The owners, a family from Chongqing, are genuinely warm and welcoming. The rooms are clean and tidy, and there are grapevines all over the yard – you can just pick and eat them! If you're driving, there's a free charging station. It's right next to Frog Lane Pedestrian Street and the Folk Culture Park, and not far from Karez Well. When we checked out, the owners saw us off like family; it felt incredibly personal. It's a huge courtyard, very suitable for families with children.

After we encountered a bad experience with a desert glamping resort in Dunhuang, we were a bit cautious with Dune when we booked it. However, after I communicated with the manager in Dune via WeChat, I was more confident as he was very polite and helpful. He helped us to booked a transfer from Turpan Airport to Dune resort. As our flight arrived Turpan in the evening, it was late when we arrived at Dune. The manager and another staff came to the entrance of the driveway to welcome us and helped us with our luggage. They took us straight to our tent, and they upgraded us to a bigger tent, too. We woke up to this beautiful Kumtag Desert Sand dunes, right in front of our tent! It was so beautiful. As the off peak season started, we were the only guests there but the staff were serving us with delicious breakfast and dinner. The food was delicious and plentiful! The manager and staff were very attentive to our requests. One of the staff has helped us to arrange a local guide/driver to take us to the Kumtag desert for an exciting ATV ride and sand sliding. We had a great time. We ended up hiring the same guide, a pleasant and calm Uygur young guy to take us for some sightseeing and dropped us back to Turpan. I would say to anyone who is looking for a real desert glamping, please come to Dune in Shahshan near Turpan instead of Dunhuang.

Shanshan é uma cidade pequena e, se você vier aqui, seria para visitar o deserto de Kumtaq. O deserto fica a 15-20 minutos do hotel, assim como a estação ferroviária de Shanshanbei. Recomendo este hotel pelo serviço da equipe da recepção, a Sra. Xiaoba, que se esforça ao máximo para ajudar. Ela foi atenciosa no WeChat e providenciou um carro para nos buscar. Ela reservou um táxi de bom grado, pois não conseguíamos encontrar o endereço do mercado noturno em nosso aplicativo DIDI. Ela forneceu água extra e respondeu a todas as perguntas com um sorriso. Este é um hotel novo, então parece limpo e fresco, com um banheiro elegante. Eles até têm barracas/tipis, então, se você tiver uma criança, isso é bem-vindo. Vi um quarto com tema de Homem-Aranha e princesa Barbie também. O café da manhã tem muitas opções chinesas, bem preparadas e deliciosas. Eles têm uma cafeteira. Eu me hospedaria aqui novamente se voltasse. Vale a pena visitar o Deserto de Kumtaq, e o segundo carrinho de golfe/micro-ônibus turístico leva você até o final e o leva de volta à segunda estação. The locations is nice, close to or in the grape valley, service is friendly, we stayed at the family room which is a duplex and had a good sleep. For the high price of 1.200 Yuan would have expected lights at entrance area of complex, more luxurious reception area (currently more Chinese boarding house style), bedside tables with lights, more than a basic breakfast. It’s a nice place for 300-500 max, for 1200 you usually get a luxury resort and service in China.

The location is very close to Turpan North Station, just a short bus ride on bus route 2. It's about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Kan'erjing Paradise is also about a 10-minute walk away. It's also possible to take a bus to the city center. The Turpan Museum was closed for renovations. The bed was clean and had plenty of shelves, making it very convenient.

I encountered a small problem when checking into the family room. After communicating with the store, she decisively changed the room and upgraded it for free. It was very heart-warming. My favorite: I like the big terrace on the second floor. It is accompanied by stars at night and shaded by ancient trees during the day. It is so comfortable to drink tea with my family.

O fumo solitário está diretamente Na Sombra, e o Antigo Caminho está escondido no outro ano. E não se sabe o que há nos céus e na terra, e só o resto está no Paraíso.

We stayed one night at this homestay. It is very clean and modern. There is a very pretty tourist area nearby and a river. The noise level on the night we stayed was quite high for a few hours. It was from nearby hotels I think as there are many with bars. Our kids easily slept through the music and singing, but we adults did not. The noise stops by midnight though. Thos was a recurrent theme in a few places we stayed though in Xinjiang. Summer time os party time fpr many tourists without families. All in all it is a great, clean place to stay with exceptional service.

Couldn’t be happier with the stay. Arrived early morning at Turpan rail station and the owner granted early checkin without a fuss. Super convenient given the tiring overnight train journey. Owner was also kind enough to arrange for tour driver for one day sightseeing. The area is awesome! Next door is a local vegetable and fruit shop where things can be purchased super cheaply. Bought a large watermelon (in season) and the owner lent a knife to cut it open. Delicious! The room is great; well appointed, clean, breezy. Only slight issue with the bathroom where the water didn’t drain fast enough so need to shower carefully to prevent overflow into the room. Overall, it was a stay well beyond expectation. The owner was super nice and helpful.
