"Hotel very near the station, not more than 1 minute walking. Very friendly welcome. Room was spacious and clean. Window could open and let in fresh air. In the hotel there was a small restaurant for guests with a nice local food menu. Breakfast was simple, but good. Restaurant ladies were very friendly and helpfull. They keep your luggage if you arrive early. In kakunodate things close early (in november?) So take care that you arrange your dinner plans in time."

"They communicated in advance to confirm the arrival time and even had someone waiting for us at the JR gate – a truly considerate gesture. We escorted us directly to our room (which is essentially a standalone building) for check-in. After introducing the room facilities, we arranged the breakfast delivery and station drop-off time for the next day, so there was absolutely no need to worry about transportation. The bus ride from the hotel to the station was only 5 minutes. The room was fully equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, and safe. Sockets and USB charging ports were conveniently located on both sides of the bed. There were two bathrooms; the showerhead had strong water pressure, and there was a huge soaking tub. The only downside was the shower gel – the formula contained rice, grapefruit, etc., and it smelled rather unpleasant. The air conditioning and underfloor heating worked well; it was below freezing outside, but above 20 degrees Celsius inside. Breakfast arrived on time, featuring local ingredients – simple yet delicious."

"大きな温泉がある宿です。温泉は屋内ですが、太い丸太の柱が組まれた天井の高い建物で、雰囲気のある大浴場でした。 温泉施設がある建物の中に食事処があります。食事処も天井が高くて快適です。日本酒は秋田県のものを多種揃えてあり、料理もとても美味しくいただきました。中華料理が充実しており、青椒肉絲をいただきましたが、とても美味しくいただきました。朝食はブッフェで和洋の料理、土地のものも豊富に用意されていて充実しておりました。"

"As luxurious as one can expect. Beautiful place in a secluded natural environment with lavish service and delicious food. The bath are very well prepared and the staff is extremely kind and attentive. It is a hard ask but it would be nice to have some western options at breakfast. But of course this is a Japanese traditional inn yet these options would feel even more luxurious. Some of the decoration feels a bit either dated, kitsch or not being harmonious, I think they need a redesign of the furnitures are it looks more like an assemblage than a harmonious selection of decoration and furnitures. It’s a little on the weird side even sometimes! But the bedding is exceptional. You will have a great sleep at this stay!"

"毎年避暑旅行でお世話になっております。今回は初めてこちらで予約をしました。 まず過ごしやすい気候と居心地のよい室内、周囲が森で囲まれていることから非日常を感じられます。酸性のお湯はお肌がすべすべになります。源泉の濃度ごとにお湯が別れているので全て試してみると楽しいです。食事は湯治場であったことから野菜が多い健康的です。少し物足りないかもしれませんが、素敵な宿です。 しかし、山の中のため虫が部屋まで入ってきたり、大雨による土砂崩れにより断絶してしまう交通など少々不都合が起こる可能性があるのでご注意下さい。 お昼は宿で食べることも出来ますが、舗装された道路を歩いて10分程の玉川の食堂や、更にそこから少し歩いた岩盤浴にて体の疲れを癒したり噴出口で野菜を蒸したりする事ができます。是非食べ物や岩盤浴用の茣蓙やタオルを用意しておくと良いでしょう。(玉川温泉の売店でも売られているので是非) 日常の疲れを取りゆっくりしたい方におすすめです。"
