Stayed at Chez Nous during our visit to Taipei. Ideal location in Da'an for all the key attractions: National Museum, Taipei 101, Meakong cable car, Chiang Kai-She memorial and Shilling Night Market (all accessible via the local metro station. Staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly and offered their help whenever we needed it. Breakfast in the hotel was excellent, different dishes every day but all with a ********* theme. The hotel also has the benefit of being located above an excellent cocktail bar - Weekend. Overall the perfect place to stay if you need a base close to the centre of Taipei.

星辰大飯店，台北 我在最喜歡的一點是它的位置。它在市中心，台北101就在四個街區外，從我們的飯店房間就可以看到。差不多隔壁就是一個很有趣的早市，幾個街區外的大馬路上，就是一條很熱鬧的商業購物大街。飯店很小，房間大小適中，對我們兩人加上大行李箱一點問題也沒有。 我們在巡迴中，所以實際上在一星期內訂了這間飯店兩次。第一次我們住在三樓，可以接收到免費的無線網路訊號，但第二次我們在七樓，一點訊號都收不到。 房間裡有熱水瓶、茶和即溶咖啡。浴室雖然不大，但功能很齊全，水壓很足夠還有一個現代的「淋浴馬桶」（用來清潔…恩…「臀部」）。 飯店人員懂得英文有限，但是他們非常好，而且願意盡其所能地幫忙。他們讓我們晚一點退房，所以我們不用在（很熱的）外面遊蕩，直到我們的飛機離開。 用早餐的地方是在它們在旁邊的餐廳， 在一樓。早餐包含吐司、非常好吃的炒飯、和一些青菜。同時也有果汁、茶和咖啡。

I stayed in room 205. The light closest to the TV was malfunctioning and kept flickering. The bathroom door could not be locked. I hope the industry can take care of it in the future.
There are a lot of ants on the table. There was a machine running in the room that sounded like it was coming from the ceiling. People who are sensitive to noise may want to consider this.
Check-in time is very early, you can check in at 15:00. There are attached tea bags and a quick-boil pot, as well as a refrigerator for use. Overall, the CP value is high.

This is nice, clean hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are a decent size and the bathroom/shower are excellent. The hotel is in an area with plenty of restaurant choices, including a small night market very close by. Not many upscale restaurants that I found, but there are a few. The hotel restaurant serves a great breakfast but were only open at night on the weekend. Being a business traveler, I wish the restaurant and bar were open during the week. There is a gym, but is was quite disappointing.

Excellent location. Hotel is right around the corner from MRT station and Ximending night market food and shopping. Hotel room was clean, breakfast was included in our package, and staff were very friendly and helpful. They offer some currency exchange (limited amount each day). They also arranged a taxi to the airport with an English speaking driver for when we checked out and provided us breakfast take-out boxes since we had to leave at 5am for our flight.

For this area, the price-performance ratio of this hotel is quite high, and the indoor hot spring house is also quite large. The only drawback is that the room has no windows, but it is not bad. There is a car to and from the station, and it seems that many business hotels have it. There is this kind of pick-up service, but it ends at 12 o'clock in the morning. There will be a break at noon, and then the bus will start again at 2 or 3 o'clock. It is quite good. It is convenient. In fact, it is not too far to walk down the mountain. The pool is quite clean. .

This is my favorite hot spring hotel~
I only picked this one hotel that has a private bath in the room and a beautiful view~
I like that the bath is by the window, so you can soak in the hot spring while looking at the scenery~
When you soak in the heat, bursts of cool air blow in, and you will be refreshed~
Both Chinese and Western breakfasts are huge~
The counter and restaurant staff are very polite~

CCherny GohNew hotel and modern. Loved the coffee machine and all snacks and drinks were part of the room booking. Hotel was just 2 mins away from MRT Jiantan exit 2 and walking distance to Shilin Night Market. Mountain view. The jacuzzi bathtub provided a good soak after a day of walking/shopping/feasting. The housekeeper forgot to place a new set of towels on day 2 which was an unpleasant experience.

Well, when it comes to value to money, this hotel is a let down.
The price is overrated compare to the added value of the room and service you can get.
Unless you really have high budget for hotel stay so that you can afford their suites room in high floor, the room (including its view) is just a so so (compare to its price)
The most let down is their breakfast service in Yen. It consistently gave me an unfair table placement during my stay. Fyi, I am a non chinese asian solo traveller. I always come to the breakfast place quite early before 7 AM so that there are so many empty table. The restaurant officer always escort me to sit in small table with almost no view. Everytime i asked why i can't sit in the more better better place, they will answer that the tables are for more than 2 person. Again, i arrived very early in the morning so that almost every tables are empty. First, i tried to be positive, that maybe this restaurant would be very full soon and the officer would consistently place a single person guest like me in the smaller uninteresting position table. I was very dissapointed when they just escorted single or 2 person westerners to the tables with the best view with the capacity for 4 people or even sofa pavillion for 6. They were stayed there alone until their finish their breakfast. So dissapointed with this unfair trea**ent. Its front desk performance during my check out on june 4th 2023. It's almost 7 and only 1 officer standby. It's a very long waiting time (since i wait there since 06.35 AM). I also cant use the express check out because the express check out box has information that i can only do the express check out if I chose it during the check in (which nobody informed me).
So my insight from this trip is:
1. Prepare a high budget so that you can afford their suites. You will experience the real W experience with that kind of room
2. Their breakfast restaurants service not really a best place for solo asian non chinese traveller. It has a great food and good view but yeah not the best service based on my experience

EEuniceWCity Suites is very responsive through their FB chat regarding requests and questions that you have regarding the hotel and pre-arrival.
The location of the hotel is in between Taipei Main Station and Beimen Station. If you have large luggages, do use the entrance/exit nearer to TaoYuan MRT upon arriving at Taipei Main Station. There are escalators and lifts to assist for that entrance/exit. Otherwise you can walk through the underground mall (Taipei City Mall) to Exit Y21, hotel is 3 mins walk away from Y21. Do note that Exit Y21 is a few long flight of stairs.
The hotel is 2 bus stops away from Ximending, 10-15mins walk away from NingXia night market and you can walk to many places from the underground Taipei City Mall. A lot of food around the area too!
Upon arrival at the hotel, we had to do self check-in with staff on the side to assist us readily.
We were given a room on the 3rd floor and with a bathtub. Room looked and felt clean, it's bright and space was decent without being too cramp. Hotel gives bottled water and they have water dispensers for guests to refill.
I'm grateful that the TV have many channels to watch. Bed and pillow is pretty comfortable, and there were many hooks on the wall for us to hang up our jacket and clothes. The wall hooks were greart as we could air our clothes and jackets everyday when we're not wearing them!
We had issues with the bathroom. Water pressure and temperature was alright, but the shower doors for the bathtub was constantly allowing water to leak onto the floor whenever we showered.
Everytime after a shower, the bathroom floor will have a puddle just below the door.
It is very dangerous and slippery, and we have to place the bath mat there to soak up the water making the bath mat very soggy. Hopefully the hotel can rectify this issue in the bathroom.
Would also prefer this hotel if I could flush toilet paper down the toilet. I wasn't comfortable with the idea of throwing soiled paper into a waste bin due to hygiene (but had to get used to it for many places in Taiwan).
WiFi was slow at times but at least I didn't not encounter the WiFi disconnecting from my devices.
Staff was helpful when we needed to weigh out luggages and when we needed to discard food trash out from our room.
As the hotel is a tall building, but City Suites is only from L1 to L3, do note that the sound insulation for this hotel isn't that good. We could hear cars and trucks passing by at night. Thankfully, Aircon for the room isn't noisy. If you're sensitive to noise, remember to bring earplugs.
I won't mind staying at this hotel again if I'm back in Taipei!

GGuest UserLocation is superb. The only issue I had was the noise since i got the window bed. I can even listen clearly to the conversation downstairs. Plus the car & motorcycle sound is very loud.
Bathroom & toilet is clean. But have to wait for quite some time coz it’s shared with 2 dormitories.

SSwC_TWIn terms of price, 2-3000 is acceptable during holidays. The overall facilities are old and between two MRT Brown Line stations, especially close to Songshan Airport.
The breakfast this time was a McDonald's wrap or sandwich, not a buffet breakfast. The buffet breakfast should have been canceled a long time ago.

WWu jiaweiThe hotel is located near Taipei Main Station. The location is quite ideal. I had to catch the Taoyuan Express in the morning, so I chose it. I was not disappointed. It is very close to the entrance of the Express, and there are convenience stores, restaurants, and restaurants nearby. Quite a few, it can cover almost all the needs in life. The room I stayed in this time was very tidy and had a lot of space. The bedding and supplies were very comfortable and well-prepared. The front desk staff was also very enthusiastic. YyysohhThe cleanliness of the hotel room is such a disappointment. The bathroom wall grouting & silicon was moldy, and spider webs were in the room. The TV and aircon vent were super dusty. The aircon, even off, was extremely cold.
The overall cleanliness is terrible, with noticeable dust accumulating in several areas. It was disappointing and not up to the hygiene standards one would expect from a hotel room.
To make matters worse, the cleanliness issues persisted even after the room was supposedly cleaned. The bathroom grouting remained moldy, spider webs lingered, and the attendant neglected to vacuum away the hairs on the floor. The bed has insects, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. This consistent neglect of hygiene standards throughout my stay was disappointing and unacceptable. This lack of attention to detail further emphasized the subpar cleanliness standards, contributing to an unsatisfactory stay.
