Seriously, since I started traveling in 2018, I've never encountered a hotel with such amazing service. The front desk lady was incredibly helpful, not only giving me great directions when I was lost but also recommending delicious local food, fun attractions, and even telling me where to see the Leshan Giant Buddha, checking the weather, and advising on where to book tickets. This level of service is the best I've seen in all my years of traveling. It's one of the few hotels that makes me want to come back again and again after my first stay. Highly recommended!

The ladies at the reception are all great, welcoming us with a smile & served us well, explained everything so well. Really appreciate that some of them speaks English, as we’ve problem with other hotels in smaller towns. Will be staying there again on our next trip for sure. Great view from our room too. Thank you for the good service.

Service quality: The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the staff is polite and helpful, and the stay experience is very pleasant. Especially Angela, the front desk manager on duty, is very professional and enthusiastic! Makes people feel at home. Hygiene conditions: The room is clean and new, the bed is soft and comfortable, the bathroom is clean and odorless, and the overall hygiene conditions are satisfactory. Geographical location: The hotel has a superior location, convenient transportation, and abundant dining and shopping options around it, making travel very convenient. Dining experience: The breakfast is rich in variety, a combination of Chinese and Western, and tastes delicious, adding a lot of color to the trip. Cost-effectiveness: The price is reasonable, the cost-effectiveness is high, and the services and facilities enjoyed are far beyond expectations, which is highly recommended. Detail processing: The hotel is very attentive in detail processing, such as providing Yilin specialty cookies, free mineral water, bathtub sets, various supplies, and robots delivering things, which makes people feel intimate. Room facilities: The details of the intelligent control system in the guest room, the dry and wet separation bathroom, high-quality bedding, etc., make the comfort level full. The gym, swimming pool, conference room and other supporting facilities are complete to meet the dual needs of business and leisure. Soundproof materials and advanced equipment, high-speed wireless network are used to ensure living comfort. Overall experience: The stay experience is excellent. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, this hotel is the best choice. I look forward to staying again.

The hotel is tucked away in a lively area, yet offers a peaceful retreat. We stayed in a suite on the third floor, which was very spacious with beautiful views from the window. The service was excellent; every staff member was friendly, and anything we needed was delivered incredibly fast. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were great, and having a Starbucks option was a nice bonus. The only issue we encountered was related to the bedding. The hotel thoughtfully provided three sets of toiletries and slippers, anticipating that most suite guests would be families. However, there was only one 1.8-meter bed, which wasn't suitable for sleeping with a young child. We had to request an extra bed, but the mattress was uncomfortable. When we brought this to the hotel's attention, they responded very promptly and handled it exceptionally well, which we greatly appreciated. A special thank you to the two front desk managers (one male, one female – I was in too much of a hurry to catch their names). I hope the hotel can improve on this aspect in the future. Since they already expect families in suites, it would be ideal to provide a small sofa bed. We wouldn't mind paying an extra bed fee, but the mattress should be comfortable to avoid impacting the overall stay experience. The hotel also offered a complimentary travel photoshoot, with three free prints. Both the makeup artist and photographer were professional and friendly. We were on a tight schedule, so they finished everything within two hours, and we were very happy with the photos. We ended up purchasing a package to take home. I highly recommend it to anyone with more time during their stay.

The hotel is located at the foot of Mount Emei, just a 10-minute walk to the tourist center for the shuttle bus, and very convenient for accessing the main food street. There are plenty of great restaurants with thousands of reviews nearby, and the average prices are quite affordable, which I really liked. The hotel environment is beautiful, with a standard swimming pool, an indoor hot spring pool, and two outdoor hot spring pools – perfect for relaxing after a hike! The rooms are quite spacious, though a bit damp; running the air conditioning more might help improve this. The breakfast was abundant, but it lacked some thoughtfully prepared hot meat dishes. For several days, it was just fried chicken cutlets or roasted chicken. Other hot dishes were mostly vegetarian. Customers can definitely tell if a breakfast is genuinely well-prepared or just using quantity to make up for quality. The bread and desserts in the pastry section were quite varied, though!

This hotel is located within the ancient city walls, making it convenient for getting around while still being quiet despite the bustling surroundings. The room was clean and well-maintained. Although it wasn't quite cold enough for the underfloor heating to be on, the staff promptly provided a heater at our request, making the room perfectly warm and comfortable. The hotel's decor has an antique charm, with beautifully arranged ornaments and harmonious color schemes, showing a lot of care in its design. Even just walking around the hotel felt very pleasant. The service was excellent; despite the lack of an elevator, staff helped carry our luggage to our room. The hotel also offered a complimentary custom-made breakfast, which could be refilled as needed. The food was delicious, featuring porridge, pickles, vegetables, eggs, and multigrain options, providing a balanced and nutritious meal with plenty of fiber and protein. Overall, considering the ambiance, value for money, and service, this hotel is an excellent choice.

The room is large and comfortable. I opened the ventilation air conditioner in advance. I put the slippers on the bedside and the bathroom door. The location is in place. The location should be a relatively high-end hotel. It is very luxurious from the hotel lobby. There is a small beautiful place to shop. There is a landscape garden behind for walking, and there is a single building for gym and swimming pool. I should live in a relatively low-end room type, there should be better administrative level, the price is very competitive, very cost-effective. There is a little oldschool, such as putting instant noodles in the water bar, providing some small price tags that have to be paid separately, the room is full of thick carpets, this setting seems to be a bit of a high-end hotel, When I checked out, the front desk asked me if I had any good suggestions for improvement. I was not embarrassed to say, but the flaws were not concealed. I said that it did not affect the experience of staying. The process of living was very comfortable.

We had a fantastic tranquil stay for 2 nights at this accommodation. The hosts are wonderful and show great hospitality to all their guests. They have offered rides in the area (for us a visit to the panda base was a must), organized a transfer, offered tea and coffee throughout the day and were available all the time. Our highlight was picking tea leaves with the family’s grandmother and preparing the tea with the family’s grandfather. The room and public places are cosy and well equipped. Our son loved the tree house in the backyard. The food was tasty and their menu offered us to try some local delicacies. Recommendation to everyone who wants to stay in the area around Ya’an.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and well-equipped with excellent facilities, including very warm floor heating, and it's spotlessly clean. The hot springs are right downstairs, and on Saturday nights, there's even Guozhuang dance. It's very close to Bipenggou Scenic Area, and the hotel offers free shuttle service, which is very nice. The restaurant serves delicious à la carte dishes, and breakfast is abundant. All the staff are very enthusiastic. We stayed for two nights, and the front desk efficiently helped us resolve a few issues we had, which was great. The hotel is located by the river, and there's a glass skywalk that leads to the other side, where the owner keeps a pond full of sturgeon, which is quite a sight. I imagine sitting on the glass skywalk above the river in summer would be wonderfully cool and comfortable. The rooms also offer views of Mount Siguniang.

The hotel service was excellent. The front desk staff were all incredibly kind and accommodating, meeting every request we had. For our family trip, we received a complimentary upgrade to a themed family room, which made the kids very happy. The in-room washer-dryer combo was a huge plus. The kids' play area was very clean, and all the toys were well-maintained. For family-friendly hotels in Chengdu, Ascott is definitely the right choice! 👌
