MManyouyoudezouMy stay at the Hampton by Hilton Qinhuangdao Jinmenghaiwan was really good. First off, the front desk staff were warm, polite, and spoke courteously. They were very efficient with the check-in process. Even though it was freezing cold, the warm jujube tea offered by the staff instantly made me feel cozy. The room was clean, tidy, bright, and comfortable. The service from the 10th-floor staff was attentive, making me feel right at home!

The beach is nice and surprisingly clean. Sadly there is a construction ongoing which splits the beach up causing a limited enjoyment.
Regarding the hotel. Amazing entrance!
The hotel is made for several 100, when not even 1000 people! But you can clearly see that this amount of visitors causes the material to dissolve. That's quite sad.
We went there in a high frequent moment. Causing reduced service availability and options but they try their best.

RRichterA true 5 Star experience. The room is top notch with a large window overlooking the sea. Service is outstanding in all categories. Breakfast is full and rich. The hotel dinner buffet is so extraordinary that I say you must try it at least once! We were amazed at the variety of dishes and the quality. Hotel location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk and you can have your feet in the sand or water. The Qinhuang Alley Food Street is also within walking distance or very short cab ride. This food street is very lively and fun to visit especially in the evening. Two other recommendations for things to do are Lao Long Tou (Old Dragon Head) which you can get to by cab. And if you are a fan of the Olympics you really should visit Olympic Avenue Park. Amazing relief sculpture wall over 300 meters long portraying Olympic history. Must be seen to be believed. Thank you to all the friendly and professional staff and chefs at Grand Hotel Qinhuang for making our 4 night stay so enjoyable. Qinhuangdao is a wonderful city with so many different things to do and experience we hope we can return again.

AAnonymous UserIt's been thirty years since I last visited Qinhuangdao, and the changes are immense during this revisit. I specifically chose the Shangri-La, which is near the old Beichen Resort. While it's not brand new, this long-standing five-star hotel still offers excellent service and facilities. Upon arrival, I was upgraded to a balcony room, which was spacious with an expansive view. I even caught the sunrise – truly an unbeatable sea view! The hotel breakfast, though slightly less varied in the off-season, was still good. The food at Qinxiangge was delicious and genuinely fresh, much better than the seafood restaurants on the north side of the road nearby. The hotel also provided bread to feed the seagulls, which was a lovely touch. The only minor issue was that on the second night, we could smell cigarette smoke in our bathroom, presumably from another room, so we dared not turn on the exhaust fan.

I've been to many cities in China & and definitely, this one is considered among the top 10 best hotels I've been to so far. The staff is polite and really helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Jay.Li for his warm welcome and help. I strongly recommend this hotel for family travelers.

CCandiceyuequqiIt was a good decision to stay at Senzeyuan. I read a lot of guides and they all said that hot spring hotels are too crowded, too humid, and too noisy. In fact, it is true. My child's eyes were inflamed, so I ordered eye drops to be delivered. The shuttle bus brought them to the front desk of the hotel. The service was very considerate, and they also gave me souvenirs before I left. To be honest, the beach experience was crowded and dirty. The water quality was not very good, and there were jellyfish everywhere. I was stung several times. But overall, it was a very happy family trip.

AAlex KopysReally nice hotel. I asked a room with a balcony. Nice view! And It's not hot here even during the day when the sun is shining. The staff is very friendly. 5-7 minutes from the beach. There are two night markets near the hotel.

Cleanliness Issues: The bathroom had a very strong sewer smell, like a septic tank, as soon as you opened the door. We had to keep the windows and doors open all night to air it out, which made for a very unpleasant experience.
Parking Management Issues: EV charging spots were occupied by gasoline cars, and the situation was unmanaged. When we returned at night to charge our car, we had to contact the front desk for assistance. The staff called the car owners, and it took over half an hour for just one car to be moved. Despite the hotel having so many available spaces in its underground parking, these gasoline cars were occupying the charging spots. Some owners didn't move their cars even after being called, only driving away the next day – a remarkable display of poor etiquette. I've attached photos for everyone to see.
Pros:
Excellent location and views; the sea-view room offered superb ocean vistas.
The Chinese food at the second-floor restaurant was very much to our liking; the Szechuan boiled beef and sole fish were particularly delicious.
The staff provided very attentive service.
On-site, they offered me a discount when I provided feedback, but I declined. Paying for a stay is a given, but it's important to report actual issues. I hope this feedback encourages the hotel to make improvements, benefiting future guests.
Suggestions:
Promptly clean and disinfect room bathrooms.
Implement better management for EV charging spots in the parking lot.

GGuest UserIt’s right next to the ocean, so the view is amazing and close to the tourist areas. The store at the hotel closes early and theres almost noting to do during the night. Would definitely stay here again.
