Um maravilhoso hotel familiar com um quarto agradável, camas grandes e confortáveis, lençóis brancos e travesseiros macios e confortáveis. A limpeza e a troca de toalhas são diárias, e há duas máquinas de lavar e uma secadora em cada andar. O terreno é espaçoso, com amplo estacionamento e varais no quintal. Há duas piscinas: uma infantil com escorregador e duas para águas mais fundas. Nas proximidades, há um mercado noturno, vários cafés, uma pequena loja e farmácias. O mar fica a 10 minutos a pé. I recently stayed at the Venice Waterworld Hotel in Shijiazhuang and, unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The hotel feels quite outdated and in need of renovation. The rooms were dark and old, with furnishings that seemed worn and tired. One of the biggest issues was the air conditioning—it was old and lacked a proper thermostat, making it difficult to regulate the temperature. Additionally, smoking is permitted throughout the hotel, which was a major downside for me as a non-smoker. The smell of tobacco was pervasive in the hallways and common areas, making the stay less comfortable. Breakfast lacked food for its guests. They were not being topped up according to the people who were in the restaurant. While the location may be convenient for some, the overall condition and policies of the hotel make it a poor choice for travelers who prefer clean, modern, and smoke-free accommodations. If I return to Shijiazhuang, I will definitely look for a different hotel. Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) – Below Average, Needs Improvement

An attractive hotel in a former imperial complex (a library or something like that) offering large, clean rooms. It's up on the side of a hill but taxis/rideshare will take you to the front door. Also it's very close to the town center and is a short ride to the temples that are of interest in Chengde. They have a decent breakfast at the onsite restaurant, and a dinner service featuring local dishes that are supposed to be similar to what an emperor might have eaten. So you can dine like an emperor, for a fee. The large deer roaming the grounds stare at your with the big, sad eyes, obviously looking for a handout, but don't fall for it as there's plenty of grass. There was some construction going on, seems the buildings are being refurbished, but it did not really interfere with our stay. Signs in English and English-speaking staff at the front desk.

The hotel is next to shopping malls and lots of restaurants around. Room - big and clean a Buffet breakfast - served local breakfast as well as breads, enjoyed the Tangshan local noodle Da Lu Mian ( 打卤面）and Chao Xian Mian (朝鲜面). The friendly staff and chef taught me the local way of eating the noodle, taste was great! Special thanks to Snow Wang, as I have problem getting the ticket to Nan Hu Light Festival. She helped me to booked the ticket and I have a great time enjoying the light Festival and the drone performance. Will recommend to my friends and stay here again if I come Tangshan the next round.
