Upon checking in, there was an English speaking guy who took me to the counter and made sure I was helped out properly. Since the front desk person didn’t speak English, the first guy stayed by my side until my check in was complete; he was very helpful and the check-in was very quick. Most of the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. In terms of dining and entertainment, the hotel has a decent location. There are plenty of convenience shops around along with some smaller restaurants; Knuckles bar happens to be just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The room was quite spacious with a panoramic view of the city on the 33rd floor. Once I returned to my room, this view made it a very serene night. It was so much easier to unwind. Unfortunately, there was construction going on across the street in the morning. That night was my birthday and stayed out late celebrating with friends; I planned to sleep in that morning but this was just impossible. The afore mentioned construction was EXTREMELY loud, which made it very hard to even want to stay in the room. I picked up my belongings and left the room as soon as I could. The noise generated by the construction is certainly not the hotel’s fault but I would definitely not stay there knowing there is such horrible noise affecting the property.

My friend and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express during our trip to Qingdao. Initially, we had high expectations of the hotel especially since my friend had experienced what Holiday Inn was like in a previous city which was a very good experience. However, our expectations were no met😕 at this hotel. Overall, it was not a bad stay because the hotel was at a good location (there's a mall literally behind the hotel, lots of restaurants and 5 min walk from the subway station) and the staff at the front dest were nice. However, the food, on trip.com, it notes there's western breakfast but there was not! The breakfast was a basic Chinese breakfast so we were not satisfied with the breakfast at all. Additionally, the hotel needs to be diligent about cleaning the bathrooms. You need to actually scrub the bathroom and not just wipe it down! The shower and around the face basin had mold which was very disgusting and disturbing 🤢. Please do better! Otherwise, we had a good stay. The bed and pillows were so soft, we felt like we were sleeping on clouds 😍😁. We also loved that the lobby had free popcorn for the guests to take 😄.

I came to Qingdao again. This time is very good. Dear friends, you can choose this time. There are few people and the weather is not cold. It is a good time to play. The lobby of Kaiyuan Mingdu is still as spacious and bright again. At least there may be a lot of people. I will like that their elevator is in the shape of a loop in the middle, there are no head and tail rooms, and it is for people living on high floors. It is very comfortable and the service is good. Traveling for business is a very good choice. There are three shopping malls near the subway station. If you don't want to walk far, there is also the Tangdao Bay beach, which is just a few minutes' walk away. G.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a decent experience for the price. The room was fairly clean, and the service was good, although non-Chinese speakers might encounter some challenges. The location is a bit tricky to find without a lobby; the reception is on the 6th floor. 😂 Despite these quirks, I'd say it's a reasonable choice considering the cost.

I highly recommend this place, because it is a family trip, I chose a relatively larger family room with a small tent, the children are very excited, and the tatami is very comfortable! I also like the separate design for adults and children. There is a large bathtub where you can soak and relax, and there is also a shower. The water volume and temperature are very good! When checking in, the lady at the front desk suggested to upgrade Huazhu Club while buying breakfast. It is very cost-effective and considerate tips and services, thank you very much! Provided additional toiletries for the children, because the children are more noisy, and the number of cleanings is also quite a lot. I am very grateful to the staff for taking the trouble! There is also a special cloakroom that really impresses me, hahaha! If there are plans to come to Huangdao, I will definitely continue to choose this hotel!

The mattress is soft and hard, the room is clean and refreshing everywhere, to be honest, this price is much more comfortable than living in the same level of hotel~ The service is also very good. I thought it would be more troublesome to stay at night, but the location is very good and the stay is smooth, praise! (The quality of the water heater + washing machine + projector is very good, and will come over for regular stay next time you are on a business trip)
