Overall Impression: This hotel feels more like a mix between a business hotel and a serviced apartment. It is a great functional choice, especially for those who are driving and need a comfortable place to stay for a night or two while on the move. Location & Accessibility 📍 Prime Spot: The hotel is located right on the main road, making it very easy to find. The Crowd: During my stay, most guests seemed to be locals or people attending events like weddings and parties nearby. Distance to City Center: It is about a 20-minute drive to downtown Brussels. However, be aware that there is currently a lot of road construction in the city, which can lead to heavy traffic. The Service & Check-in 🔑 Reception: There is a front desk, but it is staffed by only one person with limited hours (usually until around 20:00). Self Check-out: For check-out, it’s very convenient—you can simply drop your key card in the designated box and go. Housekeeping: Cleaning staff operate during standard office hours, so they are not available around the clock. Parking 🚗 On-site Parking: There is a large parking lot located at the back of the building. Cost: It costs €16 per day. I recommend registering your car at the counter during check-in so you can drive in and out as many times as you like. Food & Amenities 🍴 Meals: Please note that breakfast is not provided. There is a restaurant across the street, but its opening hours are inconsistent. Shopping: There is a large supermarket within walking distance (located in the nearby alley), which is very handy. In-Room Facilities: The room features a kitchenette with a microwave, perfect for preparing quick meals. Who is this hotel for? ✅ Best for: Business travelers, people looking for a ”stopover” while driving between cities, or those who need a functional place for a short-term stay. Not for: If you are looking for a luxury holiday vibe or a ”resort” experience, this might not be the right fit. It is designed for utility and convenience.

Good no nonsense hotel for catching a flight. They have a good airport drop service as well. Don't have great facilities - but is ok for a night stay.

The staff are really great. I mean, the facilities are quite wonderful but it was the service experience that I appreciated the most. And the breakfast - my goodness! I really enjoyed all of the food, and I did try just about everything during my stay. The bread and pastries were fantastic, the coffee was lovely. Lots of other nice stuff - cheese and so on. Really great. Also there is a nice little patio area outside which was perfect for having a relaxing breakfast in the fresh air and sunshine. Access: I arrived on a city bus from Brussels Airport. The airport bus area is a real nightmare currently (May 2026), so I don't recommend that right now. But after they fix the bus terminal, it would be a good option (if you don't have a lot of luggage). It is a short walk from the bus stop to Penta Hotel. I took a rideshare back to the airport when I left. The room was cozy and comfortable. The bathroom facilities were good. The bed was very comfortable, nice bedding and pillows. I slept very well. The A/C wasn't working well, but it was during the heat wave and everyone was having issues in the country at the time. So I think it's not surprising. The vibe of the hotel is really cool. It definitely worked for me, lots of neat design stuff and graphics and knick-nacks with a lot of character. It fit my taste very well and hopefully you would like it too. I didn't get a chance to use the pool table in the lobby but I'm going to make a point of it next time. In summary: a funky and comfortable place to stay, good value for the price, outstanding breakfast and amazing, friendly and courteous staff. Very happy I found this place. (Apparently it's a small chain, so I will look for them when I am travelling in other places)

Checked into Sleep & Go Brussels South. The room is spacious, and the small kitchen (fridge, hob, sink) is a genuine bonus. Perfect for a longer stay. Location works brilliantly when you're driving. Easy access off the ring road, free parking, and central Brussels is still close. For a road trip base, this is hard to beat. Unfortunately, the previous tenant smoked in the room despite clear non-smoking signs. The smell is faint but persistent—seeped into curtains or upholstery. Opening the window helps only so much. For non-smokers, this gets old fast. I genuinely appreciate the space and kitchen, and the car-friendly location is a win. But management needs to deep-clean rooms that violators have used. Five days here means that stale smoke becomes part of your routine, and not in a good way.

The hotel is conveniently located if you're heading to the airport and looks quite new. However, the first room I was given was faulty, and after switching rooms, the TV didn't work either. I was too tired to move again, so I just made do. The hotel service felt quite inconsistent. The airport shuttle costs 6 euros per person. When I checked in, the front desk staff was very nice and offered me a complimentary ride this time since I was staying for two nights. I wanted to confirm the time the next day, and he told me to just tell his colleague. However, when I spoke to the front desk staff the next noon, they seemed very unhappy and questioned who gave me the free ride. Both he and another female staff member were quite aggressive, telling me only he could offer free rides, not his colleagues, and that I had to pay 6 euros. I was really speechless. This is clearly an internal communication issue within the hotel, but this person's attitude made it seem like they were blaming me or thought I was making it up. In the end, he did give me the complimentary ride because of the issues with my room (I guess that's a silver lining?). Anyway, it was quite ridiculous. I confirmed where to wait for the car, and he told me to wait on the lobby sofa. The next morning, I waited on the sofa for 15 minutes ahead of time, but no one came, and when I asked the front desk, they said the car had already left. However, the front desk did call me a taxi in the end, which I found acceptable. Other aspects of the hotel were okay; the bed was large, the room was cool and clean, but the person on duty the next noon was really unfriendly. And it's absurd that the hotel's problems were shifted onto the guest.

The hotel is quite far from the city, but the train station is only about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. However, the transportation costs for commuting back and forth to the city add up quickly, so that is something to keep in mind. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. However, the shower floor is very slippery, so extra caution is needed. It is a large hotel with many travelers, so breakfast can get very busy. I would recommend going down around 7–8 AM; otherwise, it may be difficult to find enough food or even a place to sit.

We traveled with a car and need to go to Brussel Midi on next day to pick up someone. So the location is perfect! Only 10 min drive. And they offer secured parking in front of the building for free. Check-in only open for 4 hours. But the hotel and trip.com have clear introductions in advance, so it’s not an issue. Reception are friendly. Room has no AC but it cooled down after we opened the window. The only reason for low score is the bed and the pillow. There is some protection cover underneath the bed linen, which is hard and feels like plastic or PVC. It didn’t breathe. Lying on top of such thing, our back start to sweat. Our solution for this one night is to lie on top of the duvet, so we could stop sweating. The pillows were also not standard.. when touching it, the filling are little fluffy balls… something like a normal pillow filling after hundreds years the cotton or microfibres stick to each other forming those little balls. (See picture what was under pillow case) For one night stay it was basically okay. We all had shower (water pressure was brilliant). There was strong light outside our window. So we didn’t need to turn on room light.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, literally just 50 meters from the train station exit. However, housekeeping was quite disappointing, as my room still had takeout bags left behind by the previous guest.

The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are as expected, and it has its own garage. The breakfast was quite good. If you're driving, be sure to ask the hotel for directions within the city, as it's located in a no-car zone.

While the hotel facilities are a bit dated, they are very practical, catering more to business travelers with no excessive, ornate decorations. The original room design lacked enough power outlets, so they thoughtfully added more on one side of the bed, which I appreciate. The bed was not only the firmest I've experienced on this European trip, but the single bed was also quite wide. The bedside light switches were conveniently located and user-friendly. You can see the terminal right from the window, making it perfect for early morning flights.
