Overall it's OK, but it really doesn't meet the five-star standard. It's relatively old, the location is good, the service is generally OK, but it doesn't meet the five-star standard. I stayed for 9 days, and the housekeeping sometimes knocked on the door at 9 or 10 in the morning. Fortunately, I was awake. I had to check out today. The housekeeping knocked on the door at 9 o'clock, but I was still asleep. Then I hung a sign at the door saying ”Do Not Disturb”. They knocked on the door again and asked what time to check out, but I had already told the front desk about the delayed check-out. I feel that their links are flawed. Some staff feel that they are enthusiastic and enthusiastic about their work, and they will answer questions in a timely manner, but some do feel that their attitude is casual. The lobby is well decorated, and the rooms are average.

Was pleasantly surprised by this hotel given some of the reviews. The room was clean and updated. It was equipped with a refrigerator and coffee pod machine. Bed was comfortable and there was lots of hot water to shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash was provided. No water was provided in the room but there is a water dispenser in the lobby to refill a water bottle (they should mention this at check-in). All the staff I interacted with were polite and helpful. My only complaint about the room is that the shower could have more water pressure, but it was sufficient for a shower. They do seem to take guest comfort seriously as I overhead a conversation about a guest who had been asked to leave because they were disturbing other guests. The hotel is located on the east side of the airport and they provide shuttle service. There was some traffic noise but we were not disturbed by the planes. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel as well as several others within a 5 to 10 minute walk. I would happily book this hotel again.

I really like the downtown area; it's quiet and safe. This hotel has an excellent location, very close to the 4, 5, R, and W subway lines, so I never worried about getting back late, which is a huge plus. Be prepared to wait for the elevator, though; there aren't many of them, and the building is quite tall. The front desk is on the second floor for check-in. For check-out, you can just drop your key card in the collection box by the door, which is very convenient. The air conditioning in the room was quite loud, so in winter, I'd suggest turning it off before bed.

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the bustling downtown area, making dining and sightseeing incredibly convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Empire State Building and Times Square, and the subway is easily accessible for trips to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Central Park. We arrived before check-in time, but the staff, seeing how tired we were, very kindly allowed us to check into our room early. This gesture brought a touch of warmth to us in a strange foreign environment. I hope to have the chance to stay here again next time.

The hotel is located on W 34th Street, right on bustling 8th Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. It offers pretty good value for money. The surrounding area is extremely lively, teeming with all sorts of New York City elements: diverse people, various smells (urine, sweat, perfume, and one particularly nauseating odor I can't quite pinpoint), and constant siren wails. Surprisingly, it gets relatively quiet at night. Funnily enough, overnight, by morning, the streets become surprisingly clean and tidy. Transportation in the area is very convenient; it's very close to both the train and bus stations. The Empire State Building and Macy's are also within walking distance. There's an Essen restaurant right at the corner, and their food is very reasonably priced. The hotel lobby isn't large. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, though they require a $200 deposit. There's a small lounge area where you can relax if you've checked out and have nowhere else to go; nobody bothers you. The room was clean and comfortable, equipped with all the necessary amenities. There's no complimentary bottled water, but you can get free water from the 6th floor; I didn't bother going, partly because it seemed like a hassle and partly because I suspected it might just be tap water. There were no slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, or a kettle, just a capsule coffee machine, which I didn't know how to operate. The bed was very high and too soft. There were four pillows, but no duvet cover; instead, the comforter was sandwiched between two flat sheets. I wonder if that's standard practice here.

The room was very nice for the money and the staff were superb in answering my questions. A staff member was outstanding in offering to lend an ice scrapper to scrap off ice on my car when I forgot to bring one. I would definitely stay at this location the next time I'm travelling the same route.

Marriott hotels are always our top choice when traveling. The location is excellent; we could see the Statue of Liberty from our room. It's super convenient to the subway station, and there are many restaurant options nearby. All in all, we were very satisfied.
