I booked a special offer room, so it wasn't very spacious. In the evenings, they provided sleep-inducing milk and fruit. Breakfast wasn't included, but they thoughtfully brought us some local Datong breakfast specialties in the morning anyway. When we checked out, they even gave us Datong vinegar and millet as a gift. The ladies at the front desk and the housekeeping staff were all wonderful. I regret not remembering the housekeeper's name, but the front desk staff I remember were Meng Nan and Wang Caiyun.

In the past when I go to Taiyuan I always stayed at Pullmans next to FuLi Xinhualing area. I decided to give this hotel a try due to its location and convenience. Location is very convenient, calling a cab is easy, Starbucks next door, shopping centers all round with food courts, Walmart is 10 minutes walk away. Hotel got a pool and gym, I used it and it is not bad at all. They kept the pool and the gym pretty clean. The rooms are also kept clean. Be mindful that the rooms are not design for privacy. If you are staying with another person in the room the bathroom + shower has clear glasses, they have a see through shades covering the glasses but you can still see everything inside. The rooms seems to be smoke free but the hall ways are always filled with smoke smell. They really do not enforce no indoor smoking rule here. It is a hit and miss on the non-smoking room. I see some guest smoking in their rooms with door open. At last the service. The front desk staff seems very cordial and nice. However on the day we are checking out they informed us that one of the towels we used has dye on it which they can not wash out, that came out to a whopping 100 yuan to replace the towel. Really? 100 yuan, I can get a dozen white towels in Walmart. Also, the claim they couldn't clean it was shown to me on a front desk staff's personal phone. Have you ever heard of bleach before? Seriously, you can not get a white towel cleaned? Is this hotel in the hospitality business or linen retail business? Since I was in a hurry to catch a train I didn't want to argue over something as petty as 100 yuan. I paid the fees and left. Next time I am in Taiyuan again I probably will go back to Pullman hotel. Smoke smell is not a problem and they never give me a hard time on something as petty as a towel.

Being an older hotel, the facilities are understandably a bit dated. However, its location is absolutely fantastic, very close to the attractions, and the service was excellent. We stayed in a top-floor room with a small balcony, offering stunning views of the ancient city's nightscape and the Daiwangfu drone show right from our window. The hotel restaurant comes highly recommended for its food. We did have to queue, but the wait was quicker than we'd anticipated. While the taste wasn't quite as 'astounding' as some online reviews suggested, it was arguably the best non-local meal I've had in Shanxi these past few days – a truly welcome break from dishes like Guo You Rou.

For this trip to Pingyao Ancient City, I chose the upscale Pingyao Libai Hotel. As expected of a Jinjiang Inn hotel, the entire hotel was spacious and bright, with warm and modern rooms. All the amenities were in place, making for a very comfortable stay. Parking was very convenient for those traveling by car, thanks to the hotel's on-site parking lot, which was in a prime location. The hotel environment was beautiful, and the staff were warm and attentive. Getting to Pingyao Ancient City was easy; it's not far from the West Gate and North Gate, just a short walk away. There are also many dining options nearby in the evenings. Staying at the Libai Hotel when visiting Pingyao Ancient City is a perfect choice!

Environment: The hotel is located near Baima Temple Mountain, offering a beautiful, elegant, comfortable, and peaceful setting. Facilities: The hotel opened in May and is fully equipped. The in-room hot spring pool is very comfortable, with ample water flow, fast Wi-Fi, and a wide selection of complimentary drinks in the mini bar. Breakfast is also quite varied. Cleanliness: The hotel is very clean, and the hot spring center is also spotless! Service: The entire hotel staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is excellent, both in the guest rooms and in the restaurant. The front desk staff is very welcoming and will personally explain the hotel facilities and escort them to your room. They also give a small gift upon check-out. My whole family is very satisfied with this hotel and will stay again! Fengyang Yitang Hot Spring 4-Hour Ticket (Includes a meal of your choice and unlimited fruit and drinks): The hot springs aren't large, but they are clean and provide ample leisure and entertainment. Food and drinks upstairs are all free.

Hygiene: Excellent. All towels, bath towels, and bathrobes come in sealed bags, which made me feel very secure using them. Facilities: Excellent. Although it's an older hotel, the showerheads show their age but are very well-maintained and work perfectly. Environment: The location is great. The room card gives access to a small gate leading to Yingze Lake Park. It's a nice two to three-kilometer loop for a leisurely stroll. Service: Excellent. They offered complimentary welcome fruits, and you just scan a QR code to request more amenities. There's also a delivery robot that brings food right to your door, all very convenient. Suggestion: I hope they can switch from instant Nestlé coffee to pour-over coffee bags. Instant coffee feels too low-end and doesn't match the hotel's overall quality.

The environment is very good, a leisure resort, the environment is very good, the sanitary conditions are very good, especially the service is very good, I have stayed in many hotels, the service here is the best, I will choose here again in the future

Later I discovered that I was the Nian beast. I came during the Chinese New Year and left after herding the sheep and setting off firecrackers. As soon as the charger was unplugged, it was goodbye again tomorrow. I really miss my childhood. I could just play with a ball all afternoon, or I could Rush to the New Year greeting line, go to the front and ask for sweets. Growing up may be hiding tears in your eyes. You may not have a Happy New Year, but you must have a good New Year! When I came to Linfen for a trip with my lover, I saw this hotel was newly opened when I was screening hotels online, so I placed an order! Overall, I am very satisfied. The front desk manager, Guo Tongtong, provides very thoughtful service and answers all my questions. There is also a laundry room which is very convenient. The hotel is located in a new commercial center with convenient transportation and parking. The breakfast is also good. There is a local delicacy beef meatball noodles next to it. The hotel recommends chicken soup rice noodles for breakfast. The room overlooks the Fen River, which has a nice view at night. The room is elegantly decorated and meets the hotel's star standards. I will book here again next time I have the chance.

During our trip from Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, through Ordos and Datong, to Taiyuan, we stayed at five hotels in total, and the Marriott was by far our favorite. Upon arrival, a hotel executive personally greeted us and gave the children lollipops, which absolutely delighted them. The hotel is quite new, with excellent facilities, and the breakfast was incredibly delicious. We booked a family room which was large and beautiful, much to the children's delight. We only stayed two nights as our main reason for being in Taiyuan was simply to catch a flight home. When checking out, the kids were begging to stay longer, not wanting to go home. Even I was reluctant to leave – it was truly that comfortable. The entire staff, from service personnel to management, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was also excellent, and the location is fantastic. In fact, this hotel alone has made us consider returning to Taiyuan multiple times! 😁
