"I had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Raia Hotel Alor Setar. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities provided. The bed was comfortable, and I had a good night’s rest after a long drive. The staff were friendly and efficient during check-in, and the overall environment felt safe and welcoming. The hotel’s location is also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and food options. Overall, a good value stay and I wouldn’t mind returning in the future."

"I had a very pleasant stay at Resort World Langkawi. The location is slightly away from the main tourist attractions, which makes it perfect for travellers who prefer a quieter and more relaxing environment. The receptionists and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful, and they were always willing to answer any questions I had during my stay. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel also provides free parking, which was very convenient since I had rented a car to explore the island. In terms of accessibility, the hotel is about 20 minutes from Langkawi International Airport and roughly a 10-minute drive to Pantai Cenang, making it easy to reach popular spots while still enjoying a peaceful stay. One thing to note is that there is only a single mini mart within the hotel and the prices are a bit on the higher side. On my first morning, I ordered breakfast through Grab instead, which was still convenient since delivery services can reach the hotel easily. The room floor had some visible stubborn stains and the hotel does not provide room slippers, so you may want to consider bringing your own if you prefer not to walk barefoot in the room. Overall, it’s still a good option for travellers looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in Langkawi, especially if you plan to drive around the island."

"A Beautiful Family Stay with Thoughtful Hospitality & Memorable Experiences We had a beautiful stay at PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort, where we booked a two-bedroom ocean-view suite and visited with our parents. From the thoughtful little details to the genuinely warm hospitality, there were many moments that made our stay special. It was my father’s birthday during our stay, and we had requested a special welcome for him when we checked in. The team went above and beyond with a personalised note, a tasteful balloon and paper birthday decorations on the bed, along with a vegan chocolate cake that was absolutely delicious — incredibly creamy and simply melted in our mouths. It was such a lovely surprise and a wonderful way to begin our stay. The entire team was very warm, supportive and accommodating throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach-facing pool, the beautiful beach and the breathtaking views around the resort. On our last day, both rooms in our suite had been thoughtfully prepared with a beautiful local flower tea setup on the beds along with pillow mists. These little touches really made us feel cared for. We also had a small unexpected situation on our last evening, and what stood out to us was not the situation itself, but the way the team handled it. The housekeeping team had inadvertently picked up my mother’s phone, and once the mix-up was realised, it was immediately handed over to the housekeeping manager. We were understandably quite taken aback initially, but the management handled the matter with genuine concern and gave us a very heartfelt apology. It was clear that it had been an honest mistake and that the team genuinely cared about how we felt. Fakhruddin, the housekeeping manager, went a step further and personally gave my father a lovely luxury bath and body set as an apology. We initially thought we wouldn't be able to carry it on our flight and had to leave it behind, but after reaching the airport and confirming that we could take it with us on our domestic flight, we called Fakhruddin. He personally arranged for someone to bring the gift pack all the way to the airport for us. That level of effort and personal involvement truly deserves appreciation. Beyond the resort itself, we also had some wonderful experiences nearby. The fire show by Budak Api Movement at Hidden Cafe, right next to the resort, was mesmerising. We simply walked down the beach at night and enjoyed the show — such a memorable experience. We also enjoyed a fine-dining experience at Lancava. The food was prepared fresh with so much care in the live open kitchen. We were asked about our dietary preferences right at the entrance, and within minutes we were seated at a beautifully set table and served exceptionally well-crafted vegetarian dishes. The attention to detail was wonderful. Breakfast at Cassia was also enjoyable, with a decent selection of vegetarian and vegan options. One area we feel could be improved, however, is the Indian food. Although there is a separate Indian food counter, we found that the dishes were quite far from authentic Indian flavours. For Indian guests, this could be disappointing, and we would definitely recommend expanding the Indian selection while also working on making the existing dishes more authentic. Overall, our stay was filled with beautiful moments, thoughtful surprises and genuinely caring hospitality. The resort has a wonderful location, beautiful views, great facilities and, most importantly, a team that clearly makes an effort to make guests feel special. We thoroughly enjoyed our family holiday at PARKROYAL Langkawi and would happily return."

"O tamanho do quarto era suficiente para nós três. Tudo bem, pois dormíamos à noite e saíamos durante o dia. (Depende do seu orçamento, preferência de quarto e do número de pessoas com quem você está; eles têm várias opções.) O bar da piscina era excelente; meu marido disse que eles têm uma vibração mediterrânea. Você pode nadar na piscina ou na praia enquanto bebe a qualquer hora do dia. "O check-in foi fácil, mas o quarto só estava disponível às 15h. pronto para morar, ou seja, tivemos que esperar 2 horas; os quartos são bastante simples (três estrelas), mas o complexo hoteleiro como um todo é excepcionalmente bonito e arquitetonicamente muito bem sucedido: maravilhosa piscina com hidromassagem, acesso direto à praia, que é de areia fina e espaçosa; espreguiçadeiras suficientes para todos, buffet de café da manhã boa média; jantar no quarto; muito bom, entregue rapidamente, tinha um gosto bom; Amigável para a família. Negativo: quartos barulhentos, a área da piscina é absurdamente limpa com sopradores de folhas extremamente barulhentos (ver foto) - num horário de manhã cedo em que muitos ainda estão dormindo (em vez de com vassouras, absolutamente proibido!); você não deve ser sensível ao ruído aqui. Na praia entre as 18h00 e as 19h30 um trator extremamente barulhento e fedorento (ver foto) corre na praia ao lado (não é da responsabilidade do hotel) para puxar os jet skis 15 m pela areia, algo totalmente diferente. sem máquinas). Caso contrário você poderá (!) desfrutar de um lindo pôr do sol à beira-mar. Toda a instalação é, como eu disse, muito bonita e bem conservada. A consciência ecológica (poluição atmosférica, ruído) merece uma nota de 5 a 6. Os quartos não são muito grandes, o mesmo se aplica à casa de banho e à varanda, mas devido à sua bela localização junto ao mar e às belas piscinas, a relação qualidade/preço é positiva."

"Primeira vez aqui hospedado neste resort com minha família, tivemos um momento agradável e maravilhoso. O serviço foi excelente, todos os funcionários são bons em maneiras e amigáveis. A limpeza do hotel e do quarto foi incrível. O serviço de buggy foi rápido e eficiente, eles também nos trouxeram para um passeio no hotel. O buffet de café da manhã tem muitas opções. Os funcionários da recepção não foram proativos em explicar informações importantes, como o horário de funcionamento da piscina, informações sobre o café da manhã e vagas de estacionamento.
