"Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Okura. Hands down the best Jap hotel we've stayed! Staff were incredibly polite, and we loved how the room was spacious and all the amenities were readily available - even comfy bedroom slippers, face towels (yes face towels, which are very uncommon in jap hotels) and 2 hairdryers. The bathroom had ample space for me to place me skincare and makeup products, and the toothpaste tasted good (I personally didn't like many other toothpastes in other jap hotels). Mugs for rinsing mouths were also made of ceramic with nice floral designs. There were enough hooks in the bathroom to place our dirty and clean clothes as well. Loved the blackout curtains and also that the toilet light doesn't flood the entire room with light (common in jap hotels), so my hubby could continue sleeping whilst I got ready for the day. Staff were also polite and greeted us each time we walked past, brought our luggage up to our hotel room, and facilitated a seamless check-in and check-out process. 2 bottles of fresh-tasting 550ml mineral water were also provided daily."

"Strange hotel / apartment, it’s very large and spacious but not much to fill the space and doesn’t have a very homely or comfy vibe. Rooms were clean though and there was everything you needed from an apartment. Staff at reception were very welcoming but didn’t seem to have the same urgency to help as other places I’ve visited in Japan. The location was fantastic for our sightseeing and sporting needs. We had a short walk to the Fukuoka Dome to watch baseball and short walks to other sightseeing spots, including the beach. Public transport was also very close by and convenient."

Kkwok himI recently had the pleasure of staying at Munakata Resort Hotel during my visit to Munakata, Fukuoka, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. This charming hotel surpassed my expectations in every aspect, offering a serene atmosphere, impeccable service, and a memorable stay.
First and foremost, the location of Munakata Resort Hotel is simply idyllic. Situated at 651-2 Konominato, it provides a peaceful retreat surrounded by the natural beauty of Munakata. The hotel is nestled amidst lush greenery and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. It felt like a hidden oasis, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the attentive and friendly staff, who made me feel instantly at ease. Their genuine hospitality and personalized service left a lasting impression. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone went out of their way to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay.
The accommodation at Munakata Resort Hotel was exceptional. My room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and meticulously maintained. The comfortable bed and luxurious amenities provided a true sense of relaxation and indulgence. The attention to detail in room décor and amenities was evident, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance.
One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional dining experience at Munakata Resort Hotel. The on-site restaurant offered a culinary journey of authentic Japanese cuisine. The carefully crafted dishes showcased the freshest local ingredients and flavors unique to the region. Each meal was a gastronomic delight, beautifully presented and accompanied by attentive service. VV_TeoEarly check in was not possible but the room is spacious. The amenities in the room are great with a tea set, ironing board, shoe shine and spray that’s great for business travellers. The breakfast was a decent spread with a few nice ones like the Tonkotsu, soba. The onsen was also a highlight, the facilities are great with sauna and multiple shower corners for many people. The location is excellent, just next to the Hakata train station and there are a few pharmacy and convenience stores nearby. The overall ambient of the hotel is nice, clean, and peaceful.

SSelinda NgaiWe booked a 3-bed room for one night. The location was excellent—right next to the subway station—and the outlet was also nearby.
The reception staff were very helpful. In particular, the receptionist assisted us in booking a French restaurant. As you may know, Japan often requires reservations 1–2 days in advance, but she managed to secure a table for us on the same night.
The hotel also offered a special dinner set at each restaurant. We truly enjoyed the dinner set while watching the sunset and fireworks from the 28th floor. The food at the French restaurant was excellent.
Although I can’t remember the receptionist’s name, her attitude and assistance were greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
Lastly, the sauna and spa required an extra charge. My personal feeling is that the surcharge was a bit expensive for hotel guests. If Trip.com or the hotel could offer a bundle package including the room charge plus sauna & spa access, that would be wonderful.

GgoddonaldWe had a wonderful stay at Okura Hotel Fukuoka! The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, and their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The amenities were well-prepared and of great quality, and the housekeeping team was very thoughtful and attentive. The hotel has a gym, sauna, and swimming pool — entry requires an additional fee, but the pricing is reasonable.
We came to celebrate my dad’s birthday. Although no special decorations could be arranged, the hotel kindly prepared some birthday cookies as a gesture, which was very sweet. This hotel will definitely be my top choice whenever I visit Fukuoka again.
這次入住福岡大倉酒店的體驗非常棒！工作人員友善熱情，貼心的服務讓人有種回到家的感覺。酒店的設施準備周全、品質優良，客房清潔服務也非常細心周到。酒店設有健身室、桑拿和游泳池，使用需要額外收費，但價格合理。
這次是為了替父親慶祝生日而入住，雖然無法安排特別佈置，但酒店仍貼心準備了生日曲奇作為心意，讓人倍感溫暖。這家酒店一定會是我下次來福岡時的首選！

GGuest UserExcellent location, many restaurants and shopping centers around. Underground connection to metro which is definitely an advantage. However, the amenities is disappointing. Wellness centre including gym, swimming pool, sauna cost additional fee ¥4400 per day per person. I overlooked this charge when I booked the hotel which I think is just normal for a 4/5 stars hotel to provide these facilities to hotel guest at no additional cost. End up quite disappointing. I searched other similar grade hotels in the area, none of them charge extra for fitness centre. I consider fitness centre is very basic amenities for a 4/5 star hotel, so if this cost extra, there isn’t any amenities at all.
Given the room rates they charge, I would not recommend this hotel.

FFlightSeekerThis is a perfect getaway hotel resort, highly recommended for couples only. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I would only recommend staying here if you’re driving as I find it more convenient to get to other dining places which are mostly nearer to the city area. The resort provides free parking onsite. This is a spectacular stay. It’s quiet and feels almost like we’re staying alone in the whole resort, it might be due to the low-peak winter season when I visit. The sea view is gorgeous! The room comes with a jacuzzi tub with ambient lights perfect for a couple’s pleasant night vibe. The staff allows us to bring the drinks up to our room, so it’s perfect with the jacuzzi. The room is also spacious, accompanied by a balcony facing the seas. Amenities provided were top-notched, with Bvlgari body soaps, shampoo and lotion, along with Reva Hairdryer. The resort seems like a very beautiful wedding venue by the seas, so it feels pretty romantic and relaxing. I would definitely return.

AAnonymous UserIt's a resort-style hotel. It feels very comfortable. The room is large enough, the view is open, and it has a balcony. The balcony is also equipped with a sofa and mosquito killer lamp. The bathroom has a massage pool big enough for two people.

AAnonymous UserWhen I booked, Trip.com recommended this hotel as the number one in Fukuoka for food, so I didn't hesitate to book it. However, when it came to breakfast, I was truly disappointed and felt quite let down:
① The coffee was the worst I've had in any hotel in Japan.
② There was a lack of substantial dishes; only one salmon dish could be considered so, but it tasted really bad.
③ Almost all the dishes were unappetizing.
④ The room facilities were not as good as those in a decent business hotel back home (China).
⑤ The hotel policy stated free parking when I booked, but I was charged 2000 yen per day at check-out. Due to the language barrier, I couldn't get a clear explanation.
⑥ The room lighting was dim and very uncomfortable.
However, the hotel's location is indeed excellent, with full sea views and convenient transportation. The experience might be better if staying in the summer.

GGuest UserThe environment is beautiful and the room is spacious and lovely. It's not really a front desk, more like an apartment check-in, but the cleanliness really isn't great. The bed could be moved, and underneath it was full of dust. The sheets had black spots, and the shower curtain had severe mold when pulled down, which was unpleasant to look at. I recommend booking in advance; last-minute bookings are almost impossible and very expensive. From the airport, you need to transfer to a bus after taking the subway, so transportation isn't super convenient. If it's too late, a private car is your best bet. However, the scenery is truly stunning. Be aware that convenience stores and restaurants close after 7 PM, but there's a great restaurant downstairs with excellent food and views.
