I recently had the pleasure of staying at Munakata Resort Hotel during my visit to Munakata, Fukuoka, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. This charming hotel surpassed my expectations in every aspect, offering a serene atmosphere, impeccable service, and a memorable stay. First and foremost, the location of Munakata Resort Hotel is simply idyllic. Situated at 651-2 Konominato, it provides a peaceful retreat surrounded by the natural beauty of Munakata. The hotel is nestled amidst lush greenery and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. It felt like a hidden oasis, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the attentive and friendly staff, who made me feel instantly at ease. Their genuine hospitality and personalized service left a lasting impression. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone went out of their way to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. The accommodation at Munakata Resort Hotel was exceptional. My room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and meticulously maintained. The comfortable bed and luxurious amenities provided a true sense of relaxation and indulgence. The attention to detail in room décor and amenities was evident, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional dining experience at Munakata Resort Hotel. The on-site restaurant offered a culinary journey of authentic Japanese cuisine. It was a typical Japanese city centre hotel… small and comfortable, but I am not sure why they call themselves a five star hotel because it lacked a certain finesse. The roof top pool was ok, the room was small and the breakfast was average… it was ok, but I would say look for another hotel for this kind of money, I am sure you can get a better option.

We booked one night in this hotel. The room size is as stated , very spacious with a beautiful view of the city, the room can even sleep for 3 persons. Toilet is clean although it’s an old style and design with a bathtub. Breakfast have western and Japanese food , eggs have a few ways to cook and will deliver to your table after order. Service is good. This hotel is next to the train station. A convenience store is just located in the middle of passage connecting to the hotel and station. Free parking is available in the hotel, which is very convenience for guests with cars.

We had a wonderful stay at Okura Hotel Fukuoka! The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, and their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The amenities were well-prepared and of great quality, and the housekeeping team was very thoughtful and attentive. The hotel has a gym, sauna, and swimming pool — entry requires an additional fee, but the pricing is reasonable. We came to celebrate my dad’s birthday. Although no special decorations could be arranged, the hotel kindly prepared some birthday cookies as a gesture, which was very sweet. This hotel will definitely be my top choice whenever I visit Fukuoka again. 這次入住福岡大倉酒店的體驗非常棒！工作人員友善熱情，貼心的服務讓人有種回到家的感覺。酒店的設施準備周全、品質優良，客房清潔服務也非常細心周到。酒店設有健身室、桑拿和游泳池，使用需要額外收費，但價格合理。 這次是為了替父親慶祝生日而入住，雖然無法安排特別佈置，但酒店仍貼心準備了生日曲奇作為心意，讓人倍感溫暖。這家酒店一定會是我下次來福岡時的首選！

Excellent location, many restaurants and shopping centers around. Underground connection to metro which is definitely an advantage. However, the amenities is disappointing. Wellness centre including gym, swimming pool, sauna cost additional fee ¥4400 per day per person. I overlooked this charge when I booked the hotel which I think is just normal for a 4/5 stars hotel to provide these facilities to hotel guest at no additional cost. End up quite disappointing. I searched other similar grade hotels in the area, none of them charge extra for fitness centre. I consider fitness centre is very basic amenities for a 4/5 star hotel, so if this cost extra, there isn’t any amenities at all. Given the room rates they charge, I would not recommend this hotel.

This is a perfect getaway hotel resort, highly recommended for couples only. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I would only recommend staying here if you’re driving as I find it more convenient to get to other dining places which are mostly nearer to the city area. The resort provides free parking onsite. This is a spectacular stay. It’s quiet and feels almost like we’re staying alone in the whole resort, it might be due to the low-peak winter season when I visit. The sea view is gorgeous! The room comes with a jacuzzi tub with ambient lights perfect for a couple’s pleasant night vibe. The staff allows us to bring the drinks up to our room, so it’s perfect with the jacuzzi. The room is also spacious, accompanied by a balcony facing the seas. Amenities provided were top-notched, with Bvlgari body soaps, shampoo and lotion, along with Reva Hairdryer. The resort seems like a very beautiful wedding venue by the seas, so it feels pretty romantic and relaxing. I would definitely return.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Canal City, so you can go shopping as soon as you step out. The service is fantastic, and everyone is very friendly. The bathroom has great water pressure, making for a very enjoyable bath experience.

It's a resort-style hotel. It feels very comfortable. The room is large enough, the view is open, and it has a balcony. The balcony is also equipped with a sofa and mosquito killer lamp. The bathroom has a massage pool big enough for two people.

The room was quite spacious, as it's a hotel-style apartment, which is a bit different from a regular hotel. There was a Chinese-speaking assistant at the front desk, so communication was no problem. I didn't see any non-smoking rooms when I booked, so I'm not sure if they were fully booked, but for a non-smoker, a smoking room really reeks, and they don't seem to do any smoke treatment. The decor is a bit old-fashioned, with no smart features, but it was an experience to see that 'old money' style. The parking lot next door is quite expensive, around 1500-1600 yen a day, but you can enter and exit freely. You might find cheaper parking a bit further away. It's very close to the Fukuoka Urban Expressway, right after you exit. Nishijin Station is about a ten-minute walk, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options around there.

When I booked, Trip.com recommended this hotel as the number one in Fukuoka for food, so I didn't hesitate to book it. However, when it came to breakfast, I was truly disappointed and felt quite let down: ① The coffee was the worst I've had in any hotel in Japan. ② There was a lack of substantial dishes; only one salmon dish could be considered so, but it tasted really bad. ③ Almost all the dishes were unappetizing. ④ The room facilities were not as good as those in a decent business hotel back home (China). ⑤ The hotel policy stated free parking when I booked, but I was charged 2000 yen per day at check-out. Due to the language barrier, I couldn't get a clear explanation. ⑥ The room lighting was dim and very uncomfortable. However, the hotel's location is indeed excellent, with full sea views and convenient transportation. The experience might be better if staying in the summer.
