I stayed with my husband for 3 nights and it was a great experience. The resort has one of the most beautiful design, and an amazing view of the lake where we could see locals going on and about their days. The staffs were friendly and attentive. It is a peaceful and quiet place, ideal for a retreat and rest. Highly recommend!!

I was watching the Travellers YouTube and inspired the refugees around 15000 people are homeless and went there and it's very small village , walking around little over an hour and very early morning there is a market open in the middle of the town and I liked the steamed corns, lots of stuff was watched, the best thing was the own of hotels is very kind and friendly and room's not to big but clean and nice . Inle lake's reputation is famous to whole world and there's wineries tasty test is little money to injoy. Constantly go out because owner that let me used bikes because government prohibited rent motorcycle and enjoyed riding bikes around here and there . Enjo

It seems to be very good hotel in warm season - big cozy cottages, high ceilings, big windows, a lot of air and greenery surroundings. But there was cold season. Electric heater we ve got on reception just cant warm such a big room... have to move to another hotel. So pity, i loved this place...
Nice breakfast, great staff. Stay there, yes - but not in January.

Everything was nice. The only one thing I didn't like much is they booked ticket for me for awful bus. It costed 60000 kiyat for 330 km from Shwenyaung to Nyaung U. We were on the way 15 hours!!! Before I paid 45000 kiyat for 630 km from Yangon to Mandalay and it took 12 hours. It was a big mistake to book bus ticket in this hotel (((

MMakkiesHillock villa is walking distance to local market of Kalaw and close to the click tower. They serve an awesome breakfast in the garden if the weather allows! The beds are comfortable, and the room is spacious with one double and one single bed. The bathroom had a bathtub, but to take a shower was a bit hard as the shower hose was not very long for us tall foreigners 😉
Parking can be a challenge as the road is steep and the parking place is not big enough to easily turn your car.
We enjoyed our stay very much and for sure book again next time in Kalaw!

GGuest UserСледующим после Янгона нашим объектом стало озеро Инле в штате Шан. В Мьянме есть строго определенное число объектов, открытых для туристов, по ним и ездили. Аэропорт называется Хехо, дальше на такси нужно ехать до городка Ньоншуэ, который стоит на канале, впадающем в то самое озеро. Здесь отели двух типов: непосредственно на берегу озера стоит ряд спа-отелей (там поселили русскую группу, с которой мы через несколько дней столкнулись при вылете в Паган, и они жаловались, что их не выпускали из отеля, мол потеряетесь) и в самом городе, где жили и мы. В городке населения довольно мало, квадратно-гнездовая планировка, поэтому при всем желании там заблудиться очень сложно. Такси от аэропорта до города стоит у таксистов 45 тыс. местных денег (довольно дорого, 1,5 тыс рублей, езды 40 минут), отель предложил трансфер за 40, им мы и воспользовались и туда, и обратно. На въезде в город машина притормаживает у пункта, где с вас как туристов берут по 10 долларов за билеты на посещение озера (хозяин отеля посоветовал сразу сделать фото, если потерять или намочить билеты, фото в Мьянме легитимно), затем мы прибыли в отель, где у нас сразу изъяли багаж, принесли полотенца протереть руки и сок.
Отель в части сервиса выше всяких похвал: хозяин сразу спросил, чем планируем заняться, предложил на следующий день тур по озеру на лодке на целый день (60 тыс), потом поездку на такси в столицу штата Таунджи (75 тыс, там подъемы в две горы, сложная дорога), на третий день - отельные велосипеды и подробно показал маршрут прогулки. Когда спросили, где поменять деньги, сказал, что можем поменять сам, что и сделала - меняли у него два раза по 100 долларов по курсу 3000 за 1 доллар. Когда не смогли зарегиться на следующий рейс - пришли спросить у него, что делать, он сам позвонил в аэропорт и нас зарегили по телефону. В общем, отель рекомендую.
Номер просторный, тоже с высокой удобной кроватью, с новым ремонтом (жили на 3 этаже). Из 4 дней 3 мы жили там одни. Уборка каждый день. Расположение хорошее: улица тихая, через дорогу школа (было тихо, возможно, каникулы) и местный музей, до лодочного причала пешком минут 10. На соседней улице сразу нашли ресторан, где можно готовить на спиртовке шведский стол, ходили туда два дня, потом наигрались и ходили в ресторан через стенку от отеля (туда даже добивает отельный инет). До рынка тоже минут 10. Ну а храмы и прочее по всему городу в изобилии.
Завтрак с 7. Заметила следующее: когда мы были в отеле одни, то нам накрывали сразу на столе, в тот день, когда кроме нас в отелей было еще человек 6, сделали шведский стол. Выбор не очень большой, но мы наедались.
Если будете выходить гулять или поесть с наступлением темноты, настоятельно рекомендую средство от комаров, они тут сущие звери.

MMakkiesGolden Kalaw Inn is walking distance from the local market (every 5 days). The room is spacious and has 3 single beds and every thing you need. Beds are clean but a bit hard according to western standard. Only big towel is provided and no towel to dry your feet coming out of the shower. The internet is good and the manager made sure that there was power all the time.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

钟钟To be exact, this is a homestay with few rooms, but the environment is good and the service attitude is good. The waiters were all female and featured. We waited two or three hours in the lobby after checking out and left. The waiter helped us cut the papaya and avocado we bought twice for free and was very patient. The only drawback is that it is a bit far from where to eat in town. Free bicycles are provided.

XXiaorongThe location of the hotel is better. On the edge of Niangshui Town is the cruise ship pier. It is a bit noisy in the morning along the street. The room is very clean. Because it is built on the water, it is recommended to bring liquid mosquito coils to provide mosquito-repellent incense. But the mosquito-repellent incense is too old. It is worth mentioning that the breakfast is very rich. The manager of the restaurant is very enthusiastic. The English speaking staff is very fluent and very friendly. Be sure to experience it again next time.
