"I booked room with queen-bed, bathtub, balcony and floor 5-8. none of this i got. Bed are 2 single bed put together. The floor was 4(finally i dont care, but i guess my original room was sold again). Balcony is inside the building. No wind and very hot. I planed to stay longer but i am already used that the descriptions are never right in Vietnam so i left next day. Outside are many small eating place at night and bussy but room still quietly. Bed not soft and would be good if it would have the right size."

"I had a fantastic stay! The room was spotless, well-maintained, and just as cozy as it looked in the pictures. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it super easy to get around. The host was incredibly responsive and friendly, which made the whole check-in and check-out process a breeze. Overall, it offers great value for money and I highly recommend it!"

"The hotel was nice and clean.
The service was good.
Nice breakfast, basically you can get everything there. They’ve got salad, egg, sausages , bacon, cake, congee, vegetables , pho, sweet soup and fruit.
Since the hotel is in the old town. So it is very convenient to go anywhere.
However my friend lost a bracelet in the hotel.
She said she put it on a coffee plate in the room and it was gone when we came back.
I just want to remind you to keep your belongings well in the safe or keep them with you all the time.
The welcome fruit , the coffee and tea are free. But the snacks and cookies are not! They are very cheap though."

"Edit after 5 days: really good ULTRA BUDGET hotel if you don’t mind a not so comfortable bed and possibly other creature comforts (if you’re looking for a proper hotel experience, LOOK ELSEWHERE). The outside of the hotel can be very dirty at times especially after raining but that comes with the amazing location
I thought beds are usually this uncomfortable until I stayed at other hotels. Barely good enough to sleep if you’re used to comfortable beds. Has an issue with the remote after 2 days and they simply couldn’t fix it. So if you encounter issues, you might be on your own. That’s not to say that staff isn’t helpful. You’re just getting what you pay for
Location is so perfect that I didn’t even bother with grab at all for most of Hanoi city attractions. It’s especially good on weekends when the major roads around the lake are closed for pedestrian. Receptionist was super accommodating and generous temporarily upgrading my “viewless” room which they totally don’t have to"

"O hotel fica bem perto do ponto de ônibus de Hong Kong, onde desembarcamos, a cerca de 5 minutos a pé. Eles até nos presentearam com algumas lembrancinhas. Recomendo muito este hotel e com certeza voltaria."

"The location is in the heart of the city. Everything is in short walking distance.
Upon check in, u will bw greeted by the staff (English speaking) with a welcome drink.
The lobby smells nice and cooling and the check in is done smoothly. All the hotel details are well explained and service-boy assist to bring up the luggage to the room.
The room is decent size for a couple and all things inside are well equipped.
What i like most is the international charging wall where u do not need to worry on bringing a international plug.
Water bottles are provided when request. There is proper safe.
Importantly, the staff is forever friendly and always greeting each customer.
Breakfast is good and well prepared."

TTraveller1001We really enjoyed our stay at Classyc Hotel! Best thing was all the staff - everyone was so friendly, helpful and smiling all the time! We were welcomed with drinks and snacks on our arrival, got brought up to our room, and every time we go out and come back, they will open the door for us and greet us! Room was comfortable with everything we need - the only thing I would change is having slippers instead of thongs, but that's our preference only. Breakfast was amazing, it had great selection of choices including local food and coffee, all the staff again were so attentive and friendly! On departure we were gifted with a cute Vietnam souvenir which was a lovely touch! Thank you to all the staff members during our stay, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again if we come back to Hanoi!

BBon LawWe stayed at hotel chateau de hanoi for 2 nights and overall, it was an under-average experience. For its price (pre-discount and considering we were in Vietnam) it might not be that worth it.
We booked the hotel because of its high-rated reviews and its branding as a 5 star boutique hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted with welcome drinks and the staff was friendly. We arrived hanoi quite early, so we asked if we could do an early check-in. We were informed by the staff that an early check-in was not impossible, but there was an extra charge. It was however totally understandable that the hotel has their arrangements so we went along with the regular check-in time, but the staff quite passive aggressively told us that they informed us on WhatsApp— we were on a flight and later on a Grab to the hotel so we were unable to read the message entirely. I would expect a 5-star service to be more understanding.
To be very honest, I would doubt if the hotel qualifies to be categorized into a 5-star hotel. Of course, the hotel provides customers with all the necessary amenities like toothbrush and shaving kits, but the hotel room didn’t have a window and lighting was insufficient. There was a bathtub, but there was no proper standing shower and it was just a shower head next to the toilet without curtains or doors. The twin bed was extremely small and too easy to be moved around (in a sense that if I wanted to sit at the edge of bed, the mattress would slide to that side).
Hygiene was fine but some areas such as the wall and the bathing area could be improved. We ran out of tissue paper in the room as well but after housekeeping the box was still empty and not replaced with a new box of tissue. Soundproofing at the hotel was not solid since we could constantly hear noises from next door during midnight.
In our booking package free breakfast was included, so we checked it out in the morning. A small buffet was provided, but the plates and utensils had oil on them. There was a set menu, but the scrambled eggs were not up to par and the pho was okay. Considering the hotel brands itself as a 5-star hotel, I would expect better hygiene and quality check.
Location-wise, the hotel is located at the heart of Old Quarter. It is convenient but this also means traffic can get very hectic nearby. Moreover we realized the staff was getting less and less friendly as we reached the end of our stay. It would be nice if their attitude and service could be more consistent, again, given it is a 5-star hotel.

服務非常好，進門有人拿行李，退房有人記住你叫的車牌號，主動幫你找到車 並把行李送上車。早餐也特別棒提供豐富邪自助餐，以及越南粉面 雞蛋點單服務
同時我認為餐廳的薩拉米特別好 詢問餐廳經理是哪種品牌，她耐心的去廚房給我拍照 並且在手機展示我圖片，雖然退房後趕飛機沒買到 下次去一定要買回來嚐嚐
前台很棒 會四種語言，英語越語韓語中文 酒店很多韓國客人。辦入住的時候就收到了前台手寫的英文歡迎信，字體很漂亮，同時送你一張地圖 介紹嘞河內老街附近的美食 景點 購物等訊息
其中前台還向我推薦了附近特別棒的一家雞肉越南粉，排隊人很多 味道特別好
退房之後前台請我對酒店服務設施提出建議，我反饋應該在浴缸添加遮水簾防止淋浴時大量水灑到地板，他們非常認真聽取了我的建議 並且送我一包茶葉和蜜餞 我感到非常驚喜和意外
另外我還想實名錶揚為我手寫歡迎信的前台，退房之後發現忘帶歡迎信，她為我重寫一張拍照給我留作紀念，謝謝你！為我在河內留下了美好的記憶（zalo操作失誤 我找不到賬號了 因此忘記了她的名字）
缺點:酒店房間有點小，隔音略差 這是河內酒店的普遍缺點。長期住可能有些壓抑
雖然就三星酒店來説，價格略高
但綜合環境和服務水平 我認為是超值的選擇！

Até as persianas/cortinas na parede de vidro entre o quarto e o banheiro estavam faltando. Totalmente decepcionante! Mas eu daria nota máxima ao gerente e à equipe da recepção. Eles foram muito corteses e prestativos. Eles facilitam um check-in antecipado sem nem mesmo pedir! Eles estavam verificando e ajudando pessoalmente com cada pequeno detalhe da nossa estadia, itinerário de viagem, reservas de passeios, comida, etc. Eles foram muito cooperativos e mais do que dispostos a oferecer táxis e bebidas de cortesia quando os informamos sobre as decepções em torno da qualidade do quarto e das instalações. Para resumir, o que começou como uma experiência ruim se transformou em uma estadia memorável por uma equipe altamente profissional e amigável!!

Ppinkripple位置位於還劍湖附近，出入方便。酒店服務真的要大讚，我們半夜抵達，怕酒店不清楚提前打電話通知過。去到半夜一點半，酒店前台馬上出來為我們開門提行李。每次從外面回來都會有人問是否需要解暑的飲品，很貼心。
房間衞生還不錯，空間也足夠大。酒店早餐品種不多但出品很好，pho很棒，水果也很新鮮。

Dolce by Wyndham Hanoi Golden Lake is certainly visually striking. The hotel is incredibly photogenic, and while the overall experience was lovely in many ways, it leaned more towards being aesthetically impressive than feeling like a seamless 5-star stay.
📍 Location
The location is quieter and less central than the Old Quarter, which is worth considering if you enjoy being close to major attractions. That said, the lakeside setting created a calm, peaceful atmosphere that we really appreciated.
✨ Highlights
The personalised service from the front desk and door staff was a real highlight. They remembered our names and room number throughout our stay, which felt thoughtful and welcoming. Our room was spacious and the lake view was genuinely beautiful. The gym was clean, updated, and perfectly adequate for a comfortable workout. The buffet breakfast offered a wide range of options and variety.
⚠️ Areas for improvement
There were a few small details that, with a little more attention, could elevate the experience even further. We were provided with an ironing board that wasn’t in working condition and an iron that was missing parts, which caused a slight delay to our plans one morning. A replacement iron was provided, however it was marked and unfortunately left a small stain on one of my garments.
The pickleball court was located in a basement area that felt a little unfinished and could benefit from some added care and presentation.
The rooftop pool offered lovely skyline views, however the space itself felt quite quiet, with worn lounge chairs and limited ambience. A poolside bar or some soft music could really enhance the atmosphere and make this area more inviting.
One evening, an event held above our room resulted in music and drums being audible late into the night, which impacted rest. Better soundproofing could help ensure guest comfort during events.
The laundry service was priced at the higher end, and a price list wasn’t provided. While we could have asked in advance, clearer upfront pricing would have made the experience a little smoother.
Breakfast service was pleasant, though it felt less interactive compared to other 4- and 5-star hotels we stayed at in Hanoi, where staff were especially proactive in checking in with guests, offering recommendations, and seeking feedback.

A very beautiful hotel with warm front-facing staff, spacious rooms, and lovely views. With a little more attention to detail and consistency in service, this property has the potential to offer a truly exceptional luxury experience. A wonderful stay in many ways, with just a few opportunities to shine even brighter.

XXtininingWe had a two-day stay at their serviced apartment. We were impressed by the wide range of their international dishes served for breakfast buffet. Also, there were a lot of amenities to choose from- swimming pool, gym, spa, sauna, steambath & mini mart. Their supervisor, Ms. La can speak multiple languages too– Japanese, Mandarin, and Korean. The bed was so comfortable- linens were clean. The location is accessible and near the city centre. It's surrounded with a lot of shops. Keeping the Japanese standard of service. Worth recommending!
