Excellent stay with exceptional service. The front desk team (Liu Xin Ke, An Xu, and Li Yongxing) was warm, efficient, and always ready to help. Check-in was smooth, and they consistently offered thoughtful assistance throughout my visit. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality made our trip truly enjoyable. As an international traveler also a local group of companys owner I would like to express my appreciation to the newly established local hotel the Wyndham. It's beautiful French style renovation, and the friendly hospitality the staff had offered was quite amazing. Really enjoyed my short stay there, furthermore, the Taishan mountain view and the little duck is perfect for those who enjoyed a little smoke and a great view at the same time. Special recognition and appreciation to Jason Bai, who provided thoughtful and warmly service of my late night arrival.

Stayed at hotel 3x times over 2 weeks. Room # 3609 has obvious water seepage issue on the bedroom wall, from the shower water most likely, so do expect some wear and tear, seeing hotel has been around for couple of years already .. Also wish the main toilet was better thought out, with counter space and also space to hang used towels, etc.. Other than that, we are truly happy with hardworking front desk and house-keeping staff who took very good care of us and make the shortfall in the hardware aspect more bearable.

The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to the Confucius Temple and Mansion. The ambiance is wonderful, with ancient-style Chinese architecture throughout. Both the rooms and public areas are very well-designed. The courtyard room has a large private courtyard, perfect for relaxing. The hotel service is outstanding. They contacted us a day in advance and even prepared children's toiletries and a step stool. Any issues we had were immediately addressed. On our last day, they even allowed us a late check-out because our child was asleep – so thoughtful! We ordered a few signature dishes at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, and the taste was great. Although it's a bit pricey, there's really nothing else to fault. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

Gostei muito da minha estadia no Continental Hotel! O check-in foi rápido. Até ganhei um upgrade com uma vista linda para a praça. A roupa de cama é muito confortável e limpa. A equipe do andar de baixo desacelerava a porta giratória toda vez que minha mãe de 90 anos passava e a ajudava. Ficamos muito emocionados. Obrigado!

Nossa curta viagem a Jinan valeu muito a pena! Inicialmente, não tínhamos planejado nos hospedar aqui, mas, devido às boas avaliações e às belas fotos, decidimos. O Shangquan Lishe Hotel tem uma localização estratégica, a uma curta caminhada da Grande Mesquita do Sul de Jinan (a mesquita mais antiga de Jinan, construída em 1295 durante a dinastia Yuan), também muito perto da Fonte Baotu e a 1,5 km do calçadão Kuanhouli. Há muitos restaurantes com opções halal por perto e vale a pena experimentar a culinária local. Adoramos! Depois, nos permitiram fazer check-out tardio e ganhamos um souvenir da recepcionista no momento do check-out 😍. Resumindo, este hotel é lindo, aconchegante, aconchegante, com boa localização, funcionários simpáticos e simpáticos, etc. Recomendo a estadia! 👍🏻

I found what looked like an engorged tick or bedbug crawling up my bed. The hotel is pretty and I booked it for 1 night as a luxury treat so I could get a good rest for my layover stop to another destination. My room smelt like stale smoke unfortunately, though I had asked for non-smoking. I paid extra on my booking for breakfast and had to wake up at 6am, eat breakfast at 6.30am and go to the airport at 7.20am. My room had a bathtub so I took a bath before bedtime and went to bed at midnight, I got up to go switch the lamp off at 1am and found this bug crawling up the side of my bed going towards me. I think it's either a tick or a bed bug, the body was full of blood. It had 6 or 8 legs, difficult to see but I took a video which doesn't allow me to upload. I don't have any problems with normal bugs such as spiders, but if it is a tick or bedbug it is a big problem. I was really worried there were more hiding inside the bed, I called reception for help and they looked at the bug which I caught in a glass cup. They apologised deeply and changed my room, so I had to move at 1.30am. I explained I was already tired and have to wake up early. In the new room I was unable to sleep as I kept worrying about bed bugs. I got up multiple times to check my bed. And there was a noisy couple next door talking loudly until very late so I couldn't sleep. For a luxury hotel you should not need to loose a whole night's sleep because you are worried about bedbugs or ticks biting you. Nor should be able to hear noise from other guests through the wall. I was extremely exhausted the next day and did not have any appetite. I asked if they could refund the extra I paid for breakfast because I couldn't eat it, but they said it wasn't possible. So I forced myself to try eat 1 egg and some small rice porridge but couldn't finish it. Really expensive to pay for breakfast and hardly eat, it's a shame they couldn't refund the breakfast considering I had no sleep. For a 5* hotel, I would like to have good rest and peaceful sleep. But it was not like that. The staff were very kind and helpful, but it's not so easy to travel here alone. It was not easy to book a taxi for the following morning to the airport and it took 40 minutes of assistance, the man was very kind and helpful, but the hotel should make an easier system for foreign guests to book taxi. When I first arrived in Jinan airport, I had no idea how to get to the hotel. There is no ATM inside the hotel so you cannot withdraw cash, and you cannot pay with foreign card to book a taxi. The shangri-la website did not provide any details for public transport. It simply said bus transfer was available but did not say which number bus. I would give the details here but I have forgotten the route name and bus number now as it was hectic and I was very tired, sorry. I had to waste a lot of time trying to ask for help at the airport as the staff did not speak English. Luckily someone helped me. The bus will cost 20yuan and take you into the centre where you will see the intercontinental hotel and a large shopping mall on the left side of the bus, get off at that stop, it takes 1 hour. From there it's only 5 minutes walk to shangri-la. For a big hotel they should provide easy instructions on the website to guests. The staff apologised deeply for the bug on the bed, and offered 10% reduction of the room rate. Although when I checked out no refund was given and they didn't mention anything about it, I think they just charged full price. Personally I think 10% is not enough anyway. Nobody wants to change rooms at 1.30am because of bugs crawling on the bed. I didn't get any sleep at all and felt itchy because I kept thinking about bugs and couldn't eat the breakfast. I was absolutely exhausted the following day so I was unable to do anything at my next destination and had to waste 1 day more to rest. Unfortunately not an easy experience at the shangri-la.

環境整體都挺好的。站在陽台上就能看到海，也能看到落日餘暉，晚霞，風景真的不錯！ 酒店給了直通沙灘的手環，樓下就是沙灘，有時間可以下去漫步～房間裏非常的暖和，但不是很悶的那種……還有歡迎水果，非常有心！ 房間挺乾淨的，就是衞生間的洗浴灑，裝的實在有點高。用起來不是太方便。。 服務整體真的很好，尤其是餐廳的服務，真的很温馨～還有客房的阿姨也非常的禮貌！

I had really nice experience at this room! The manager has upgrated the room since it was vacant. The way of check-in might be a little bit difficult for foreigners, but if you have wechat accounts, it won't be a big problem! I can 100% recommed this room to everyone who is searching for cheap hotel at convinient location in Qingdao!
