Extremely satisfied with my Sanya trip experience! I've been to Sanya probably over 10 times, and this was my first time staying at a hotel not by the sea. It felt quite different. Overall rating: Worth staying. I'd give it 4.5 stars or more. 1) My favorite part was the heaven cliff pool – the view is unbeatable. Swimming here is simply one of life's greatest pleasures. 2) The hotel's buggy service was incredibly responsive, and the staff's attitude was excellent. 3) During the off-peak season, there weren't many guests, but the breakfast maintained a good standard and wasn't skimped on. 4) The Thai restaurant boasts charming views. Although the prices are a bit on the high side, the mesmerizing scenery and live music make it well worth it. 5) The complimentary tropical rainforest park tour offered by the hotel exceeded my expectations. The guide was enthusiastic and helped with photos. 6) The only thing is that since the hotel is located in a tropical rainforest, insects and geckos are inevitable. I even saw a small snake on the balcony. So, it's crucial to keep doors and windows closed at all times and bring your own mosquito repellent. 7) It's been open for a while, and some rooms are currently undergoing maintenance. Overall, it's well-maintained.

Having experienced the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay, and considering our itinerary, I decided to try the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay. The day before our check-in, Kaylee from guest relations proactively contacted me to confirm the details and made thoughtful arrangements for us. 👍 On the day of our check-in, it was pouring rain in Haitang Bay. We were stuck with our luggage in the duty-free shop, watching the rain show no signs of stopping. I contacted Kaylee to ask if the hotel could send someone to pick us up. Kaylee informed me that the hotel didn't have vehicles that could go to the duty-free shop. However, the hotel staff later sent umbrellas for us, helped us move our luggage to the hotel's side entrance, and then the hotel shuttle took us to the lobby. 👍 The hotel lobby is much larger than the InterContinental Sanya Dadonghai, and the overall scale feels comparable to the Westin Wanning/Lingshui. The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable. The fruit was delicious, and the room was equipped with Baishui Mountain mineral water, with Pure Enjoyment still water for refills. During our stay, whenever I contacted Kaylee, she responded immediately and acted quickly, even when she was off duty, which was impressive! So nice! 👍 Before coming, I learned that the hotel has a large fish tank with many fish, including sea turtles and manta rays. So, I took my child to the viewing tunnel on B2. My child was deeply fascinated by the fish, especially when they saw a giant grouper. My child blurted out, ”Look, fish 2.0!” I was puzzled, and my child explained it was like ”oil tanker 2.0,” with a bunch of smaller fish (like planes) following it. 🤭 We also saw a mermaid show. However, due to the distance of the performance area and limited visibility at the bottom of the tank, we could only see silhouettes. Fortunately, there were pictures of the mermaid show on the tunnel wall, which allowed me to explain it to my child in detail. The entire tunnel wall was covered with科普资料 (scientific information) about various fish, allowing for both viewing and learning. 👍 The tunnel also had multiple observation windows, so you could find your best viewing angle. 👍 The hotel boasts a vast lawn. Looking out, the skyline, the ocean, the greenery, and the lawn were truly refreshing. 👍 The waves in Haitang Bay are indeed strong and powerful, far exceeding those in Wanning and Lingshui. The beach quality is much better than Yalong Bay. We even encountered crabs during the day. 🤗 The breakfast restaurant was spacious, with ample seating. Even during peak hours, we didn't see guests waiting in line. The breakfast spread was rich, and they even offered specialty Xinglong coffee. The lobby staff were enthusiastic and all smiles. Seeing us with our luggage, they proactively helped us move it. 👍 Big kudos again to Kaylee from guest relations! 👍 And kudos to the hotel for its excellent service! 👍

Two days that far exceeded my expectations! Our butler, Coral, was so thoughtful. It must have been the off-season because we got an upgrade. She was always quick to respond to any questions, which was super convenient. The room was huge, with two beds facing the balcony, so you could lie in bed and watch the ocean and sunrise. One wall of the bathroom was glass, facing the sea, making it clean and bright. The restaurant was just downstairs, and the roasted chicken at the Thai restaurant was delicious. The room was also very close to the beach, perfect for water activities. In the evenings, you could watch movies on the lawn. There's also a seafood BBQ buffet right by the beach, and they start playing music every evening, creating a lively atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The hotel amenities are complete, and it's super convenient to get to the beach with just a few minutes' walk downstairs. The coconut groves and lawns are also very photogenic, perfect for families with kids. There's a petting zoo, a mini-train, and various activities. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel service is also fantastic, and I especially want to commend Potato, our butler, who sent thoughtful greetings every day. The overall experience was excellent!

What truly sets Banyan Tree Sanya apart is its unparalleled privacy. Each standalone villa is enveloped by lush greenery, creating a natural barrier, and features its own private pool and courtyard plunge pool, offering an exclusive and tranquil space. We had a dedicated 24-hour butler, Zheng Delin, who was incredibly responsive to all our needs. For our anniversary, he even arranged a complimentary room setup, which was a lovely touch and added to the special occasion. The resort boasts a secluded private bay, with hardly any outside visitors. The sunsets over the ocean in the evening were romantic and therapeutic, and the happy hour at the beach bar created a fantastic atmosphere. Every room is equipped with Banyan Tree's signature aromatherapy toiletries, and upon check-in, we received a special welcome gift and fresh fruit. The floating afternoon tea experience was exceptional. The resort's buggies are available for pick-up and drop-off at any time, ensuring a smooth and uncrowded experience. It's truly a luxurious choice for couples on their honeymoon or anyone looking for a relaxing escape, far from the hustle and bustle of crowds.

The Hilton Haikou boasts an excellent location with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The hotel environment is quiet and comfortable. The room facilities are well-maintained and functional. The staff were very responsive, proactively adding me on WeChat to handle all service requests during my stay. Breakfast offered fresh ingredients and a wide variety of choices. Overall, it's great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip.

I originally booked an executive suite with a sea view on another platform, but forgot to make a reservation... By the afternoon, there were no sea view rooms left, so I temporarily chose a mountain view, which was also great. The room was spacious, and my family was very satisfied. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful, arranging two rooms for us even though the sea view rooms weren't available. I'm very grateful for their assistance. My child loved the kids' room key card. In the evening, they delivered fruit and even brought a stroller for my child. Staying at the Marriott with a child was a very thoughtful experience! The afternoon tea was delicious, but the wait was too long, about two hours. I hope they can improve that.

No hotel is perfect; it all depends on what you're looking for. Atlantis caters to families, especially those with slightly older children, and it's also suitable for couples. If you're seeking ambiance, Instagrammable spots, and fewer crowds, you might prefer The Rosewood Sanya or The Sanya EDITION. But if your goal is a family trip with pre-teens, Atlantis is the absolute best, bar none! Let's compare it to other options: * **Compared to Universal Studios Hotel:** It offers better value for money and water activities. * **Compared to Disney Hotels:** It's incredibly good value and suitable for both boys and girls. * **Compared to Guangzhou Chimelong Hotels:** It’s more refined, sophisticated, and has an international flair. Here are the pros: 1. **Room Layouts:** There are many rooms with two 1.5-meter double beds, which is incredibly convenient for parents – those who know, know! 2. **Prompt Service:** Once you call, items are usually delivered within 5 minutes. 3. **Exceptional Cleanliness:** This is a rare find for a family-friendly hotel. 4. **Daily Replenishments:** Fresh towels and linens are provided daily, which is great if you love showering. The mini-fridge is also restocked daily, keeping the kids happy. 5. **Dining Capacity:** Despite the crowds, there are plenty of breakfast seats across two underground restaurants, plus options on the 18th and 48th floors, and a club. 6. **Comprehensive Entertainment:** The Aquaventure Waterpark, C Show, and various activities mean you won't get bored even after a week. There are a few cons, too: 1. **Beach Hawkers:** Motorbike riders on the beach constantly approach you for photos and business, which is annoying. This is a common issue in Haitang Bay. 2. **Ocean Conditions:** The waves are too strong for swimming in the sea. Although there's a designated area, I still don't recommend it. Finally, a shout-out to our butler, Blue Whale. Their service was excellent and very helpful.

He provided timely weather updates and hotel activity information every day, and was very detailed and prompt in his responses regarding hotel services. The hotel environment is also great, and the breakfast is definitely worth trying, with options not only within the main hotel but also at the poolside restaurant and other venues. Transportation to and from places like the sky restaurant is very convenient, with services provided within about 20 minutes for those who want to experience it. The afternoon tea at the Executive Lounge is also fantastic and perfect for relaxing. Even if you're traveling alone, you won't feel lost, as staff are always available to assist. It's also quite close to the beach. Next to the hotel is 68 Food Street, which has plenty of dining options, and the hotel is also very close to the duty-free shop. Overall, it's a great place for a vacation, perfect for solo travelers or families with children. I heard they offer a complimentary bubble bath, which I unfortunately didn't get to experience, but I'll definitely be back next time if I get the chance.

The Sheraton Yalong Bay consistently puts guests first, promptly addressing feedback, and providing thoughtful and attentive service, which truly deserves praise. Their service is professional and on-point, efficiently handling guest requests and actively gathering feedback to meticulously enhance the stay experience. I encountered a minor issue during my stay, and the staff proactively contacted me immediately, even adding me on WeChat to follow up on my subsequent experience. The hotel grounds are surrounded by coconut groves, offering beauty beyond just the mountain and sea views, with warm and unobtrusive service that truly nurtures the soul. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, gentle and meticulous hospitality was present throughout. The staff were enthusiastic, considerate, and polite, offering perfectly timed attentive company—neither overbearing nor distant—and meticulously responding to every need. The multiple swimming pools are fantastic for photos. The room was clean and tidy, and the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed was incredibly comfortable. What truly impressed me most was the service: genuine, actively listening to guest suggestions, and diligently relaying them to relevant departments for improvement. It's suitable for both couples on vacation and families traveling with children. I will definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Sanya. 1.
