Hotéis com Pools em Indiana, United States

At 3 AM, there was a knock on my room door. I thought I was dreaming, but when I woke up, the knocking was still going on. Looking through the peephole, I saw two men, one Black and one White. They didn't look like hotel staff or anything like that. I didn't open the door, and they left. I was about to go back to sleep when there was another knock, and I even heard the doorknob being turned. I opened the door, and it was the same two men again. I asked them what they wanted, and they said a few things I couldn't understand before leaving again. I immediately reported this to Trip.com. The hotel replied that the guest was looking for something. What does the guest looking for something have to do with waking someone up in the middle of the night and disturbing their privacy? Why is it said so casually? Since the incident, I haven't received a single apology or positive response from the hotel.

I am torn with this one so I'll list both the pros and the cons, starting with the bad parts to get that out of the way: 1) The pool was closed due to a part missing, and we only found out at check-in. I work in property management, so I know how hard it can be to keep a property fully operational 365 days per year. I still have a hard time understanding how a resort can find itself with a missing pool part in the middle of the season! And not give a heads up to guests before they arrive! 2) For that inconvenience, all we were offered were two (2) $10 vouchers to the spa... which was already closed for the day and was not going to reopen for 4 days! What kind of hotel calls itself a resort if the spa is closed 3 days per week?! And even if that's how you normally operate, wouldn't you think to change the schedule when the pool breaks down in the middle of the summer and you decide that spa vouchers are the way to compensate guests for the inconvenience?? For the good parts: 1) Parking was free. 2) Drinks were cheap at the casino. 3) Room was clean (we had a bad view but not much can be done about that I guess). Two (2) final comments I'll call ”neutral”: 1) the mattress was a bit too firm and the pillows too thin for me. But I'm not counting that as a bad thing since that's more of a personal preference. 2) I'm not a huge gambler but I thought the sportsbook was small. I understand it's not meant to be Vegas but again, if you're going to advertise yourself as a casino resort, I just expected bigger. This part wasn't an inconvenience on my trip but I might as well mention it.

Beautiful environment, clean housing

This hotel is very strange, I booked twice, the bill price, the actual deduction and the same as Ctrip sent to me, two days ago the deduction is inconsistent, Ctrip attitude is not bad for me to handle, now this bill is not The same, the scheduled time is 127.33 US dollars, check out the bill is 139.23 US dollars (this is added state tax, I can understand), but my bank card actual deduction is 174.23 US dollars, the difference is too big. The last day of 2018 actually made me worry about this matter. This should be given a bad review.

The overall environment and service are good. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to South Bend University Stadium, which is very convenient. There are also many places to eat nearby, with different tastes to choose from. There is a traditional American bar, where you can order beer and experience different lifestyles and culture.

To begin with the front desk clerks were great and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was closed & it was June 1st, so that was a bummer. They advertise a gourmet breakfast, to my surprise --- it wasn't even close, no cream for the coffee, one of the juice drinks were out , no yogurt, then to top it all off ---- The waffle machine was disgusting!!! Dirty, & when I asked about the lady making a waffle ahead of me about her waffle sticking to the waffle maker, the host said ” well, it's because all of the non stick coating on the waffle maker is worn off” & the hotel was supposed to be getting a new one!!! When I wiped it with a napkin - black stuff appeared on it... So needless to say NO Waffle for me Today!! The waffle maker shouldn't have even been in use! Wow. And the temperature of the sausage Links were cold to the touch!! Very disappointed, Louann Archer/Steven Vaughn

I wasn’t too pleased in the beginning because we get there at 5 in the morning a little after booking this room online exhausted and then the guy upfront tries to tell us that it’s a $40 up charge bc check in time is 3pm ok fine whatever not pleased. Then we get into our room and the curtains are stained and dirty the shower oh don’t even get me started. The water from the shower is so bipolar it was the worst shower I’ve ever taken it kept going from hot to cold in seconds back and forth. The pool was finally open for a change not too bad , breakfast wasn’t too bad either waffles were good. House keeping knocked then opened the door when we were sleepin I quickly got out of bad freaked out but told them we’re good night need towels but that’s it . I did notice that there was a hole in the bathroom door it looks like someone punched it oh also I’m pretty sure half the staff lives there .

Bathrooms were nice. Towels big & fluffy. Shower was WONDERFUL! Crack in tile at the rear of shower but it did not effect the shower itself. Not super soft water, which was great. Some places have water so very soft that a person never feels clean. Bed was comfortable with lots of varied pillows; good choices. Television monitor big and responsive. All the lights worked and were good to read by. Everything was covered in dust from construction. Breakfast lady did her best but not enough seats and dust hovered in the air. When we first arrived, we did not know how to get to the front desk to check in. (WHEN will you be finished remodeling?!) Lady with green/blue hair tried to be nice but I am NOT her ”hon.” Three times she called me hon or honey. I'm 73. My wife standing right there. How about a little respect?

Hotel in general. The breakfast room is a big waiter. The variety is too single. Challah. The room is still spacious

The service was outstanding all the way around! I would like to personally take the time to praise April for her over the top customer service, she went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible for myself and my handicapped man. Diria ( the host in the breakfast area) was also a very exceptional employee, she also went out of her way to make our stay great, she found a box for me to carry my handicapped man's breakfast in ,so I could carry it back up to the room for him. You should definitely keep both employees,as they are both over the top customer service friendly people. Thank you both for making our stay outstanding! Louann Archer and Steven Vaughn
