Nice clean rooms and very very efficient staff. Manager Grazia looked after us after we complained about very noisy neighbours; changed our room and checked in with us. Breakfast is great and the views are gorgeous. Location is great if you like malls but we had a motorbike so could get around to some excellent veggie restaurants as well as the outer fringes of the town. It’s expensive for Indonesia and beware noisy groups staying there.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The service was truly excellent, from the security staff to the reception team and concierge, everyone was kind, professional, and very helpful. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink and were even allowed to check in early, which we really appreciated. The security staff were especially friendly, helping us with our luggage and opening the car door for us. It truly a five-star service. The room was very comfortable, the bed, lighting, and overall ambience were excellent. What I loved most was the strong water pressure in the shower, which made it very comfortable and enjoyable. In terms of location, it’s quite convenient, close to Gaia Mall and the airport.

We have transited through Pontianak a couple of times and stayed here both times. It’s easy to get to the ferry to Sukadana and the Damri bus stop to Singkawang - great veggie restaurants close by and motorbike rental right next door. Very handy. We had a problem with our room and the staff changed our room immediately - very kind and efficient. They also let us leave our bags in their secure office so we could travel a bit lighter. The hotel itself could do with a make over. The reception makes you feel like you’re entering an upper class hotel but then you get to your room and it’s poor. Stained sheets and towels, mouldy shower and damp patches in walls, curtains need changing and washing. Unfortunately it seems to be the norm in the hotels we’ve stayed in in West Kalimantan.

As lojas situadas à frente da entrada e saída do hotel tocam música muito alta até 3.00 a.m. Nós apenas dormimos na primeira noite, MAS mudamos para outra sala que estava diante da piscina na segunda noite e era muito pacífico. Pessoalmente, não gosto de comutadores Na sala.Deverão haver Mais comutadores para controlar a brilho Das quartos e Das casas de banho.Actualmente, a sala é Muito brilhante ou posso acionar duas luzes de parede (muito escuro) + 1 luz de noite. Os interruptores de Foyer e Reading não funcionam. Para o banheiro, um comutador controla todas as luzes no banheiro e ventilador de escape, pelo que é Muito brilhante no banheiro + ventilador de escape sonoro ou escuro total. Gosto de ver Mais comutadores para OS convidados controlar a brilho NAS quartos e casas de banho. No entanto, este é um hotel Muito bonito com pessoal muito amigável.Eu certamente voltarei e ficarei quando voltar para Pontianak.

+ Location is great. Near the city center & surrounded by a lot of cafes, restaurant, supermarket, food places, etc + Room is big. + The breakfast is amazing. I like it - The cleanliness is not too good. The cleaning service must pay more attention about this. Overall, I like staying in this hotel. I will come back again.

The room interior as a whole is beautiful.The retro design of the toilet wall complements the contemporary touch of the living room. Ordered Ayam Bakar (grilled chicken) and it tasted great. Most importantly they have Bloomberg channel on their TV. Good for business-minded travellers.

Bedsheet unclean, not white color but already become grey🙈 Shower floor VERY VERY slippery, it’s dangerous for children or elderly !! Cannot accommodate with customer request

This is a nice hotel but unfortunately it is extremely noisy. There should be signs to say that there are quiet hours. So many other guests were making noise in the corridors at all hours of the day and night. The WiFi is good and the restaurant is handy.

I have fond memories when staying at Aston Hotels as the service staff are always polite & smiling. Always going out of their way to please. However, I observed that the premises are normally on the older properties, albeit they try their best to keep clean & that the hot/water works well. I commend the front desk & the concierge personnel for their cheerful demeanour & eager smiles. It's near to the nice local produce shop for fruits & packed gifts goods of Pontianak which I bought for home.
