The hotel's hygiene is excellent, and the rooms are quite spacious, making it very family-friendly. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, and the main issue is that parking isn't free at the hotel's own lot. You have to park about a ten-minute walk away (though there's a hotel shuttle service). This is quite inconvenient when the weather is hot. Also, you absolutely cannot check in before 4:00 PM, so be aware of that if you're planning to go. The staff can come across as cold, lacking the usual warmth you'd expect from a theme park hotel. On the positive side, the park was not crowded, so there were hardly any queues, which made the kids happy, though the adults found it a bit boring 😌

Gyeongpo Lake and Gyeongpo Beach offer stunning scenery. The hotel staff are warm and friendly, the building is well-maintained, and the bedding is clean and comfortable. On the first and second floors of the hotel lobby, there's a BHC fried chicken restaurant and a convenience store, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. For sports enthusiasts, you can jog, walk, or cycle around Gyeongpo Lake, or easily walk to famous soft tofu soup restaurants nearby. Please note that the hotel does not provide toothbrushes, so you'll need to bring your own. For sunrise views, we recommend an Executive Ocean View room, while a Lake View room is best for sunsets. To check-in, you'll need to take a number and wait for your turn to be called on the screen at the front desk. There's a red coastal mini-bus right outside the hotel that goes directly to several popular attractions. You can check bus arrival times on Naver Map, or scan the QR code at the bus stop for real-time information. Taxis are readily available at Gangneung Station's exit, making it very convenient to get to the hotel if you have large luggage.

Are u planning to go or stay late at Legoland? This Hey Chuncheon hotel is a perfect place to stay for anyone to rest and relax. I liked comfortable bed and room and very affordable price. I was surprised by self zone an complimentary breakfast was offered. It was amazing place. I'd like to visit again and I will recommend to my friends ☺️

The place is good, 7 minutes to ski and has a supermarket and eatery place nearby. Honestly the room is nice, with cooking facilities but the owner was not friendly at all. The toilet was stuck and leak they came with only the plunger and ask us settle ourself. Is winter and we came with kids, the kids built a snowman and they destroyed the snowman after we went for ski trip. We are a group of 10 and we wanted to cook our dinner. There is a small hut with table and chair and BBQ facilities, we ask to BBQ facilities (We are willing to pay, 10,000 won as stated) but she said is winter so we can’t use the BBQ pit, ended up we use the stove to cook up the meat. The husband and wife came in to the huts and told us we can’t do BBQ but we explained to her we just cook the meat and we didn’t do any BBQ. We left the place with cleaner than we came in. I have to WhatsApp her and show her the place is cleaned. The warn us that we must left the place by 1am but in fact all of us finished eh 9.30pm every day since we are tired from Ski. During the last day, they came to us and I was thinking they come and say goodbye but they just make sure we throw every single piece of rubbish outside the house. My husband wear shoe and just step to take our luggage and the owner insist us to take out the shoe before we went in to the house. Although we have explained, we just step in and take the luggage and go, he insisted us to take out the shoes. I have been travelling all around the world and we do understand every cultural is different but as the operator of tourist industry, the owner has to be service minded. If you can’t accept any international travellers then please do not list your place in any platform or put up a notice that international tourist is not permitted to stay there and we won’t book accordingly. Is such a shame to see this happened to us after our 5th trip to Korea and our 3rd trip to Pyeongchang for ski.

Absolutely loved it! The female manager at the front desk was incredibly helpful, taking care of various requests and recommending great local restaurants. I really appreciated her assistance. The breakfast in the morning was also excellent.

I stayed for three nights, and the hotel's overall environment was excellent. There's a shuttle bus from Jeongdongjin Station to the hotel, but you need to book it in advance. A taxi ride would be around 30 RMB, which is the starting fare. There are two buildings, an old one and a new one, called Sun and Beach. The Sun building is on the hilltop, a bit older, and I guess some rooms might not have sea views, only garden views. The Beach building is new and all rooms face the sea directly. Hotel breakfast costs extra, and it's just average. There aren't many breakfast options nearby, so if you don't eat there, you can grab something at a coffee shop outside. Lunch and dinner are available for an additional cost; they're not too expensive, and the quality and taste are decent. There aren't many restaurants in the town, but the ones we tried with high ratings on Naver were all pretty good. I highly recommend visiting the Haslla Art World Museum nearby; it's definitely worth it.

This was a very pleasant place to stay before and after a hike in Seoraksan National Park. Lovely view from the balcony. Very clean and comfortable, and helpful staff! Very convenient location. The local bus to the national park is right across the street from the hotel, and the hotel is 10 minutes walk from the express bus terminal. I was pleasantly surprised by a washing machine in the room, which was great to clean my muddy clothes after my hike (you'll need your own laundry detergent). The room had a kitchenette with sink, hot plate, and full-size refrigerator and freezer. The only problem is there was no pot or pan to use on the hot plate, so I could not actually use it to warm my food (unless I would travel with my own pot)! It would be nice if the room provided a hair dryer and if the hotel had some breakfast option. The cafe downstairs offers only drinks, not food, and doesn't open until 11 a.m. The entryway light is motion activated, and there are many electronic buttons and panels around the room that emit light, so if you are sensitive to light while sleeping, you will have to cover your eyes with a sleep mask. Also note that it you close the sliding door between the bed and living area while the air conditioning is on, it will prevent the cold air from reaching the part of the room where the thermostat is located, so the air conditioner will remain on indefinitely, and the sleeping area will get very cold. The various panels for lights and temperature were a bit difficult to understand. English labels would be helpful. But the receptionist was helpful and came up to my room to show me how to use the air conditioning. The USB port on the nightstand worked some of the time and sometimes it didn't. I couldn't figure out if there was a switch or setting somewhere in the room to make it work, or if it was just malfunctioning.

It's located in the heart of the city, and I was very satisfied with everything, including the reasonable price, facilities, and cleanliness. If I ever return to Jeongseon, I will definitely stay there. Thank you.

I had a very comfortable stay for three nights in Gangneung, thanks to how clean and well-maintained the accommodation was. The breakfast was fairly simple, but more than enough to start the day, and I especially appreciated the sense of space, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and comfortable. Getting around was easy whether by bus or taxi, and the location made it convenient to visit nearby attractions like Ojukheon and Jungang Market. For those travelling by car, the spacious parking area is definitely a big plus. There’s also a lovely pine forest path just behind the property, perfect for a quiet stroll. The ocean view from the room really added to the holiday atmosphere, and being able to enjoy both the sunrise and sunset was one of the highlights of staying at Shilla Monogram.
