"Facilities: A bit old. The room decor was decent, but the whole hotel felt dated, and the floors creaked.
Cleanliness: Okay. The bedding had some black marks.
Ambiance: The sea view room was beautiful with three large windows and high ceilings. I was told this room had the best sea view, but it was located above the restaurant, so there was some restaurant music noise.
Service: The hotel was quite busy. We had to queue for breakfast, and there was a long wait for check-in and at the front desk. Initially, I asked front desk agent A twice, but the room wasn't ready. Another front desk agent, B, was much nicer and gave us two bar drink vouchers because we had waited so long.
Location: Very close to the beach, about a 5-minute walk. There are stairs down and a cliff lift, but the lift costs a few pounds per ride – I can't quite remember the exact price.
Restaurant: It's a French restaurant. The escargots were delicious, and the view was great."

O recém-reformado Christchurch Harbour Spa conta com piscina coberta, sauna, banho turco, piscina de hidroterapia e salas de tratamento. Há também uma academia totalmente equipada.
Instalado em um impressionante edifício vitoriano, o Christchurch Hotel fica a apenas 20 minutos do centro de Bournemouth. O belíssimo porto de Christchurch oferece balsas para as ilhas do porto de Poole, e o clube de golfe Two Riversmeet fica a 5 minutos de carro.
"We had a 3 day stay at the Harbour Hotel in Christchurch.
We ate dinner there twice - once at ”The Upper Deck” and once at ”The Jetty”. Both meals were excellent: we had lovely tables, the food was great and the service made us feel special. The experience at breakfast was the same, with attentive service from all the staff and great food served on the open veranda.
Although we were using the hotel as a base for our walks around the area, we also used the spa which was well maintained and had all the facilities you could want.
We did have an issue with our assigned room which was not as ordered from Trip.com. Although the reception team reconfirmed they had allocated the room accurately based on what Trip.com had ordered for us, the Cherry the reception manager took it on herself to compensate us for the mismatch.
From start to finish the service at The Harbour was outstanding. All the staff that served us in reception, the bar, the restaurants and the spa were helpful, efficient and friendly. Although our room was smaller than we'd ordered, it was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable.
All in all, this was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in, this in no small part due to the professionalism and caring attitude of the staff team. We will return ! "

"Have always wanted to stay here. Sadly it's very dated in places. The first room I checked into was cold, it appeared that the heating was not working. Was offered blankets or change rooms. Opted to change room. 2nd room was unbearably hot but felt I couldn't complain again. Only one of the two small windows opened and the radiator had no controls to turn it down.
The reception gave me no directions to get to either room location the hotel is a maze.
Door staff on security were good and welcoming when getting back early in the morning and this was reassuring. Reception staff on check out were kind and happy to store our bags in the luggage room while we wandered round Bournemouth. For less than £50 for a Saturday night hotel it was as I expected."

"We specifically booked this hotel for our anniversary and they decorated the bed with petals which was a nice touch. The hotel itself was very nice but the rooms were a bit outdated and the toilet was dirty. There were quite a few downsides which did ruin our short stay. We booked this hotel specifically for the spa facilities mainly the jacuzzi pool but this was out of order before we got there and we were not informed of this otherwise we would’ve booked elsewhere and it wasn’t fixed for our entire stay. Swimming pool was decent but not the cleanest as i felt dirt on pool floor.
On our last night we ran out of water and my wife is pregnant so i went to the night porter and asked for a bottle of water which they provide complimentary daily but he said he couldn't give me one and he could sell one from the bar, which i found ridiculous. The room didnt have a fridge so we couldnt buy any water and keep it cool.
Parking was £10 a day which I believe should be included in the stay.
Hotel staff were friendly other than that but I would probably look elsewhere next time. For the price we paid I did expect a lot more from the hotel."

"Stunning hotel, great location. Everything was fantastic. Small thing is room 109 has a small frosted window with no view. When opening it opens to a dirty mucky roof. We did not leave it open as vermin might enter the room. We also mentioned it was a 40th bday but no extras not even a note."

"The hotel was lovely. Room was very clean. The pool area was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was expensive for what it was. The only negative thing I will say is that we were in the annex not the main hotel and the main doors and lift were out of order. Apart from that our stay was very nice."

GGuest UserI recently stayed at The Bath Hotel Beaumont from 25th to 26th April, where we had booked two standard rooms with windows. Unfortunately, the experience was quite inconsistent.
One of the rooms was very good, clean, and comfortable. However, the second room was extremely disappointing and in poor condition. It was significantly below expectations, especially considering both rooms were booked under the same category. I would strongly advise avoiding the smaller standard rooms, as the quality seems to vary greatly.
On a positive note, the hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient. The spa and swimming pool facilities are also good; however, it should be clearly noted that these come at an additional cost per person, which is not communicated transparently at the time of booking.
Parking is available but costs around £25 per day. Unfortunately, the service associated with this was very poor. Our car was parked under a tree and was left covered in bird droppings. When we raised this concern, the staff were unhelpful and stated they did not have the manpower to clean it. Instead, we were given cleaning supplies and expected to clean the car ourselves, which is highly unprofessional given the price charged.
Additionally, the valet service was unreliable. On multiple occasions, we had to wait 15–20 minutes for our car, and twice we ended up retrieving it ourselves after being told to wait. This defeats the purpose of a paid valet service.
The staff, particularly at reception, came across as rude and unprofessional, especially when handling complaints. For a hotel of this standard, the lack of basic service, including room service or an efficient call service, was surprising.
Overall, while the location and some facilities are good, the inconsistency in room quality and poor customer service significantly impacted our stay. I would not recommend this hotel unless improvements are made.

GGuest UserThe hotel is undergoing refurbishment. We had a family room which was beautifully decorated, the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. We used the pool which is quite dated and small for the size of hotel but a nice bonus. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. We will definitely will be back again.
The hotel has a lot of families staying there, would be nice to do a early evening disco/ something for the children to make use of the empty bar area

AAnonymous UserGreat location with parking space, which is quite luxury in Bournemouth at this popular season. We were arranged a large room next to the road. However, the night club was so annoying in the evening. After complaining, the staff immediately changed a quieter room. The high ceiling in the guest room is a good selling point. However, the swimming pool is a bit tiny and close too early at 8:00.
Over all, it meets our expectations.

Wonderful, original metal-framed window and French door opening out onto huge balcony. Unfortunately, the sea view tuned out to be when looking left from the end of the balcony and not from the actual bedroom. Kettle needed descaling. Bathroom well appointed, nice towels and quality Elemis toiletries, but would benefit from a really thorough deep clean and a lick of paint.
Absolutely fabulous public rooms, not ‘dated’, as some reviews suggest, but furniture and fixtures appropriately in keeping with the style and period of the building. Wonderful!
Beautiful outdoor pool area and indoor spa. Lots of outdoor seating areas. Extensive woodland to the rear of the hotel. Just a few minutes walk to Knoll Beach, through the hotel’s extensive grounds (which includes tennis courts and a golf course) just over the road. Absolutely no information provided about any of these brilliant amenities, or indeed anything at all, in our bedroom. Also, no information about Wi-Fi, no information about breakfast times, no information about how to even contact Reception on the telephone provided in the room …
The food at the evening meal was exceptional but was let down by the very slow service as staff focused on setting tables for the following day’s breakfast - which turned out to be so disappointing that it was hard to believe that both meals had originated from the same kitchen.

GGuest UserThis was our second visit to this hotel, we have unfortunately had the same experience twice. The hotel itself is lovely with great facilities. Rooms are lovely, Beds are huge and extremely comfy. Fluffy, luxury towels. The Pool area and pool are lovely, feel like you are abroad on a hot day. Although it is a fight for a Sun lounger. However it’s completely let down by the staff. The bar staffs attitude was appalling, it was an inconvenience for them to get our drinks each time. We had a Roast dinner at Old Harry Rocks - staff were much better in there and v accommodating, although I do believe this this a separate company to the hotel and it shows. Beef was tough in parts but still nice. Pork was lovely. On booking, breakfast is charged at £22 at but in the hotel it’s £15 so don’t fall into that trap. The staff had no idea what they were doing. They first couldn’t get our drinks order right, then they messed up our simple breakfast order. Some of us nearly finishing our breakfast before others even got their meal. The breakfast itself was very small, we were also only given half a mushroom?? For £22/£15 I would at least expect to have a whole Mushroom…
They then didn’t know how to use the card machine..
Before we left we used the Spa, small but nice. Sauna was closed & pool was freezing. Hot Tub also wasn’t very warm.
Overall it was not a great experience, we will not be returning. To pay £260 minimum for a room for extremely poor service is criminal.

Next day in the morning was coming to have breakfast with kids at 9:40 apparently too late. Went back to the reception they said oh sorry it’s open till 10 am on weekends. Left with 2 kids without breakfast and no complimentary was offered considering misleading information from the receptionist on check in. We travelled on hottest day by train with delayed service 4 hours to get here. Also, felt intimidated by pool staff teice on 2 different days asking me who I am and are we were guests ?:( seriously? Did they think I just walked in randomly from the street? Shocking! Me and my two kids felt unwelcome and placed in embarrassment in front of others because I had to verify that I am guest and I had paid to be here:( that’s not 4 stars customer service! I travel around the world but here felt either ****** or discrimination not sure what it was felt odd. Had to book another hotel because didn’t like the whole experience and attitude from the staff! Also their spa and indoor pool is actually in the other hotel next by. Which was odd we never made as didn’t want to move around from one building to another for spa. Receptionist were abrupt and couldn’t be bothered to spare simple smile. Not happy at all.
Bathrooms shower it terrible no power couldn’t even wash my hair off the soap. Basically not recommend due to these issues I had experienced.

GGuest UserI had read the reviews so I was not expecting much. All the staff appear to work really hard. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is really grubby and in much need of new carpets, redecoration and maintenance. (Sorry you maintenance guys, it might be a case of not enough hours in a day). Its NOT good enough to say ”there is only one pump” when no water comes out of the shower and then its brown for several minutes! I believe the pool is a new addition but why let the weeds grow up around it? The room was disappointing, my clothes hangers kept falling out of the holes and my clothes were then laying in the bottom of the wardrobe. I requested some hangers from reception, but no hangers existed? It was recommended that I book a table for dinner, I opted for 7pm and the steak. Forty minutes later it was still being chased up! Chatting around the pool it appears two people can stay for £80 per night but I was charged £133 with breakfast. Breakfast was buffet style and barely warm. I visited the hotels in the group and they are by far better. I will not recommend this hotel or stay again!

KKako RiderI'm giving 5 stars based on the staff's behavior and the cleanliness of the room.
The staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful. My room was clean, as was the bathroom, the bed, and the room in general.
I'm not the type of person who wastes time checking under the bed, behind the bedside table, or the TV.
The room was clean, period.
People often complain that the hotel is old, but you get what you pay for. It's not a 5-star hotel, otherwise I would pay much more for the room.
My only complaint is about the guests. Some people don't know how to behave in a hotel and still think they're at home.
The rooms aren't soundproof, and everyone notices this when they hear someone talking loudly in the next room.
That being said, people should be more respectful and not behave as if they were at home.
It's not the hotel's fault, but the lack of respect people have for each other. I had no problems in my room. Some guests shouted, spoke loudly, or banged on doors, which, thankfully, didn't happen every day. But, should any problem arise, my rating would be based on how the staff handled the issue, not on the problem itself, since problems happen in any hotel, even the most expensive ones.
Definitely I will go back and I bet they still remember me 😊

GGuest UserWe recently stayed here as a family of four and found the superior room much smaller than expected. It felt quite cramped for a family, and the bathroom was also very small.
The hotel is quite expensive for what it offers. The regular price is around £230 per night, which I don't think is good value. I booked it on a deal for £170, but even at that price, it still felt overpriced.
Another disappointment was the air conditioning. Even when set to the lowest temperature (16°C), the room never became properly cold. On top of that, we were constantly disturbed by heavy footsteps from the room above, waking us up every couple of hours around 12am, 2am, 4am, and 6am, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. No fridge at the same time which other hotels cheaper have.
We also had an issue with the toilet, which wouldn’t flush throughout our stay. This was a major inconvenience and should have been fixed promptly.
On the positive side, the front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The swimming pool was also clean and well maintained.
Overall, while the service and pool were good, the small room, tiny bathroom, ineffective air conditioning, noise issues, and high price made the stay disappointing.

Ssimoooon01Big room and accessible bathroom there is a very retro lovely charm here which is like of timeless but not in a bad way . The Internet was very good as were the facilities in the room . The only thing I would say was the bar soft drink was relatively expensive but it was just that you tasteless like it had been watered down too much
