Had a memorable and pleasant stay . Service was efficient and food was great. Looking forward for a new visit.

We had multiple issues with our 7 nights stay. Which some has been addressed and fixed immediately. One thing we do recommend to confirm check upon arrival or when booking. Lack of view - we’ve booked the 1 bedroom premium room. From the pictures it looked like floor to ceiling big windows with open view but we were assigned to a room situated in the heritage floors (2nd) which the windows are 1.5m high so have to tippy toes to see the view. Limited sunlight also, bathroom has no window. Issues we encountered 1) hall way light - wasn’t working on the first night when we checked in at 11pm. We couldn’t even find our room number cause it was so dark, we used the torch on our phone. Wasn’t a nice first impression if you are scared of dark hallways. The sensor was fixed the next day. 2) phone wasn’t working - so we couldn’t contact the front desk. We got in late with a toddler, so we put on ‘do not disturb’ sign but someone banged the door at 8am, to reach us to ‘fix the issues’. Not sure why can’t they just slip us a note under the door. 3) so many flies - the breakfast restaurant have serious pest issues. There were more than 10 flies flying around the buffet and the tables. We didn’t feel comfortable eating there after one visit. The whole duration of the meal, we were waiving off the fly. Major hygiene concern! 4) housekeeping was very average, barely cleaned the room daily. Only made the bed. 5) overall the staff were all friendly, special appreciation to the male staff at the breakfast room. The lady duty manager didn’t seem friendly, carries an attitude and likes to talk over you. Location is great, round the corner from the tram line. Will I stay again, most likely not. Feels more like a 4 star hotel, definitely not 5 star.

First time we stay at Park Hyatt Melbourne and the experience can't be better. The hotel is a little far away from the middle of the city but it has its own advantages such as better gardens, more quiet and also pretty spacious courtyard. The hotel and rooms gave me a touch of the 1900s decoration style, which is pretty impressive. The room was spacious and well equipped, and I was especially loving the Le Labo brand used in the bathroom. The fine dining experience was truly amazing, with pretty good acoustic music. Overral, the stay was pleasant, and I would definitely visit again.

Had a comfortable stay for 3 nights. Hotel about 15-20mins walk from city centre and can pop onto tram in free tram zone. Toilet bowl had a smelly drainage smell which holds presence in the air everytime you flush, was pretty unpleasant.

On 24/6 I ordered fried eggs during breakfast, yet the quality of the eggs were not up to standard, yolk was not normal and with no taste at all, yet I ordered same on the next day with a different chef, that was back to a normal egg, I wondered Sheraton would use such quality of eggs! Another opinion is that gym room facilities are not enough, thanks!

We had no idea there was a downstairs section, but the more we experience this establishment the more we liked it. Downstairs has a restaurant and bar even though we only had breakfast the next morning, we can’t wait to head back and try the restaurant.  Customer service was outstanding, the kind that you only experience in the United States. The whole staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The room we had was very spacious including the bathroom and shower (no bathtub) and it was very clean. The only downside was that the bed was very firm and pillows soft, I prefer to feel like I’m sleeping on a cloud with a firm pillow.  We left feeling like the hotel didn’t have that business transaction type vibe but rather we were family, everybody was so friendly and we will definitely be back.

I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel, and my first day was great. The pool facilities were excellent, and I even had the whole pool to myself when I went for a swim. However, on the second day, when I returned to my room at 10:30 PM, it hadn't been cleaned at all. There was just a sign saying to notify them if I needed housekeeping. Seriously, at 10:30 PM, do I have time to wait for them to clean a room that hasn't been touched, with nothing moved? I'm extremely disappointed with W's service. This isn't even peak season for the hotel, why wasn't the room cleaned? Is it because they knew I was only staying two nights, so they treat a solo guest like this? I can't accept it. I don't even bother calling to complain anymore.

Location is greT( although don’t expect much of a view)  Service differed from one staff member to another, some were quite rude and abrupt , and the there were some who were great! Overall I don’t think it’s worth the price as you don’t get the luxury feeling you expect from a five star hotel, but it does the job !

Ficámos aqui três noites, o hotel FOI transformado de um edifício histórico de 1890s, e gostámos do pequeno-almoço incluído no restaurante Alluvial. A Sala de King Classic que NOS NOS acomodamos é espaçosa, considerando que está Na zona 1 de Melbourne. O hotel está a pé de muitas atrações da cidade de Melbourne, e podemos até descansar na sala de nossas viagens planeadas, no meio de um dia de Verão muito quente e sol. O banheiro oferece toalhas de Byredo que gostamos, mas a decoração é um pouco fechada e precisa de refresco e não estamos satisfeitos com o nível de serviço do pessoal. Por exemplo, a função sem mão do telefone não funciona corretamente; a segurança é de acordo com o hotel ”em processo de substituição” e não funciona também; a chamada para ”serviço instantâneo” Para ajuda, muitas vezes levou mais do que 5-seconds anel, especialmente durante a noite. Há até um falso alarme de fogo durante a manhã de nossa estadia. Não tenho dúvidas de que seja um padrão de hotel Intercontinental ou um hotel classificado 5-star. Para quem pensa ficar nesta sala de hotel, por favor note que as janelas estão fixadas e enfrentam o caminho, por isso a sala tem 1. nenhum sol natural 2. nenhum ar fresco e 3. Precisa fechar as cortinas todo o tempo se você preferir privacidade. Outro Ponto que vale a pena notar é que o piso do banheiro é muito deslizante após o banho, EU chamo-lo um armadilhador de morte se você USAR as calças de um só tempo que você fornece no quarto, porque você Pode facilmente obter um deslizamento e cair no piso do banheiro, Mesmo para um adulto adulto.
