First of all, I booked this hot spring hotel on Saturday and it cost me 33,600 yuan. I thought I could live in a big room, but everything became a mess after two sleeping mats were laid out at dinner time. We couldn't open our luggage because there was no place, and we had to jump to go to the bathroom because there was no way to go. I was really angry. I booked this hotel because it is a LA VISTA group, but the food, both the ingredients and the taste are worth the price. There are also many snacks, water, Yakult, and fresh milk in the lounge after the hot spring, but there is no juice. This is what I find strange. In addition, we often pass by the counter, and the waiters treat you as air. Anyway, the way of this hotel is to come and go. Just now we checked out and put on our shoes, and they turned around when we said byebye, and didn't even come to the door. Am I really expecting too much?

This place is extraordinarily overpriced for what it is. I expected much more amenities and service. Although the staff were friendly and courteous, the place was fairly bland. The onsen was mediocre and there were no refreshments afterwards unless you wanted to go to a vending machine. Even Dormy Inn provides refreshments after the onsen but at Towado Hotel having to pay for them and not even the nice ones is ridiculous when you have to pay so much to stay here. The same for the relaxation chair. It is coin-operated not complementary. I would not recommend staying here if you’re looking for a luxury experience because although you pay for that, it’s definitely nowhere near that. Our Western style room was very basic, and it just didn’t have those special finishing touches I had hoped for. 

My Japanese friends told me once you stay at a Dormy Inn, you'll fall in love with it, and I totally agree. It really excels in value for money: not only does it have excellent hot springs (offering multiple baths, cold plunges, and saunas), which many more expensive onsen hotels don't even provide. The various little services are also very thoughtful (while it's true they don't offer soba noodles or a bottle of Yakult, you'll still be touched by their attentive service). Plus, you can do laundry. If you have tattoos, you can buy some tattoo cover-ups beforehand. Although they're not super strict, there are signs indicating no visible tattoos. The room is small, and the bathroom is tiny, but for a one-night stay, it's perfectly fine. For around 300 yuan, what more could you ask for? Overall, I think it's very convenient and has a lot of character. If you're visiting a new city and don't have a specific hotel in mind, Dormy Inn is a pretty good choice. (It's definitely a significant step up from APA, Toyoko, or Smile hotels).

It's a highly competitive choice in the area, perfect for our self-drive trip with three people. **Room and Environment:** The Japanese tatami room was more than spacious enough for three of us. The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from Lake Towada, making it very convenient for morning or evening strolls. **Signature Robatayaki Dinner:** The dinner was the absolute highlight of our stay. The 'Robatayaki' experience offered at the restaurant was not only theatrical but also featured incredibly fresh ingredients, including scallops, prawns, seasonal vegetables, and the unique mentaiko-stuffed chicken. What truly stood out was the integration of Akita's traditional 'Kiritanpo' rice sticks, grilled with a rich miso sauce, offering an authentic local flavor. A dedicated chef managed the grilling and cooking right in front of us, allowing guests to simply relax and enjoy the delicious food – the service was impeccable. Furthermore, there was a diverse selection of additional ingredients and beverages available for purchase, catering to various tastes. **Onsen Facilities:** The next morning, we experienced the hotel's onsen facilities. The large public bath, separated for men and women, was clean and comfortable, an ideal spot for relaxation. **Transportation and Summary:** The hotel is situated in a tranquil environment. As there are no nearby train stations, a self-drive is highly recommended, and the hotel provides convenient parking for guests. Considering the generous room size, professional dining service, and reasonable prices, this is a hotel with excellent value for money. I highly recommend it to travelers planning an in-depth visit to Lake Towada.

Nice little hotel. Good dinner with buffet breakfast. Additional nice touch is the free to use washing machine and dryer which is great!

I went on a business trip to the countryside and was surprised to find that Ctrip offered such a rural hotel. I stayed there a few years ago; the facilities were a bit outdated, but overall it was still quite good. There was a hot spring, the breakfast was delicious, and you could see snow-capped mountains. The room was also a bit bigger than those in the city. I was satisfied.

Second stay, and as good as ever! There are buses to Shin-Tamagawa Onsen from bus stop number 2 at Tazawako Station. Bus schedules vary in winter, so be sure to check the times! The hotel offers snow activities in winter, which require advance reservations. The hotel has several Chinese-speaking staff, which was very helpful for me as I don't speak English or Japanese. The hotel service was excellent! Breakfast and dinner were also quite good, with relatively healthy meals. The hotel's most unique feature is its acidic hot spring with a pH of 1.13. The hot spring pools are numerous and very clean, making it worth visiting multiple times.

The hotel is close to the main road, which is very convenient for people who drive. The staff is friendly, the room is clean, the breakfast and dinner are delicious, and travelers who like hot springs should not miss it. It is very cost-effective and highly recommended!

A new and clean hotel. It's located behind a roadside station, so you can do some light shopping within the station's operating hours. You have to drive to get to convenience stores and restaurants, but the nearest ones are less than a 5-minute walk away. The fact that you can choose between a high-temperature and low-temperature sauna, and that the saunas are spacious, is a big plus. The parking lot is far away, which is inconvenient when it's raining.

This hotel is located in Ingabao City, Akita Prefecture. I remember walking from Ingabao Station to the hotel for about 15 minutes. It is an old hotel, the atrium is quite big, the room is large and clean, there is a hot spring, but I did not enjoy it, it is a pity. I stayed in mid-August Golden Week, and the price was higher. There is a restaurant inside, breakfast, lunch, dinner are available. I have paid for breakfast buffet, 1,500, there are many types, not bad.
