Always a good stay here at the Green Rich hotel, nice bath area for guests to enjoy and breakfast if your reservation includes it. One issue that I deal with is their branded shaving razors, they are extremely sharp and I got cut by them a few times. One was bad enough that it took off a whole layer of skin and I had to wear a bandaid on my chin for a couple days, so be very careful. (I have utilized many disposable razors before)

I visited Shin-Yamaguchi after a few days in Fukuoka. The weather was still cold, and it rained a little. From the station, just cross the street, and you’ll arrive at the hotel. It’s about a three-minute walk if you have luggage. Next to the hotel, there’s a 7-Eleven and many izakayas. The manager greeted me warmly, and the staff were extremely friendly. They would greet guests as they walked in, making me feel very welcome. Welcome drinks and coffee are available until midnight—I loved their lemon water! You can also use the library/cafeteria for work or reading, which is quite convenient. Amenities are placed on the first floor next to the elevator. Breakfast tickets are available, with multiple time slots to choose from. The room size is big for the price. The bathroom is compact, but I had no issues enjoying a bath. The only inconvenience was the lack of a remote control to adjust the air-conditioner’s wind direction. There are two washing machines and two dryers on the fourth floor, both of which can be connected via an app. If you don’t have coins, you can pay through the app with a credit card, and it will show a timer for when your laundry is done. The washing machine is easy to use, but the dryer took a bit long. Ice is also available on this floor. There are no complimentary bottled waters in the room, so I often went down to the first floor for lemon water and coffee. Breakfast was more abundant than I expected. Since this is a chain hotel, I didn’t expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised by the selection. The menu seemed to change daily, and I really enjoyed having breakfast here. Definitely worth the price. If I visit Yamaguchi again, I would definitely book this hotel!

Toyoko Inn Iwakuni is centrally located in Iwakuni. Exterior is very easy to recognise due to its iconic paintwork. It’s a new hotel so amenities and room feels very good. Bed is also comfortable. It was easy to get a good night rest. Highly recommended.

It was in a convenient location, close to the station and convenience stores. There is a parking fee, but it's convenient because you can park in front of the hotel. If the parking lot in front of the hotel is full, there seem to be other parking spaces available. The breakfast was also delicious.

JR car walk to the hotel is only 10~15 minutes, so easy to find. The main entrance is facing the traffic light. It has a 300-year history, so traditional style. In the lobby, you must change indoor slippers first, and when you go out, the waiter will immediately take out the guests' shoes to replace you. The whole building has been appreciated. Value, there is an orthodox Japanese garden, there are a lot of koi fish in the pool, and you can see the maple leaves. We can enjoy the garden on the terrace of our room. The bathroom in the room has a wooden bathtub. Dinner and breakfast are eaten in the room ... Our housekeeper is very professional, Also introduced a variety of food ... and free beer, Coke is provided. There is electric heating in the central location of the room, thick quilt and heating ... But leaving this fan will be very cold ... This is the old building. At that time, the technology was not so advanced. The hot spring pool is not big, but there are two in the wind. The room is unified into brown ✖️ beige and is a color that is healed from the time you enter. After all, it is noticeable at the moment you enter, so I was reminded that the color is important. The image of a business hotel is pure white and cool, and it is good to be clean, but I was able to sleep comfortably in a room with a warm atmosphere. In addition, there were white rice, shisawakame rice, bread and staple food for breakfast, and raw vegetables, simmered hijiki and oimono, and Japanese and Western dishes were selected, and it was very delicious to choose Japanese and Western on one plate. I especially liked the daily tea croissants and toaster that I refilled, and it was blissful to bake and eat. It was a pity that I couldn't eat the daily tile soba this time, but it is a repeat hotel that I want to go again. The large communal bath was also satisfactory. The locker and the wash basin are close, so I care when I change clothes, but I can check the congestion status on my mobile phone in advance, so I can search and go. I was impressed by the hotel now.

This hot spring hotel, while small, is well-equipped. The front desk staff was very friendly and the location is great, right in the heart of Yamaguchi Onsen, with many restaurants nearby. The onsen itself is also excellent. The only problem is that the rooms are a bit cramped, making it difficult to move around for families. However, the price is reasonable, and the service is excellent, so I'm very satisfied.

The hotel is about 30 minutes away from Miyajima, so I booked a hotel in Iwakuni instead of Miyajima to save money and see Kintai Bridge. Iwakuni Castle and Kintai Bridge are near the hotel, and I could see Kintai Bridge from my room, which was nice. There is a large bath and an open-air bath inside the hotel, so I think there are many things to enjoy. You can see Kintai Bridge and Iwakuni Castle from the open-air bath. Actually, there is not much to see, but I think the large bath alone is worth going. I originally booked a room with a mountain view, but I was given a room with a view of Kintai Bridge, which was even better. The staff are all friendly, so even if you don't speak Japanese, they will slowly teach you.
