Old shabby hotel catering to visiting local tourists, mainly. If you're a foreigner, the drivers of the cabs waiting outside the Hotel will rip you off 20-30 yuan unless you pay attention to the meter and immediately yell at them in case of overcharge. (Almost) noone at the check-in desk speaks English unless you chance on a manager. There're two teenage consierge boys at the main entrance, who boss the incoming patrons around and tell them how to live. The restaurant prices are on a par with those at Shangri-La hotel, but with far fewer choices and lower in cooking quality. The only BIG advantage if you're a swimmer like myself: a former German ”Kaiser” swimming beach is right accross the road. It's now callled ”Bathing Beach 1.” Awesome for doing non-stop laps for an hour. And even then: you can easily get to the beach by metro from any other Qingdao hotel. Just get off at Huiquan Square (Line 3) and come out through Exit C.

Everything was impeccable, no matter how big or small, and the price was very reasonable.

Very friendly and helpful staff, but a very basic hotel and a little overpriced for what it was. 'Courtyard view' sounded appealing, but the view was just the back of other businesses. Short walk from the Tsingtao Beer Museum and Beer street which was handy. Enjoyed the drip coffee each morning! We also enjoyed a walk through the park which is just behind the hotel.

I asked the beautiful boss where there is seafood suitable for children to eat, and also recommended it, and asked thousands of explanations, must eat fresh, otherwise the children will be uncomfortable. There is a supermarket downstairs, the price is close to the people, and it is convenient to buy things; 4, a few steps is the beer museum, the first afternoon to visit, no delay in the trip; 5. It is not far from Taitung Pedestrian Street, and the small three and a half years old also walks back and forth, although the subway is only one stop away; 6. Finally, I was very lucky. On the afternoon of the 7th, Shinan District began to be foggy. Super good, super clean, and the bathroom is fragrant. There is also a projection or something. The landlord’s beautiful sister is super nice. My mobile phone was taken in the middle of the first day and the trip was delayed. The landlord’s sister has been comforting me. And when I finally came to Qingdao, I met my needs in every way: I wanted to heat something halfway, and I directly helped me move the microwave oven. I rarely write reviews, but this experience is really good. I wish the store business is booming. I also hope to always meet good guests. It is not easy to be a hotel. I choose each other.

The room was small and clean. The quilt and pillows were torn in some places. The windows cannot be opened. You can only sit on a stool and watch the sea view. During peak tourist season, the price is almost 900 per room, which is more expensive than Shenzhen or Guangzhou. Forget it's expensive, the main reason is the poor quality of the rooms. My family described the bath water as being like a child's urine. The bath water is pitifully small. The entire bathroom is not too small, but it becomes pitifully small after adding a bathtub. TV programs are available on only a few channels. Many other channels are blue screen. The network was so bad that I basically couldn't connect from 6pm to 10pm. The front desk explained to me that there were too many people connected. To put it bluntly, it cannot be called a hotel, it is just the kind of guest house in a small train station. Being able to sell it for this price is also a big deal.

Excellent hotel!! Staff is very very friendly, location is perfect to visit most of famous site in Qingdao center, and the “location” in “mountain” gives a very good feeling while staying in city center. Only one minus is the noise at night. We could hear many noise coming from other bedroom or just the fridge in the room.
