Me and my girlfriend got picked up at Congjiang train station which was very convenient. Right from the start the owners of the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The accomodation is located at the back of the village next to a field where they grow rapeseed flowers and rice during the year. For us the location was perfect as it is very peaceful and quiet but simultaneously litterally a few steps away from the beautiful vibrant little village. The room was very spacious and clean with a gorgeous view on the field. The interior is very well matched and has great facilities. There was even a small laundry machine so we could do some laundry ourselves. So far during our travels in China, this stay was the best we had! There is a very stylish and cute coffee/restaurant located on the first floor of the building. This is also where you will have a delicious breakfast and where Ni Li and her sister will greet you with a smile every time you walk by. Ni Li, her husband Tao Mingqing, her sister and brother played a crucial part during our stay as after the first night my wife got very sick due to an infection and barely left the room during our stay. The second night I got foodpoisoning which made the situation even worse. (Not from the hotel!). We ended up extending our stay due to her condition. Luckily Li's English is very good so that helped us a lot in navigating the medical difficulties. We were extremely lucky to be staying with Li and her family as they took care of us like we were their own family. Preparing custom meals and dinner tailored to our needs every single day, preparing us tea, calling the local doctors and translating and taking us to the local hospital back and forth multiple times. We were there during the Qingming festival so no cars were allowed in the village which made it more difficult to reach the hospital. This didn't stop Tao Mingqing as he took us to the local hospital several times on the motorbike, one by one! The last time I even forgot a bag and he even went back to get it for me! He truly is a legend. Fortunately, my recovery was fairly quickly so I had the chance to explore the village a little by myself and spend time with Li and Ming while staying close to the room for my girlfriend. On day 4 my girlfriend's fever was coming down and she improved a little. Li and Ming invited us to have tea with them. Ming showed me his vast collection of tea and made sure to prepare the best tea suitable for our condition. The tea was truly amazing and he ended up filling a big bag with different kinds of teas as a gift for us! And that was not it, to make sure we would never forget them and drink tea mindfully the Chinese way when we're back home, they gave us the tea cups we used traditionally decorated with the blue dragon and phoenix. It was a very stressful situation and when we felt at our most fragile, they were there to take care of us, strangers they just met. This says everything about these wonderful people. Even though the illness of my girlfriend and the rough situation, we think back to our stay with a very warm hearth as our special experience forged a bond we'll never forget. We are incredibly lucky to have met Li and her family. We have said thank you to them 100s of times already, but I can't express enough how grateful I am for this people. Thank you for taking care of us like your family!!! ＜3 If you are unsure about staying here, there is truly no reason why you shouldn't! Whatever the situation, Li and her family will do everything they can to improve your stay. I'm sure you'll have a blast!

The owner is incredibly kind. We arrived past 11 PM, and they were still waiting for us, picked us up, and helped us with our luggage. We were so touched! The guesthouse scenery is absolutely stunning; the back window overlooks a beautiful rice field. You can even eat meals at the restaurant under a parasol by the rice fields. The guesthouse breakfast is simple, refreshing, and delicious. They also offer free coffee that you can brew yourself. The room was clean, and all the amenities, including toiletries, were well-stocked. Many guesthouses don't provide hand soap, which is inconvenient, but this place had everything, even laundry detergent for delicates. The room was also very spacious. Absolutely fantastic! 👍

Okay so for anyone that need a great place for healing or just enjoying the peace, guys please come to zhenyuan 😭😭😭! 1. Location Okay to be honest this place is a little bit far from the railway station but who cares?!!!! ITS SOOOOO PRETTY AND AMAZING WITH THE MOUNTAINS AND RIVER VIEWWWW 😭😭😭😭 (I CANT MOVE ON FROM THIS PLACE) + So from the railway station,you can just ride a taxi or just give a chance to ride the wooden bus,it's soooo amazing hahahaha it's new to me,but its soo fun! (Check for the bus number 3 or 1 or 2) + The location is literally nearby the amazing cave so you can just chilling around while having a morning walk nearby! + For Muslims, I'm sorry but you really need to be redho as it's kinda hard to find halal food here,and our alternative is only by cooking eggs and eating bread and kiwis which is not bad tho! But you can find tons of seafood meal around the area(but both of us were too lazy to ask for the ingredients of the food so we just play safe and eat fruits(healthy diet haha) 2.Room Should I even say how amazing the view?!!!! It's sooooo nearby the famous bridge and night time? Oh god we even have a photoshoots at our balcony (cause the view is sooo crazy) + The room is sooo cozyy and the toilet have bidet! (Just someone come from a country that have bidet hahaha) + The balcony is everything! We had a sandwich and sipping some tea while looking at the amazing view,oh god it's sooo precious 3. Service!!!! + The laoban and his wife is soooo sweet😭😭😭 I want to cry! They are so helpful and his wife even gave us fruits to munch while we were walking huaaaaaa so sweet😭😭😭 love youuuu! + We arrived at the hotel and need to use the stair (we got the 3rd floor) but the laoban help us with our dang heavy luggage,so thankful!! + At our last day,he help to sent us to the nearby area and book a taxi for us,I'm so greatful for the help and kindness!

It was already late when we arrived at the Dong Village. A friend recommended this B&B to me. She said the owner was very nice. The B&B was inside the village and the environment was very nice and clean. When you book a room, they also give you clothes for taking photos and handmade cards. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry to go home and didn't have time to do any handicrafts.

The view from halfway up the mountain was absolutely stunning. Everyone at the guesthouse was incredibly kind, doing their best to meet guests' needs and offering various forms of assistance. Even though it was past mealtime when we checked in, they still cooked a single meal. For those of us who prefer a relaxed trip, we booked dinner at the guesthouse; it was home-style cooking, reasonably priced, and quite delicious. The kitchen was also visibly clean. Breakfast had a slightly limited selection, but they did have noodles, which were pretty good. Non-instant coffee could be ordered separately. Overall, it was perfect for a laid-back, relaxing vacation. Unfortunately, my itinerary was also quite relaxed and casual; I only stayed one night. I had already booked hotels for the following days, otherwise I really wanted to stay longer.

The kid 小李 is really helpful. At first I was given a room that was at the adjacent tower and it was under renovation and dark hall ways and stairs. I asked if there was any room in the main block. After feeling disappointed for. While in the room, about 20 mins later, Xiao li informed me he spoke to his boss and gave me an upgraded room on the third floor and we moved. It was a far better well lit, big room with two double beds and good lighting. The only setbacks is that the shower drain is slow and water overflows back into the room. Hot shower was great. There’s no lift but xiao li was very eager to help me carry both my cases. He was just awesome with his willingness and customer service. Final the projector acreen over hangs the toilet and show cubicles and the power cables were loosely overhanging. Seemed that something can be done to rectify those few matters and will definitely make the room so so much better. Location wise is perfect and there is also the direct bus services to the city and the railway station, at very cheap price.

The location is excellent, right at the No. 4 covered bridge, offering fantastic views, especially at night. You can take a sightseeing bus from the No. 1 covered bridge to the viewing platform, saving you the trouble of carrying your luggage up the mountain.

Thanks to Trip.com for this wonderful hotel. All of us (4 pax) LOVED this hotel. Very strategically located amongst food centers, shops and local activities. Views from this hotel is fantastic...accentuated by the river and lights at night. Again, our stays exceeded the HIGH 5 Star ratings.... Ms Chen, Manager of the hotel is EXTREMELY helpful and resourceful in giving valuable suggestions thus making our stay, a delightful vacation. Well done, Ms Chen, an original Miao native and her efficient team, Ms Wu and others. Wonderful staff, including housekeeping... Definitely, will recommend to visit Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village and staying at Xijiang Story Resort Hotel is a Super Plus advantage. Yuyetang is a fabulous guesthouse in the midle of the very traditional dong village. We booked the twin room with view and literally slept with views of the drum tower. The room is very clean and decorated lovely. The place is very well looked after and although the location is quite remote, the guesthouse provides a very good standard. The owners are a young couple that supported us in getting a taxi. When we arrived it was the last day of the national holiday and we were invited to join the family rice harvesting, fishing and doing a barbecue. To get there you can catch a public bus that leaves two times a day from Zhaoxing (25 yuan per person) or you get a taxi (one way 150yuan).

The inn is very characteristic of the northern Guizhou architectural style. It is a few minutes walk from the Shuanghe Valley scenic area. It is recommended to buy tickets at the front desk for discounts. You have to go to the hotel to exchange paper tickets for online ticket purchases. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be arranged in the hotel banquet hall. I like the noodles for breakfast. However, the closing time at 9:30 is a bit early. If you go at 8:30, there is basically nothing. The sound insulation of the house is a little poor. You can hear people talking up and down the stairs. In addition, the bathroom has a strong smell and the shower drains slowly. Please note that the room type recommendation map is not very accurate. You can use my video as a reference
