Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Okura. Hands down the best Jap hotel we've stayed! Staff were incredibly polite, and we loved how the room was spacious and all the amenities were readily available - even comfy bedroom slippers, face towels (yes face towels, which are very uncommon in jap hotels) and 2 hairdryers. The bathroom had ample space for me to place me skincare and makeup products, and the toothpaste tasted good (I personally didn't like many other toothpastes in other jap hotels). Mugs for rinsing mouths were also made of ceramic with nice floral designs. There were enough hooks in the bathroom to place our dirty and clean clothes as well. Loved the blackout curtains and also that the toilet light doesn't flood the entire room with light (common in jap hotels), so my hubby could continue sleeping whilst I got ready for the day. Staff were also polite and greeted us each time we walked past, brought our luggage up to our hotel room, and facilitated a seamless check-in and check-out process. 2 bottles of fresh-tasting 550ml mineral water were also provided daily.

I had a great stay at Miyako Hotel Hakata. The location is extremely convenient—just a short walk from the subway station, which made getting around Fukuoka very easy. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The room was well-equipped with everything I needed, and daily housekeeping kept it spotlessly clean. I’ll definitely consider staying here again the next time I visit Fukuoka.

Em primeiro lugar, a localização não é conveniente para passear pela área da cidade. Mas os prós são tão óbvios e inegáveis. É muito longe de locais famosos, mas excepcionalmente aconchegante e tranquilo, e o quarto do hotel é espaçoso o suficiente em comparação com outros hotéis. Você pode dar um passeio até a praia de Momochi a pé do hotel facilmente. Se você é bom em caminhar, não acho que não possa ir até a estação de metrô a pé. Sim, leva algum tempo, mas você pode relaxar no caminho para a estação. contras é uma coisa. A piscina coberta não é boa para nadador, tem apenas 3 pistas e está sempre ocupada por alunos ou idosos que estão apenas andando na água. Ao lado do hotel fica o estádio de beisebol. Se você é um grande fã de beisebol, não pode perder o jogo de beisebol profissional japonês lá. É uma memória inesquecível para crianças e familiares, tenho certeza.

It is a long walk within the underground train station to the hotel with big luggages but there is an elevator access directly to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Spacious room even with 3 beds.

The hotel is well-located, clean, and staffed with professional and friendly personnel, making it a comfortable place to stay in Fukuoka. Both the indoor dining and breakfast were of good quality and enjoyable. Nevertheless, our experience was partly affected by the unavailability of the gym and pool facilities during our stay. We were disappointed that no compensation or alternative support was provided, which detracted somewhat from an otherwise strong hotel experience.

Strange hotel / apartment, it’s very large and spacious but not much to fill the space and doesn’t have a very homely or comfy vibe. Rooms were clean though and there was everything you needed from an apartment. Staff at reception were very welcoming but didn’t seem to have the same urgency to help as other places I’ve visited in Japan. The location was fantastic for our sightseeing and sporting needs. We had a short walk to the Fukuoka Dome to watch baseball and short walks to other sightseeing spots, including the beach. Public transport was also very close by and convenient.

こちらのミスで誤った部屋の予約をしていたことに直前で気づいたため当ホテルに連絡したところ、部屋のアップグレードという形で対応していただきました。新しく宿泊先を探す必要がなくなり感謝しております。 部屋も広く、風呂トイレ別かつ清潔な状態だったので快適に夜を過ごせました。 また、朝食付きでこの値段というのもお得でした。 また機会があれば候補として考えたいと思っております。

Location of hotel is very good, Level 2 has a sheltered walkway linked to Kokura station. When exit from the door, turn right to take the route towards stadium, this is faster as it has a travellator. It’s less walking than walking towards Lawson and pass the anime building to the same kokura station entrance. From kokura, can access many malls such as Vierra, AMU plaza, Saintcity and etc. If the tower floor has discount, highly recommend to take it as the amenities are good and refilled each day of the stay. Free access to Tower library which is a quiet and cozy area to chill and enjoy the free drinks with a nice view. There are hot and iced coffee, tea, calpis, Minute Maid etc. Breakfast set menu for tower room only is good, had a special fish dish on the both days I went, service is top notch. Buffet spread at level 1 is good too, has many tasty selections. After the buffet, can even takeaway a cup of coffee from the entrance coffee machine.
