whip out many different dishes. All look and taste so good.
The view in this hotel is unbeatable. We were there in Dec and the sunset view is very beautiful.
Another key highlight is the people managing the hotel. It’s a family owned hotel and everyone is so friendly and loving. Always so helpful. Many time we were just outside the deck to admire the sunset and it’s getting cold, suddenly someone will come to us with hot tea, fruits and snacks.

GGuest UserOur trip to Heshun Ancient Town was made truly special by choosing 'Luobai'.
As the name suggests, the guesthouse exudes a sense of simple elegance and tranquil comfort. What surprised me most was the room itself, which far exceeded my expectations for ancient town guesthouses. I later learned from the owner that he personally designed and oversaw the construction of this house, which explains why you can feel the meticulous thought and ingenuity in every corner. It's not a run-of-the-mill, standardized decor, but a space filled with warmth and character.
The guesthouse's ground floor houses the owner's own coffee shop. Every morning, without even leaving the building, you can smell the aroma of coffee wafting up from downstairs. Sitting by the window, sipping a pour-over, watching the bluestone paths and passersby of the ancient town – that feeling of ease was truly the most precious moment of our journey.
Speaking of the owner, he's a very talkative and interesting person. You can tell he's someone who genuinely loves travel and pursuing a free spirit. Chatting with him, you'll hear many fascinating anecdotes from his travels. He'll also enthusiastically recommend many hidden gems and authentic local snacks in the ancient town that you won't find on any map, helping us avoid the crowds and gain more unique experiences. His relaxed demeanor and passion for life deeply inspired us.
If you're also tired of commercialized hotels and are looking for a place with a story and warmth, a place to slow down and experience ancient town life, then 'Luobai' is definitely your best choice. It's not just a place to sleep; it feels more like a home away from home.

SSWEE KIM ONGWe are very happy to book and stay at Yunman Shanting homestay. This will be our first choice if we want to stay at Heshun Ancient Town.
The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast consists mainly Chinese food like noddles soup, mantou etc. The homestay provides grilled tea, fruits and walnuts for guests in the night. It was a good experience as various guests gathered around the charcoal grill for chit chat while the staff grilled the tea and fruits. Complimentary tea and coffee was provided in the nicely decorated tea and coffee room. There is a rooftop garden and terrace where guests can view the sunset and take nice photos.
The location is good and convenient as cars can drive to the doorstep and park at the homestay.

UUsuário convidadoThe pick up service was-very good. The driver Xiao Mao was very friendly to give me a lot of information about the city on the way to the hotel. All the staffs at the front desk were very helpful too.I liked very much the breakfast but it was a-pity that the hotel did not serve dinner.lt caused me problem to search restaurant for food especially during raining nights. As the road in front the hotel was under construction, it made me to walk in the muddy path. I loved and appreciated the good services provided by the hotel, and the sweet fungi soup served at about 8:30pm every night was really enjoyable. As l am 80 years old now, l may not have chance to visit again but l will surely recommend the hotel to my friends if they come to Tengchong next time.

JjiangtonyEsta vez, tive sorte de escolher o Povo SEM libertação, Muito perto do Centro Da Cidade Antiga, o relógio de Tiro e o silêncio, sair Da Cidade Antiga de Huang ou coisas tardias à noite, é Muito conveniente.O Projeto do Povo é Muito bom, há um Grande Centro de Corte, e todos OS pedaços são bons. O Grau de pureza do Povo realmente deve ser recompensado. Uma garrafa incolor, IR para a cozinha com o propósito, é também super limpa.Há um Jardim Muito projetado, com um Gato chamado Mia, que é super-caravanho, vê as pessoas, não parar de se apertar, e pedir um círculo de pele. Tem que elogiar o pequeno-almoço de SUA família. O arroz do pequeno-almoço é realmente super delicioso. A proximidade é Muito boa.

I sent emails to Nuangui via trip.com on 24 Nov and 30 Nov to arrange for complimentary pick up. I got no reply to my 2 emails.
I telephoned Nuangui via trip.com on 1 Dec before flying out to TengChong, a lady answered the phone, she insisted she didn't receive my 2 emails, but promised to arrange pick up.
When we arrived in TengChong we were picked up and dropped off at the entrance of HeShun and given a gps map sharing location and told to find our own way to the minsu after eating because their staff/boss refused to meet and greet us at the HeShun entrance. At the time it was around 9.30pm.
Despite the gps map sharing, we spent a long time walking around dark, narrow, quiet streets of HeShun looking for something to eat and then later the minsu location. In the end we couldn't find the minsu. There was no one around to ask for durections and it was quite dark and very cold. By around 11.15pm we finally gave up looking and called the minsu to come and find us and take us to the minsu. They only answered after a few minutes of calling. It was lucky we insisted on calling, we would never have found the minsu by ourselves.
The minsu itself was great, comfortable and clean. The location is convenient (when u know where it is and how to get there).
The minsu staff took our luggage all the way, from the airport to the minsu, which was very helpful, I wouldn't have made it to the minsu if I had to carry my own luggage because a lot of the HsShun streets are uneven, uphill and many steps.
The only hic up was the bath, originally we thought it wasn't working because there was no hot water coming out from the hot water tap. After 3 nights of stay, we later found out that the taps were installed incorrectly, C water tap meant hot water and the other way round.
Also, even though staying in minsu in HeShun, you still have to pay entrance tickets, that wasn't pointed out on the minsu details.

There is butler service that we availed. Service was excellent. Managed by young people who are attentive to our needs.
We booked a 2 bedroom French-inspired suite. Impressed with the interior and the room design. Loved the heated floors at night. There is a beautiful electric fire place inside the room. The living room is very inviting and generous. There is a private bath per room with private hot spring connected to the tub. Bed and linens were comfortable. Breakfast was alacarte but sufficient and delicious. Offering local healthy produce and food. They also offer Spa services which we didn’t have the time to avail.

UUsuário convidadoWe are a group of 12 Malaysian who spent 5 days 4 Nights at Tengchong. The lady boss - 素素 is very nice and friendly. The hotel provided airport transfer and was picked up by the lady boss personally. Rooms are big and with all amenities. Location of the hotel is also quite convenient. Nearby a lot of local restaurants. Right opposite the hotel is the bus station where we could book or charter bus to travel back to KunMing. Front desk staffs were very friendly and helpfully. Breakfast is delicious. The hotel could arrange for our local tour to TengChong and 芒市 tour at a very reasonable package tour.

UUsuário convidado本來訂的是另外一個院子，老闆給升級成了荷畔大床房，視野不錯，如果是荷花開的季節肯定更好看。樓下就是咖啡店，裝修很有格調。交通相對古鎮裏面的民宿來説比較方便，在古鎮的西邊，汽車可以直接到，衹是離古城中間相對來説遠一點。木質結構的房子隔音不是很好，樓下有條小路會有車過，稍微有點吵。店家服務很棒，還到遊客中心來接。晚上回來在樓下壁爐烤火，喝着紅茶很愜意。早餐也不錯。強烈推薦！
