The room is in a great location, only about 400-700 meters from popular attractions such as the Hongyadong Bridge,Chongqing Art Gallary,Daijia Alley. It’s very convenient to get around, as it is right next to Xiaoshizi subway station(100 meters). Just across from the accommodation, slightly diagonally, is Arhat Temple. The host is easy to contact via WeChat. The room also offers views of the bridge and the Raffles buildings, though from the back side. The room is well-equipped with all the basic amenities, including indoor slippers. There are plenty of power outlets.

I think this is the best hotel I have been too. The best customer service ever received. They really went extra mile for us. We arrived very late at night and our lovely girl was there to help us and offered us a place to rest a bit at the lobby and some snacks which were really appreciated. The entire staff was so good in particular Orange, Luobo and Tutu, they were amazing, I am amazed by how caring and supportive they are. I hope the management rewards them because they are super! Best customer service ever and we travel a lot and we see a lot of nice hotels. The room is huge and the service as I said is amazing. The bath (or maybe swimming pool 🤣) in the room is a plus and I also the rainy spa was so cool. Breakfast is soo good and so big! I love that, I also had our lovely Orange help us with take out food. Thank you so much!

The location was fantastic - 山城步道 is just opposite, and 10 min walk away is 十八梯. If you continue walking you will end up in 解放碑 and 洪崖洞. Walk somemore and you will reach 来福士 (took me about 2.5h). The concierge is currently on the 4th floor in a makeshift area but the girls were nice and helped me receive my taobao parcels on my behalf before my arrival. They were also amiable during our communication on Wechat. The hotel room is pretty and definitely aesthetic, but after having been to over a dozen Chinese hotels, the cleanliness can be improved as the sofa chair didn't look too clean and there was plenty of grout. The showerhead also isn't exactly in the best condition as the water was leaking from the sides. Additionally, the toilet also had a bit of sewage smell so that's something to keep in mind ~ The view from the 41st floor is amazing though and you get both street view and sea view.

Superb locations. You can never feel hungry around this area. It’s located right in the center of Chongqing. The view is amazing and we enjoyed our stay. It could be challenging to find the hotel entrance at first so we recommend you to come a little earlier. The building entrance is right opposite to the huge adidas store.

As a hotel enthusiast, I have to recommend this hidden gem I discovered! Aspera Sky Garden Hotel has completely redefined my perception of a city hotel. Let's start with the room: I initially booked a Cloud Mist Elegant King Room, which was already great, but I decided to upgrade to the Cloud Horizon Hot Spring King Room for an even more expansive view. The hot spring bath in the room was a highlight; soaking in it while enjoying the night view truly melted all my fatigue away. The real showstopper, however, was the afternoon tea! It felt absolutely dreamlike to be enjoying desserts in the clouds. The location is also fantastic, right downstairs from Jiefangbei. The service was attentive, the bedding was comfortable ensuring a good night's sleep, and even the toiletries were from a high-end brand. This kind of experience is truly worth investing in!

Excellent location. Right above transit station. Local food stalls and high end restaurants nearby the Hotel. Closed to most key tourist spot. Very nice and helpful staff. 飛飛is our house keeper friendly and caring. Room has a wonderful river view. Spacious and clean. Very comfortable bed with high quality pillow and blanket. If I back to Chongqing, this hotel is my first choice.

Perfect location, right in the heart of Chongqing's downtown, at walkable distance of all main attractions. The hotel lobby is on the 31st floor, but our room was then located on the 33rd floor. Be aware that not all elevators take you to all floors and that it can be time consuming to go up and down. While we had booked a room with views, the views were practically from the bathroom's window. The size of the room was fine with a quite big and well equipped bathroom. The bed was very hard for our liking. The staff was friendly and kept our luggage for us upon check out until night time!

Hotel is in a great location just steps away from the Liberation Monument. It is located in a high-rise commercial building with the lobby on the 43rd floor. Other hotels seem to share the building which is common here. We enjoyed the beautiful room which is really unbeatable for the views, spaciousness and cleanliness, at a very reasonable price. Hotel staff (front desk and room service) are very friendly and helpful all the time, and the front desk is always manned. We received a free hotpot base upon check-out, and there was a free city tour on offer to all guests (we already had planned our itinerary hence we did not take it up). There is also free laundry service which is awesome as you get your clothes refreshed and can pack lighter. Breakfast and the free-flow afternoon tea is very simple, with snacks, cereal, fruits and drinks (coffee, tea, soy milk, orange juice). Breakfast also included some buns and hard-boiled eggs. It’s a good way to start your morning but it is very simple. There are many restaurants and food stalls nearby including at the Bayi Food Street just at the doorstep which opens till very late and is very lively. There is a great tea shop downstairs where you can pickup souvenirs for home. The only downside to this hotel seems to be a temporary one - where 2 out of the 4 lifts serving the higher floors (where this hotel is located) are out of service, and we have to wait quite a bit for the lifts at any point in time. I hope this is improved in time soon as 2 lifts are quite limited when it is peak hour with people checking in/out and so many people ordering food delivery.

The view is great. The front desk is friendly, helpful and accommodating. When we had questions or concerns they answered immediately via wechat. But aside from the friendly service and the great view, the hotel room itself is not worth the price. We stayed in the 270 duplex with large pool. The pool is that- a small sized jacuzzi that CAN NOT be heated. I don’t know why the hotel wouldn’t allow it to be heated, I am not going to sit in freezing water and look at the view on a cold evening in December. Do not be fooled the pool cannot be used in the winter it is just too cold. We arrived for a 2 nights stay and the pool was at 19’ we pushed the heat button but it only got up to 28’ which isn’t warm enough even for epic photos to try and pretend. My other issue is the heating for the room. The hotel staff let us know that the window should be shut in the evening because there can be mosquitos as we are near the river. However the heating unit in the room can only heat, no air conditioning is available so if you want the upstairs bedroom to be any sort of cool livable temperature you must have the window open at night for air, leading to the choice of air or bugs. We had to leave the window open because heat rises and the upstairs was too hot so we slept with moths that flew in the open window. The upstairs has no ventilation or airflow so once’s it is hot it is hard to cool down. Housekeeping was clean and quick, service was good but there are a lot better deals to be had in Chongqing, the main reason for the low rating is the high price doesn’t match what you are receiving. Paying over 300USD per night I would think it would cover the price to heat the “pool”. I would stay somewhere less expensive with a jacuzzi that can be heated instead of a “pool”. Or maybe check out the less expensive rooms in this hotel with a bathtub bc the hotel itself is very nice, just this specific room was a disappointment for the large price tag. If you’ve read this far do note you need to take the elevator to the 30th floor then a different elevator to the 38th floor for check in then back to your floor which ours was on the 33rd floor. (Multiple elevators are very common in Chongqing hotels. This is no issue for us and doesn’t have to do with the rating- just a quick note how to enter if you do end up staying here.)
