It Is electronic so be sure to pay at Port of Hood River.The home is 3 bedroom 2 bath home. Downstairs has a kitchen, living room, master bed with a queen mattress, and a detached master bathroom with a shower and bathtub that is stocked with towels, toilet paper, and body/shampoo/conditioner soap.Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and another bedroom with 2 twin beds. They are fully supplied with blankets and pillows. Each bedroom in the house has large closets that have extra blankets and pillows. There is a guest bathroom upstairs with a walk-in shower and is stocked with towels, toilet paper, and body/shampoo soap.Kitchen: there is a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm. Plenty of dishes, pots, and pans, serving utensils, microwave, electric stove, spices, big fridge and freezer, and coffee maker. There is a dining area that seats up to 6 as well as a smaller breakfast table to seat 4 in the kitchen.There is a guest unit next door. They have a separate private entrance and no space is shared with them. It is unlikely that you will hear or cross paths with them. The house is soundproofed between units, however, we do ask that you do not yell or play loud music. Please keep the downstairs bathroom door closed to minimize any potential noise. If you have a loud group or children running around in the evening in the living room please close the bedroom and bathroom doors downstairs.Laundry Room: *PLEASE NOTE* The laundry room is a shared space between myself, you, and my very trusted housekeeper who cleans the small unit next door. There are two entrances to the laundry room. There is an outdoor entrance into the laundry room which she will be entering through. There is another door with a keypad in the laundry room that enters directly into the kitchen. You are more than welcome to use the laundry room whenever you like but please always close the door behind you so you are not alarmed if my housekeeper comes into the laundry room. She will not enter your space as your door will be closed.For your peace of mind, there is a keyless entry pad to all doors, the front door, the side door, and the door inside the laundry room opening into the kitchen. The doors will automatically lock on the keyless entry pads. If the door does not automatically lock when you leave the house turn the small knob above the interior door knob and it will switch back to automatic.We welcome dogs, please let me know before your stay. There is a cleaning fee of $100 per dog. This fee covers shedding, pet smell, and extra dirt traction throughout the house. This does not cover pee on carpet, soft waste on carpet, or ruined furniture.Guest access:Please enter through the black front door.*Do not park in front of the neighbor's home directly to the left when facing the house. Our house is close enough to enjoy all the activities in the Gorge, but far enough in the country for a peaceful get away. The house is cozy enough for 2, and spacious enough for a group. Just 6 miles from Hood River, OR, it's perfect for couples, families, or wedding guests. An open floor plan makes the house seem larger than 1700 square feet. Windows and light surround the great room, providing views of orchard, wooded hills and mountain. The kitchen provides everything needed for meals, including staples for baking, spices, condiments, and sundries. Both bedrooms have new comfortable king beds with all new cotton bedding, down comforters and pillows. Two oversize couches in the great room easily convert to twin beds. A luxurious master bath includes a cast iron soaking tub, walk in shower, sauna, and heated tile floor. The guest bath has a walk in shower. All 3 bathrooms have hairdryers and straitners, as well as extra supplies.. The porch wraps around the house, with plenty of furniture for relaxing outside or gathering with friends. The patio includes a BBQ, propane fire pit, and Internet are provided. The 2 smart TV's are hooked up to Roku. A private 500 square ft. apartment above the garage is included as part of the vacation rental. Just to be clear, the apartment is always rented with the house for the same price, if you don't need the apartment, it remains empty. The apartment has a queen bed and two twins, a full bath with tub shower combo, a mini kitchen, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. A portable crib and high chair are available. Our guest closset holds games and books, as well as a few toys and coloring books. Parking is ample, and there is space in the garage for bikes and gear if needed.
