Hotéis Hot Springs em Mimaropa, Philippines

I booked a room with a balcony on Trip.com, but the room I was shown was a single window room with no balcony. The staff explained that there were various types of rooms available. I wasn't satisfied, so I spoke to them and they changed my room to one with a balcony, although it took some time. The staff were very friendly.

Upon arrival, we found out that the Ricardo Hotel was fully booked, so we had to stay in a half-empty building next door. Overall, the room wasn't bad. It had a balcony and hot water. However, there was no shower kit provided. The room description mentioned a hairdryer, but there wasn't one at all. The sink drained very slowly! On our last day, there was no water in the toilet. Tom, a staff member, was very helpful and tried his best to assist us with everything we asked for. Big thanks to him 🙏. And that rooster crowing at midnight – that's a special kind of crazy! 😂 I think he's ready for the soup pot! 🙈 The hotel's location isn't ideal, but there's a 24-hour McDonald's nearby. Getting from the hotel to the town center and the pier (where boats depart for tours) costs 50-60 Philippine pesos for two people on a tricycle. The hotel staff booked a tricycle transfer for us to the pier in the morning, for our boat to El Nido. However, the driver quoted an excessively high price, comparable to what we paid for a minivan from the airport. Considering it's not a long ride at all, it was quite unpleasant. All in all, it's livable, especially considering the cost. We booked our stay not long before check-in, so we didn't have many other options.

It's a good location, 10 minutes from downtown Coron, and there's a swimming pool and breakfast included. The rooftop restaurant with a view of downtown Coron is also good. The room and bathroom are a bit small, but the air conditioning works well and the internet works well. Good value for money Next time I come, I think I will come again to a budget hotel. I'm having a good time.

The view from the window overlooking the bay is breathtaking—definitely avoid rooms with a different view! The staff is fantastic, especially the reception team: incredibly friendly, always ready to help, and full of great recommendations for restaurants and activities. Big thanks to them for that! The restaurant service is good, but the food was underwhelming—breakfasts were quite basic. Only a few dishes on the menu were tasty; the rest need improvement. They should really revamp their offerings. The rooms are spotless, and housekeeping does an excellent job. The pool looks beautiful and well-maintained, but there’s an issue with unpleasant odors from the port, which sometimes makes swimming less appealing. The gym is poorly equipped—it could use more machines or at least an Olympic bar.

It is cheap. But cool. I liked it. There is no hot water. Just the very very basic amenities. But I liked my stay. It was chill. And the staff to be honest I didn't even see them hhh I talked with them when I checked in once and that's it. When checking out I left the key at desk. If you're broke and don't care that much. It'll be fine

Beautiful resort very far from everything (90 minute ride from airport). Welcoming at this resort was unlike any other in the world. Just amazing staff. Room was what you’d expect in a motel not a resort. The bathroom could fit one person at a time. They do have some newer rooms that probably are much nicer. Driver took us on a trip to local waterfalls which was perfect. If you want to relax and be surrounded by amazing staff this resort is perfect.
