The hotel location is very good. It's close to Taipei Main Station, making it easy to go anywhere. If you want to walk through the underground passage and exit right in front of the hotel, you can look for exits Z2 or Z4 (there's an elevator for luggage). If you're coming from anywhere, just find Zhongxiao West Road and look for exits Z2 or Z4. It's just across from Taipei Main Station, on level 7 of the Asiana Building. The hotel has a kettle, bidet, and is clean. If you stay more than three days, you can call for room cleaning services. There is family mart and coffee shop at the ground of the hotel.. at night there is also a small market in front of the building.. Overall i am comfortable and happy during our stayed..

Pros, A nice historical hotel with affordable and reasonable price. The baloncy is very big and the city view is nice. Room is clean and big as well. Cons, The only minor thing is you may need to wait for 20-30mins for the free shuttle bus. Shuttle bus is only available til 11pm, or you need to take the taxi to go to Metro station.

We booked the city view room, but honestly, the view was a bit disappointing. Maybe it's because we were only on the 2nd floor. But otherwise everything else was fine and the staff were really helpful. Breakfast was packed with a variety of food, none suited my taste but that's more of a me problem. Definitely recommend going a bit early as it tends to get more crowded later on for breakfast.

I chose this hotel with a reasonable price and the swimming pool. The staffs were very kind and helpful. There’s one nearby night market and the famous Longshan temple with 5minute walking distance. The overall area doesn’t seem so nice but close to the central areas and taking uber was very convenient. A decent size swimming pool was quite nice. There’s a water fountain but no bottled water provided. The convenient store is right next to the hotel though.

This is one of my favorite hotel during the trip. The boss is very kind and helpful, his staffs as well. I would stay more next time. Near train and really convenient for everything. To date, during my 4th visit to Taipei, this is by far the best hotel overall in terms of price, proximity, location and amenities. As for breakfast, I have no comments as I chose the stay without it. The hotel is just opposite the Taipei Main Station and it is super convenient if you are travelling a lot by Metro or HSR. The hotel basement is linked directly to the Taipei Main Station and you need not fret even on rainy days. On the basement level, you can access to a wide spread of Japanese restaurants and other eateries. Starbucks and Tim Ho Wan are within reach too. Behind the hotel, there are in fact a lot of small eateries and stalls. You might want to give it a try if you like to eat like a local! There are far too many food choices near this hotel. You will never go hungry. Hotel room cleanliness and amenities are good, nothing to fault. On the other side, noticed there is only 1 laundry washing machine and 1 dryer within the hotel which is very limited. Hope in time to come, there will be more as it is very convenient for long stay travellers' to have their laundry done here. Price is very reasonable too, 50 twd for washing and another 50 twd for drying. What a good deal! Just to highlight for amenities, you will have to get from the hotel counter as they do not provide inside the room, eg comb, shower cap, toothbrush and toothpaste etc. Overall, this is the hotel I fancy the most and I will definitely come back to stay in this hotel again in time to come!

Although the hotel is obviously a bit old, but is well maintained, especially how our room is kept cleaned daily, and necessities/toiletries are religiously replenished. The overall staff, especially those assigned in the reception area, are consistently helpful and courteous. The area, although near the busy commercials of Ximending, is peaceful. The breakfast buffet is beyond satisfactory, considering the variety of food selection. I would definitely go back if given the chance in the future, and would recommend the same to others.

There are two buildings and the one on Google is the one for more than one person's rooms. I wish it was an information I got before arriving so I didn't have to walk around, even though both are really close by. The other building only has a Chinese name on Google map - 西門星辰精典大飯店. Apart from that, my stay was very good! Room is nice, I didn't use the TV so I don't know about its quality. Aircon works wonder and the shower's pressure is top tier ! 🤣 We also got free hot drinks and I do love my hot chocolate from time to time. 😌 Window is useless though, it feels like you don't have one. Location is perfect. Not too far from the subway and some bus stops.

Our stay is really fantastic 🥰 all the staff are very accommodating, infact they gave my son a stuff toy and a rice cookie. I enjoy personally the sauna and jacuzzi, my husband enjoy the rich breakfast. And all our request are free like extra blanket. Will definitely stay here again.

Easy access to cafes and restaurants nearby. Convenient to ride on MRT connecting HRY &TAIWAN RAILS. Bus stops available in the vicinity of the hotel to catch buses for the scenery spots and shopping areas and famous night markets. Room is quite spacious and comfortable.
