GGuest UserI traveled during the May Day holiday, avoiding the peak crowd, and my highly anticipated Huangshan trip was absolutely perfect. I originally planned to stay at a hotel on Bright Summit, but I changed it at the last minute the day before my hike. I'm so glad I chose Baiyun Hotel! The five-star service was impeccable – they provided foot soak tubs, shoe dryers, flashlights, and even down jackets. In the evening, they thoughtfully delivered fruit, and the 'Wogan' mandarins were incredibly sweet. The breakfast was also very rich and varied. Just a small suggestion: two bottles of water in the room felt a bit scarce, and the 160 CNY dinner buffet wasn't as good as breakfast; it could definitely be improved. Manager Xiao Min was excellent, and the self-directed performances by everyone were fantastic.

JJiankangchangshounvshiThe hotel is very conveniently located. You can get there right after you get off the tourist bus. It is also very close to Jiuhua Street. It is said to be a ten-year-old hotel, but it does not look old. The overall hygiene is still very good. The breakfast is also good. There is no other problem except that there are too many people. There are also vending machines and ice cream in the lobby. If you are greedy and don’t want to go out, you can buy some snacks here. Here I would like to especially thank the young man in the housekeeping department and the master in the engineering department on May 2. On that day, there was a problem with the password lock of my suitcase. I originally wanted the master in the engineering department to help me pry the lock open, and I could buy a new suitcase. The two of them helped me fix it after a long time. I am grateful.

GGuest UserMy friend and I travelled here while sightseeing the Huangshan Mountain area on off-peak season in early February and stayed here 1 night. Shanyu Life and Design team were amazing at assisting us with organising transport from before we arrived. Really appreciated the quick response times and helpfulness! When we arrived we were greeted with a welcome tea and snack, the kitten was super playful and great fun. Overall, the service was excellent, the best wholesome meals with good portions and nutritient rich. We ordered the stinky fish and pork ribs at night, and had a lunch with noodles. The room was two beds as we had requested and was a really nice, modern fitout. Only thing was the shower/ bath not in a separate room - might be better for families, and some dust on the lamp shades but otherwise we were very happy. The lighting was also a struggle as some soft ones stayed on all night and the light switching was missing ones for the reading lamp on each side. Extra amenity like the loud speaker, slippers, picnic gear were all bonuses. Appreciated the large spaciousness and privacy we had, with a road view. The communal areas had lots of seating for groups in the dining and offered more outdoor areas to explore. A+ experience, would return!

YYOYO—AkikoFacilities: We were upgraded from Block B to Block A, and the facilities were excellent. There's a dryer, which was a lifesaver! My waterproof jacket was really stuffy, so I dried it right after checking in, which made hiking later much more comfortable. The shower pressure was better than expected; the water flow was strong, which I wasn't anticipating. Toiletries, including toothbrushes and combs, were all provided, even though the booking page said they weren't, so we brought our own unnecessarily. Service: After checking in, a concierge added me on WeChat and sent important notices, including sunrise and sunset times. However, watching the sunset from Danxia Peak wasn't great; I climbed up with a lot of effort and waited for half an hour, only to see a tiny silhouette.

OOzoubeiThe room looks exactly like the pictures and is located on the second floor. During the day, you can hear people outside from one side, but it's very quiet at night. Overall, everything was great, and the service was excellent, with a shuttle provided. There are three beautiful cats in the courtyard. We had breakfast in the courtyard the next day, and the food was delicious. I checked out both the front and back entrances, and it's conveniently located close to everything.

GGuest UserThe Shilin Hotel is close to the back mountain, which is convenient for those coming from Yun Valley and touring the area. It's very near sights like Monkey Watching the Sea and Shixin Peak. The hotel rooms are exceptionally clean, and the beds are soft and comfortable. The rooms are a decent size and come with electric heaters. The shower and toilet are separate, and it's even a smart toilet. Despite being on the mountain, all kinds of amenities in the room are well-stocked. The staff members are all very friendly and accommodating, readily fulfilling several requests we made. The rooms also provide down jackets, which are great for staying warm while watching the sunrise and sunset. Breakfast is 15 per person, which is excellent value and quality for a mountaintop location. Overall, it was a great stay.

AAnonymous UserThe receptionist was very helpful. When we checked into our room it was filled with strong cigarette smoke and she helped us change rooms upon our feedback which was much appreciated. Room had a nice view of the street and surrounding hills, the only drawback was that you could hear the tour buses sounding their loud horns every other minute during the day. Hotel is about 10 min walk to the shuttle bus station or you can grab a taxi for about 10 yuan.

SShijunzibuqiAs a top-tier domestic hotel brand, Banyan Tree generally excels in every aspect. My family and I stayed there during the May Day holiday, and our experience was absolutely perfect. The hotel's gardens are particularly serene and comfortable, with expansive views, offering a truly relaxing garden atmosphere. There's a pond right outside the room, which adds a lovely touch. Inside the room, the window view is superb, and the bathtub is perfectly situated, with excellent hot water. I was particularly impressed by the intricate carvings on the internal doors. For breakfast, the freshly squeezed juices were fantastic, and there was a great variety; on the day we stayed, they even had delicious lamb chops. Finally, regarding the service, the staff were all very professional, clearly well-trained, yet also very friendly and approachable. Although the hotel was quite pricey during May Day, it largely justified its value. Especially breathtaking are the wild clouds and mist right outside the hotel, and it's also very close to Hongcun Village. Absolutely stunning.

We loved our stay at Villa Emerald Valley especially due to: + Lovely hosts: super friendly, multi generational, from the neighborhood and always keen to fulfill all our wishes even before we knew them + Bright, modern, clean and cosy rooms: Big windows, clean and modern bathroom facilities (great hot shower that is truly needed after a day in the mountain), really comfy beds, water boiler, etc. + Nice common area: game room, restaurant, tea table, small pool + Tasty food: breakfast, lunch and dinner freshly prepared, many options (also vegetarian), fresh fruits and tea, decent prices -＞ we loved their tomato&egg, bamboo, qingcai and tofu dishes + Smooth communication and great service: quick responses via WeChat, airport pick up (200¥ one way), support with ticket booking for huangshan, carrying luggage, extra fruits, etc. + Emerging into the community: as it was tea harvest time, the hosts took us to the tea mountain close by where we could help picking tea leaves + Location: huangshan is overall really touristy with a lot of group tourism and thus overall probably not the nicest place to stay for a longer time. However, the home stay, while being close to all main tourist attractions, lies very calm and right beside the mountains where locals live and work, so it does not feel touristy at all and you could easily spend several days there to explore and relax Also , the hosts can speak some English, so communication for foreigners is not a problem.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse is absolutely fantastic, you can tell they pour their heart into it. The butler helped us with so many issues, and all the staff members were incredibly nice. We saw breathtaking sunrises, sunsets, and sea of clouds over Mount Huangshan during our two-day stay. They helped us plan our itinerary, and there were different experiential activities daily. The photos we took during these activities turned out beautifully. The food was exceptionally good – the pumpkin soup, Anhui mandarin fish, bamboo shoots, and green vegetables were all so delicious that the meals at the Banyan Tree we visited later were a huge disappointment in comparison. It's a shame that the 'YUNJI' brand is only available in Huangshan; I wish we could experience it in other cities too. Our trip to Mount Huangshan was perfect, all thanks to YUNJI.
