"We loved staying here, the African gentleman from guest services was exceptional and very professional and assisted us with all our requests, the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was also wonderful as expected. We celebrated our anniversary here and they made our stay truly memorable."

"When I continued to make extension at the hotel at seven in the morning, the front desk said that there was no problem. As a result, at 12 noon, we were told that we needed to change rooms urgently, so we hastily put the trunk lid on, and the front desk told us that they would send all the details to the new room completely. I also specially told the front desk that maybe we missed some small items in the room. Because they gave us too much time, please help us check the missing items. They readily agreed.After returning home from the trip, we opened the luggage rack, and all the souvenirs I bought at Sagrada Familia Cathedral disappeared, which was really very sad.The service of the hotel makes people feel very confused, and every staff has no idea about the process."

"Uma conhecida rede de hotéis. Como chegamos à noite, não tínhamos certeza sobre a área ao redor, mas havia um restaurante casual ao lado do hotel e a comida era deliciosa. Embora eu não os tenha usado, é claro que há vários lugares para comer dentro do hotel. Uma coisa que me incomodou foi a temperatura da água do chuveiro. Não houve problema quando tomei banho à noite, mas na manhã seguinte a água estava apenas morna (cerca de 35 graus Celsius). Talvez todo o hotel tenha um limite definido para a quantidade de água quente que pode ser usada em um determinado período de tempo?"

"The facilities looked too old for a 5 star hotel. Even the coffee machine was too dirty so I had to wash it many times b4 I used it. The stains were hard to get off.. Locationwise, Its a little away from the main area. It wasnt too bad. The staffs were nice but next time if I visit Barcelona, I would stay at a hotel close to pl. catalunya where the airport bus stops. It was tiring to carry my luggage all the way to the bus station 🫠"

"A short stay for of 2 days was booked with Triip.com for one adult and 2 children under 10, to join us who were booked in a day earlier for three days. Our three day booking was direct with the hotel, half board. The hotel is marked 'adults recommended' and they sure discourage children, by seeking to charge per occupancy rather than simply on a cost per room. The Trip site quite fairly offered the room at the rate for two adults, with children under 12 free, so this is what was paid. Half board was added but at the rate for two adults, which would be greater than the actual hotel rate for one adult and two children, but I was happy to have reserved restaurant secured. Things got messy at check in, the hotel insisting that the room was occupied by three 'persons' as they put it and should therefore be 50% extra, though the room was the same type as the twin we had for two adults. The Hotel also insisted that only breakfast was provided, and tried to argue that the B2B rate from the third party (Trip) was insufficient. I politely pointed out that the discounts provided to third party agents was no concern of the customer, and referred to my booking voucher which clearly stated I had booked a twin room, into which was going 1 adult, two very small children, and that breakfast and dinner was paid for, with the rate for 1 adult being greater than twice the local charge for a child. They were impossible to deal with, and I left the reception angry and upset. I contacted the Trip representative and by that evening it was sorted. Full marks to Trip, zero to the hotel. As for our stay, the hotel is excellent, but with room to improve. Dinner in the Buffet only commences at 8.00, resulting in quite the bunfight if the restaurant is busy. It was on that Thursday, a national holiday, and it was impossible to order wine and beverages after we seated, with a single service person taking orders. We ate our food dry, and finally placed an order for wine and water while eating dessert, some 40 minutes after seating. The same bottleneck occurred the next morning at breakfast, with the four snail paced Nespresso machines totally incapable of dealing with the coffee demands. Worse, all 4 machines overheated and went into 'service mode'. Worse again, these obviously unsuitable barista machines were the only source of hot water for Tea or infusions, but with no seperate hot water dispenser faucet. You had to stand for almost 2 minutes while the machine slowly dispensed through the coffee outlet, a single mug of hot water, to the frustration of the queue behind. This needs sorting, it took ages to get a breakfast beverage every morning, and on the second day I had to return 4 floors to my room and fill my cup from the in room Nespresso maker. I'd advise to bring a travel kettle with you. Otherwise, a fine hotel, but the restaurant problems and discriminatory pricing for children are an issue, so not a hotel for children."

"We had such a beautiful and memorable stay at Ohla Barcelona! After coming from an 18-hour trip, we truly appreciated the early check-in and the lovely upgrade, it was the perfect welcome and exactly what we needed. The location is absolutely ideal, especially as a pre-cruise stay, and being our first time in Barcelona, Ohla set the tone for our entire trip. The staff were all incredibly nice and friendly, making us feel at home right away. The cava and chocolates waiting in our room were such a sweet and thoughtful touch, but what touched us most was the handwritten note congratulating us on our anniversary, it made the moment even more special. Thank you Iraia and Andrea. Breakfast was also fantastic, with a great selection of delicious options. I have to give a special mention to the mini croissants, they were absolutely divine, melting in your mouth with every bite! We would also like to especially mention Fatima from the restaurant, who went above and beyond to make sure our breakfast experience was perfect. She was so warm, genuinely friendly, and attentive. She even prepared us some really good lattes, which made our mornings even better. Her kindness and hospitality truly stood out! We will absolutely book here again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Ohla Barcelona, for making our first visit to this beautiful city unforgettable!"

"O Hotel fica numa área tranquila de Barcelona, longe do burburinho das áreas turísticas, porém o acesso a todos os locais é bem fácil, pois fica bem perto das estações de metro. O staff é super atencioso, tivemos um problema com barulho em nosso quarto e eles nos disponibilizaram outra habitação, com upgrade. Inclusive nos brindaram em alguns dias com espumante e chocolate no apartamento. A cama super confortável e os lençóis são de excelente qualidade. O café da manhã, pequeno almoço, super completo e muito delicioso. Inclusive com espumante á vontade. O único ponto negativo é que achamos a habitação meio escura, falta uma iluminação melhor na área dos armários. Cabe uma elogio ao Chefe da recepção, o Sr. Juanro, super amável, prestativo e simpático."

"In my opinion, this is one of the best hotels in Barcelona. The staff were very welcoming and kind from the moment we arrived at the hotel. The room was medium-sized but suitable for two people and was convenient in all aspects. However, keep in mind that the hotel is about a 20 to 30-minute walk from the famous La Rambla street and is close to the beach. I highly recommend people to book this hotel, and I’ll definitely stay here again. 👌 Finally, Our flight was delayed until the evening, and the hotel kindly allowed us to use the gym facilities, including showers and changing rooms."

"The hotel rooms are very comfortable and the hotel staff are also very helpful and friendly. It is a short walk to metro station (3 mins) and the main shopping strip (5 mins), and if about 20 mins walk to all major attractions. The location is quite good except there are not many eateries around and will have to walk to the main strip for more choices. There are supermarket everywhere though so sourcing snacks is not a problem."
