Booked Deluxe King Room with breakfast included. Room was spacious and breakfast was great. Yet the standard of housekeeping was far from satisfactory. First, hairs were found at the wrap for the wire of the hair dryer the moment I checked in, and small scrap of paper was also found on the inside of a towel. Without any notice/sign in the room about the hotel's green housekeeping policy (if any), towels heavily loaded on the hook and hangers in the bathroom were not collected even on day 3 of my stay (there was no bath tub in the room to place used towels). Packs of cotton pads, cotton buds and small soaps were not refilled even when totally used up. Interesting enough, when enquired with front desk if that was the hotel's policy not to so collect the towels and make the refill unless express requests were made, the answer was in the negative. The charging of tips for breakfast is another interesting issue. My husband stayed at the hotel for 2 nights (with breakfast included) before my arrival. When he checked out, he was asked to pay for tips for 1 breakfast. After clarifying if tips should be paid for 2 breakfasts instead, front desk apologized for having wrongly charged for any tips as all charges should have already been included when making the hotel booking. Yet on our checking out after 5 nights' stay with the hotel, we were told that we had to pay for tips for 2 days' breakfast. We again enquired about the hotel policy and explained that we were willing to pay but wondered why tips weren't charged for all 5 days for our stay. No explanation was given and the staff (probably thought that we did not want to pay) just advised that the charges would be waived. I have stayed at Park Hyatt Bangkok and the service was excellent. Was thus surprised to had those experience at Park Hyatt Toronto.

歴史ある雰囲気のいいホテルといった感じで、全体的にスタッフの感じが良く、滞在中よくこまめに声をかけて下さいました。お部屋も素敵で文句なく快適なホテルでした。 朝はロビーにコーヒーが用意されていたり、ホテル内のレストランでアラカルトの朝食(有料)も利用可能、近くに素敵なカフェもあり便利な場所です。 アメニティは近隣のホテルのレビューなどを見ても歯ブラシやスリッパはないかもと思い持参しましたがやはりありませんでした。また今回の部屋は洋服を納められる棚はあるものの吊るすスペースやハンガーがめずらしくありませんでした。2泊の滞在でカジュアルな服しか持参していない私達は問題ありませんでしたがスーツなど必要な方はホテルに確認した方がいいかもしれません。 初めてのカナダなのに、今回ホテルを探す時間が十分なく前日に同価格帯の安定の大手ホテルとだけ比べ迷いましたが、写真や僅かな日本人の口コミに何となく惹かれて予約しました。結果ここにしてよかったですし、また次回もぜひ利用したいです。

Great hotel, comfortable quiet room, very friendly helpful staff. At time of writing, main dining room is closed and the breakfast + room service is pricey and a bit inconsistent. Overall highly recommend.

I was initially apprehensive about staying in an ”old” hotel, but my worries came to rest. It was similar to a cottage theme with very clean rooms and adequate amentities. Staff were always very friendly, greeting us everytime we leave and return to the hotel, and responds promptly to our housekeeping requests. 10 minutes from the hotel, there is a park with a calming stream, a great place to rest and rewind from the busy city life. Nearest train station is just 5 minutes walk away, and a 30-45 minutes car ride to downtown. Some downsides though, there are no nearby restaurants besides the one in the hotel, and no nearby supermarkets. Utensils were not provided in the room so be prepared to bring your own set. Hotel lifts seem a bit worn out but had not broken down during my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay given the calm surrounding vibes and amazing service. I would consider returning in the future

The hotel is ideally situated of the front of the lake with the ferries to the islands just outside. An underground stop is just across the road with links to Union station and elsewhere. There are also a selection of buses that pass and a hop on hop off stop is about 10 mins walk. You can walk most places in central Toronto from hotel if you wish and are happy walking. You can choose which street suits you best on your walk and change route for variation as only a block apart and will all get you to central Toronto. You are maybe about 15 mins from the Blue Jays and CN tower so hotel is in a great location. Billy Bishop airport is about a 20 min walk and would be convenient if you can get flights to or from there to your destination. The communal areas in the hotel look very nice, as is the entrance if being dropped off by car. However there is work going on around the outside of the hotel and if walking to and from the hotel it isn’t so pleasant on the eye. My bedroom was spacious but felt dated and would be nice to see a more updated look. However the view onto the lake more than made up for that minor irritation. The staff were all great and helpful when asked. There was various things going on from regular activities in the leisure area to free ice cream and wine ( not together unfortunately ) and music in the afternoon. The leisure facilities were great with a pool, sauna, steam room and gym as well as an outside area (5th floor) for sitting outside while the kids could play. There was a tennis court and a basket ball hoop. There was also an oppertunity to use cycles and go for a run possibly with a guide. We didn’t eat at the hotel so couldn’t comment but the did have a restaurant on the top of there south tower that would give great views. We did grab a coffee and snack from across the street and would enjoy sitting on the benches just along from the hotel looking into the lake in the morning. All in all one of the older hotels ( I think) in a great location with great views and facilities which met our needs.

Quando se fala em Radisson Blu, as pessoas podem pensar em um hotel 4 estrelas, mas minha experiência com o Radisson Blu não foi tão agradável. A falha de comunicação começou logo no check-in. No Trip.com, disseram que podíamos tomar café da manhã em estilo buffet por US$ 25 por pessoa, mas, ao perguntar, disseram que era à la carte e que o pagamento deveria ser feito no restaurante. Não havia buffet disponível. Pediram que eu enviasse um e-mail para confirmar se as informações sobre o café da manhã estavam corretas, como mencionado no Trip.com. Infelizmente, ninguém respondeu ao meu e-mail até o horário do café da manhã (das 8h às 11h) e não tomamos café da manhã. O quarto é razoável. Não é tão empolgante quanto parece ser o Radisson Blu. Já me hospedei no Radisson Blu em outros países, mas a qualidade dos quartos lá não se compara à do Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown. O quarto no Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown é igual ao de um hotel qualquer. A cafeteira estava muito suja. Quando reclamamos na recepção, eles não nos enviaram nenhuma reposição. Outro problema é que não forneceram kits odontológicos, como deveria ser oferecido em todos os hotéis 4 estrelas. Ao solicitarmos na recepção, eles nos enviaram kits odontológicos cerca de uma hora depois. Ao verificar a recepcionista, ela era estagiária. Mostrei a ela a foto da máquina de café suja e expliquei nossa insatisfação. Ela disse que não poderia me dar nenhuma compensação, já que o quarto era pré-pago. Em troca, ela me ofereceu uma garrafa de água para a nossa viagem 😄. Quer dizer, eu não preciso de uma garrafa de água como compensação. Então ela me ofereceu que o estacionamento seria por conta da casa. Agora, estou aguardando a devolução do meu depósito de segurança de US$ 100. Além disso, a localização do hotel é muito bacana e conveniente. Bem no coração do centro da cidade. A Torre CN era visível apenas da janela do nosso quarto. Considerando tudo, não atende ao padrão de um hotel 4 estrelas.

Although the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, its excellent location is incredibly convenient. The rooms are spacious enough, and amenities are comprehensive, with great housekeeping service. It's also very close to landmarks like the University of Toronto, and there's a significant Chinese presence in the area. Various Asian eateries, including Heytea, are abundant, making it suitable for Chinese guests.

The location was close to downtown and is walkable to the aquarium and some sightseeing places.

The bar near the lobby is nice and they have a beautiful bar. The breakfast is not good. They say is included and they only let you have one option from the menu. Luxury is flexibility. Having to pay extra if I want to eat more in a five star hotel feels cheap.

We had a great stay at Holiday Inn Downtown Toronto! The hotel is conveniently located near the heart of downtown, making it easy to explore nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The only small downside was the hotel parking, which was a little pricey at $40 per day. However, there are plenty of cheaper parking options nearby, so it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay here again!
