"I recently stayed at the Venice Waterworld Hotel in Shijiazhuang and, unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The hotel feels quite outdated and in need of renovation. The rooms were dark and old, with furnishings that seemed worn and tired. One of the biggest issues was the air conditioning—it was old and lacked a proper thermostat, making it difficult to regulate the temperature. Additionally, smoking is permitted throughout the hotel, which was a major downside for me as a non-smoker. The smell of tobacco was pervasive in the hallways and common areas, making the stay less comfortable. Breakfast lacked food for its guests. They were not being topped up according to the people who were in the restaurant. While the location may be convenient for some, the overall condition and policies of the hotel make it a poor choice for travelers who prefer clean, modern, and smoke-free accommodations. If I return to Shijiazhuang, I will definitely look for a different hotel. Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) – Below Average, Needs Improvement"

"We booked room 270. The window was large and open, offering a stunning sea view. Although the staff didn’t speak English, we communicated easily using a translation app — it wasn’t a problem at all. Everything was clean, and the room had smart features. There were convenient light and curtain controls right next to the bed, which made our stay even more comfortable. If you're planning a trip to the sea, this hotel has a truly luxurious view and a perfect location. It was both cozy and elegant. We're definitely ready to stay here again. Thank you!"

"An attractive hotel in a former imperial complex (a library or something like that) offering large, clean rooms. It's up on the side of a hill but taxis/rideshare will take you to the front door. Also it's very close to the town center and is a short ride to the temples that are of interest in Chengde. They have a decent breakfast at the onsite restaurant, and a dinner service featuring local dishes that are supposed to be similar to what an emperor might have eaten. So you can dine like an emperor, for a fee. The large deer roaming the grounds stare at your with the big, sad eyes, obviously looking for a handout, but don't fall for it as there's plenty of grass. There was some construction going on, seems the buildings are being refurbished, but it did not really interfere with our stay. Signs in English and English-speaking staff at the front desk."

"Wonderful stay – highly recommended! We stayed at this hotel as a group, and our experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The hotel staff were incredibly supportive, flexible, and always willing to help. They truly went the extra mile to accommodate our requests and assist us with every question that came up during our stay. We booked a standard apartment suite in the South Wing and a deluxe mountain-view room in the main building, and both were very clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety, and having it included for several people was very convenient. The ski package was perfectly organized — ski passes, fast-track access, early cable car boarding, transfers from Taizicheng High-Speed Railway Station, and additional activities like yoga and Pilates made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. As foreigners, we really appreciated how easy and welcoming everything felt. Thanks to the hotel team, skiing in China left us with a very positive and memorable impression. The location is excellent for skiing, and the mountain views are beautiful. Overall, the atmosphere was warm, professional, and friendly — we truly felt taken care of. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a ski trip or a comfortable stay in the area."

"Everting is good ,1st time I came into China as a Muslim business man, I found this hotel have HALAL food options in a breakfast as well, location near to all my required factories. One thing management need to focus on: 1- smoking is everywhere almost although they have displayed the sign ,”no smoking “ but no one care even hotel staff as well especially breakfast time staff also does smoking which gives me anxiety and sickness as a non smoker . In rooms people are smoking as well. It’s very good hotel but no following the rules non smoking . Next to the hotel is halal restaurant is available as well for lunch and dinner. Important thing they have prayer room as well."

"We came to dive with friends. The hotel is conveniently located; just take the elevator to the second floor to reach the dive shop. The room key is quite unique. The hotel is new, though there's still a slight smell of paint. The rooms are spacious with balconies, and the bedding is comfortable. The layout is smooth. Currently, there's no dedicated breakfast restaurant. The location is a bit out of the way, more like a development zone. It's very close to the old town; you can drive there for about 10 minutes to get to many restaurants."

"Como um hotel resort que apoia a estação de esqui Fulong, o Chongli Fulong Holiday Hotel tem uma localização superior. O hotel fica a pouco mais de 100 metros do centro de atendimento ao visitante da estação de esqui, por isso fica a uma curta caminhada de distância. O serviço no hotel é muito bom. Aconteceu que era 8 de março no dia seguinte. O hotel deu a cada deusa um leão de sobremesa especial, que era muito quente. Deixamos nossos pertences no hotel, então ligamos para o hotel dois dias depois, e a recepção rapidamente nos ajudou a encontrá-los e providenciou para devolvê-los. O atendimento é muito bom e merece elogios!"
