I originally booked this hotel because it was right on the coast the views were stunning but i didn’t see till too late that I had accidentally chosen a room without windows I asked for an upgrade which wasn’t available on the first night but the room was clean and adequate for a night. The next day they very kindly upgraded me to a mountain view room for free which was much better. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside to this place is that it is quite far from downtown and most attractions but it is right next to the beach so that was nice.

I will start with the positive and say that the resort is located on a hill facing the sea and some mountains so I was happy that I had a good view from my room window. The balcony was an added bonus, but although I went for a deluxe double room, there was nothing deluxe about it! I stayed in 3 & 4 star hotels in China that they were not much different than this room I was given. The staff were very polite and accommodating, but most of them had very little English or no English at all - had to use a translation app or repeat/rephrase a few times (Chinese & English are the spoken languages according to the website). The wifi is very weak so I kept using my own mobile data. The rooms are not sound insulated so I kept hearing the banging of nearby doors and people passing or stalling/talking along the corridor. In a nutshell, the amenities and service offered do not compare to the experience I had at Hilton hotels elsewhere. It is definitely not good value for money. Disappointing.

My old parents came from Korea. We - 6 people - wanted to have a great memory during their stay in Dalian. Its location was perfect, sitting at the heart of fishermen s warf, but it was right after rain that things were humid. I should admit that for the peak time and prime location, it is a reasonable price and I blame the wet weather for some smelly environment. Should avoid wet weather. It is already right at the sea. Also, the price is as much as other 5 stars that are not in this location. There are lots of insta spots in and out of the hotel, so it is whether to put yourself at the top location with a bit reasonable price or modernized hotels like Hilton and intercontinental that are farther away and a couple of bucks more expensive.

É um raro hotel-castelo puramente europeu com uma localização muito boa, a poucos passos da Praça Xinghai. É muito conveniente para comer e viajar, e há carros especiais para buscá-lo na subida e descida da montanha. O quarto é muito grande. O quarto com vista para o mar fica de frente para a ponte que atravessa o mar e a vista é muito chocante. As instalações internas são um pouco antigas, mas no geral são boas. O serviço é acolhedor e atencioso. O lobby é magnífico e impressionante. Também há apresentações interativas para crianças à tarde. Há vários elevadores no saguão e é fácil se perder. A qualidade do café da manhã é média, exceto pelo preço alto, todo o resto é satisfatório.

Hotel not in busy city area but very convenient; Shopping mall & metro station is at next door. Overall Staff is attentive. They are not doing any fancy such room upgrade, big smile greeting or give out some souvenir. But I can feel some staff are very mindful such as women staff at gym, repair staff sent to my room to fix air conditioning problem; 2 thumps up for their truly service mind. Amenities is old style but I like most for baht tub & washing machine in room.

Eles também atualizaram nosso quarto e viram um show de luzes à noite. No andar de baixo do hotel fica a Praça Xinghai, que é muito conveniente. Quem tem crianças vai gostar de alimentar as gaivotas. Você também pode sair para o mar e apreciar a paisagem de toda a ponte. Ao lado também há um museu de conchas que vale a pena visitar. Fomos à explicação do manual às 3 horas. Escolherei o Grand Hyatt na próxima vez que ficar?

第一次看到照片一眼心動，定房間以後也很怕照騙，來了以後發現，完全超出預期。 我發的都是實拍無修圖，窗外景色確實絕美，角度問題躺着看日出費點勁😂站起來看就行，海上日出絕了，房間温度也夠暖和，哪怕我遇到了下雪天氣，也可以實現不冷不受罪看日出。 其實正常看着窗外藍色大海，都非常美，我覺得沒有必要去任何網紅咖啡店了，坐在露台就是山海。 服務也不錯，拿行李、打掃，都ok，管家看我問了早餐時間説起不來，第二天直接送到了房間裏。 我個人覺得沒什麼缺點，這個房型偏小，1個人住倒是足夠了，另外建議放個裝衣籃，衣架是繩子的，很文藝好看，就是女生一般衣服多，有點不夠掛。

Most of the staff do not speak English at all! Only the guys at the reception speak good English and all questions had to be resolved with them, including the restaurant menu - no one in the restaurant, even with my use of a Chinese online translator, could help me with questions about the menu and when I asked the person at the reception to help me understand the menu, it turned out that the kitchen could not cook either the first course from the menu or the second. With dietary restrictions and allergies, you can die of hunger here. I consider it unacceptable to have non-English-speaking staff in a franchise of an English establishment. The cook at breakfast talks on the phone right at the place where food is prepared during breakfast. I wanted to ask him a question about the dishes on the first day - he was texting on the phone, on the second day he was directly talking on the phone. The dishes at breakfast are either not named at all or are named only in Chinese. There was no seller in the store at the hotel no matter how many times I went in to buy a T-shirt. In the end, I tried on what I was interested in at the store, chose it and went to the reception to pay for it. The next day, a salesperson appeared in the store and told me that the T-shirt I bought the day before had a 20% discount for a month, but when I paid for it, I paid it full price and thus I was deceived by 20% of the cost of the T-shirt and did not give any receipt. The pool is very small and not deep for such a huge hotel. If there is someone else in the pool besides your partner, there is not enough space. The sea near the hotel is dirty. Nothing is suitable for swimming - there are no sun loungers, there is no space on the beach specifically for the guests of the hotel. The beach is across the road from the hotel. There was only one coffee machine at breakfast and it didn't work both days. You could ask a restaurant worker for coffee. The hotel by the way has a cool energetic staff and that's nice. The room cleaning is high-quality. There are renovations going on at the hotel and guests can't use all the hotel areas.

Perfect location and just the BEST breakfast view EVER❤️🐬 Expensive but a good experience. Can be more thoughtful with welcoming gifts.
