This is a hotel that impressed us during our trip to India. The service was very attentive, although it only lasted for one night. We went to TAKE A BOATRUDE FOR CEREMONY at 5:15 in the morning. The hotel arranged a boatman and waiter on time to guide us on the boat, and prepared the blanket very thoughtfully. It is hard to imagine how cold we would be without the blanket. Then we went to breakfast. A waiter provided us with services. Usually they started the meal at 7 am, but because we left the hotel at 7 am, they prepared some hot meals in advance, and they were very warm. Then on time, the boatman and PORTER took us on board and went to Baiqiao to meet our driver. They didn't leave until they put the boxes in the car. The key point came, the driver whispered, the hotel front desk started to call him at 5 o'clock in the morning, and constantly reminded him that he must wait for us early, for fear that we were delayed or could not find him. In fact, we didn't tell the hotel in advance, we needed them to remind the driver and so on. We just told the front desk that we were departing at 10 o'clock and we needed to depart from the hotel at 7 o'clock. Makes the hotel more nervous than us, afraid of being late and so on. The meticulous and perfect service exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this hotel, BRIRAMA PALACE VARANASI, WONDERFUL HOTEL!

After having originally opted for the basic deluxe double room., we found this to be small and so were shown the 'super room'. This was clean, spacious and cosy. The hot water and shower worked well and tooth paste was supplied after asking. The location is incredible for the price....entering the hotel will require a lot of hiking up narrow steel stair ways... but once you arrive you are right by the river for the evenings arti celebrations. It is about a 45 minute walk to a boat hire service. A 10 minute walk to the nearest road access so arrival during the day is advised. The owner is personable. funny and knoweldgable about local services. An incredible amount of work is done by Vishal who cooks amazing food. cleans and generally takes care of everything.

We traveled during Dev Deepavali (Karthik Purnima) when there is a very high rush in Varanasi. We traveled with parents and in laws and proximity to Dashashwamedh ghat was a must. We found this hotel while checking Google maps and booked directly with the hotel. The distance from the ghat would be less than 100 meters. We had food in the hotel and it was very good. They even provide non veg on special request. They can arrange boat rides and city tours, however, I would suggest everyone to check the prices independently before booking. One thing though, no cars are allowed post Gowdolia more, hence access from airport/station via car is limited to Gowdolia. From there, its either richshaw or on foot. The hotel was nice to send someone for pickup and he carried some of our luggage and guided us to the hotel. Overall, satisfied with the hospitality and would definitely recommend to people,

I had booked this hotel for one AC room (two bed) for Rs 1500/- for two days in Mar 2021 for self and wife. Hotel is providing misleading information to the visitors/tourists in ***y ways. No vehicle, even auto or rickshaw can reach to the hotel. One need to disembark from vehicle and walk for almost 500 m to 800m with luggage to reach the hotel. The lanes are very narrow and full of animals, garbage and poo. For an outsider it is very surprising and unwelcome scene. There was no breakfast facility in the hotel as it was claimed at hotel site forget about its being complimentary one. They want complete booking money advance, that was happily given, so far so good. One night AC did not work. Complaint was made but no repair and no refund for non availability of AC facility, and no complaint register, and no regrets either. Exhaust fan of toilet was not working and electric shock was felt in water tap, due to improper earthing. They were just not ready to listen the complaint as they had already received the money. The room furniture was in pathetic condition. Not even a hanger in the room. On the top the behaviour of the staff was atrocious and abusive. I am sure they must have indulged in such behaviour with tourists in the past. Wish my taxi had not been waiting at nearby Godaulia, I would have called Police or visited Police station to sort out these thugs. Never had such a awful experience in life in a city where I had studied 40 years back. May be time has changed. No staff was wearing even masks even corona pandemic was on.

This was my first time visiting Varanasi & we wanted to pre book our stay to avoid any hassles. After doing an extensive research on the Internet and speaking with various vendors we finally came across Baba Guest House. The owner Gopal Jha was extremely polite and helpful with sharing the right information and he also showed us the room via video call. Baba Guest House is conveniently located on Munshi Ghat and all major attractions like Dasashwamedh Ghat & Kashi Vishwanath temple are at walking distance. All the ghats in Varanasi are well connected and you can just walk by them by exiting the guest house. The rooms are clean and comfortable and as this is a family business we experienced a very friendly vibe and Gopal Ji and his family were amazing hosts. We celebrated Holi at the property as they had arranged a small event on their rooftop and it was the best Holi celebration ever. Great location, awesome Wi-Fi speed, safe and secure accommodation. There is a rooftop cafe called Aadha Aadha which serves a decent spread. We totally recommend staying at Baba Guest House for a comfortable and memorable experience in Varanasi.

The breakfast environment can see the Ganges, the breakfast is good, at least clean. Overall, it was very good, the room was clean, we were two people, and there were three single beds side by side in the room. The hotel is in a good location. When you are out of the room, you can see the Ganges on the platform. Look directly in the morning. The sunrise of Ganges, very beautiful! Hotel service is very good! Will come again next time!

Tesis, Varanasinin dar sokaklarında olduğu için tuk tuk, taxi içeri girmiyor ama endişelenmeyin tesisin genç beyi sizinle ilgilenir :) Tuk tuk sizi cadde üzerinde indiriyor ve tesisin konumunu bulmak biraz karışık sokaklar labirent gibi bu yüzden lütfen tesisten önceden yardım isteyin. Tesisin odaları temiz ve ortak banyoları var. Teras kafesinde dilediğiniz yemeği isteyebilirsiniz ve yemekleri çok güzel. Ghatlar yürüyerek 1-2 dakika mesafede, ganj nehri kıyısında ölü yakma törenlerini izlemek inanılmaz bir deneyimdi. her akşam ganj nehri kıyısında, ganj nehri tanrısı gangha için tören yapılıyor mutlaka katılmalısınız. Nehir boyunca birçok yerel satıcı görebilirsiniz, aynı za***da yerel pazar otele çok yakın. Tesis yetkilisi çok ilgili o aynı za***da sizin tüm biletlerinizi ayarlayabilir.
