Our stay at Zhouzhuang Zen Yili was absolutely wonderful—a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and convenience! Taxi can dropped us off within 1 minute walking distance away from Zen Yili. Zhouzhuang ancient village entrance is just a few minutes walk from Zen Yili making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and activities. The peaceful surroundings of the homestay also added to the relaxing vibe. The hosts, both husband and wife were exceptionally kind and gave us great local tips. They provided us more than enough fresh fruits, tea, biscuits and mineral water. I was surprised also that the room was with full mosquitoes nettings with even anti mosquitoes device provided if needed. During our stay the homestay and its surroundings ware without mosquitoes. The room was spotless, with fresh linens and a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom was of five star standard for its fittings, and was very well-maintained. Before we checked out, we were given delicious homemade biscuits out of their hospitality. They also arranged for us a reliable and comfortable pickup after checked out. For the price, this homestay offered excellent value. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to couples, families, or solo travelers looking for a peaceful retreat in Zhouzhuang ancient village.

A decoração também é relativamente nova. cama: confortável. Custo-benefício: Reservar com antecedência é um ótimo negócio. O serviço do chefe é excelente. Vou me ligar com antecedência para perguntar como chegamos lá Dirigimos até lá e eles nos disseram em qual estacionamento estacionar e depois fomos até lá. Nos pegue no estacionamento. Peça ao patrão para comprar ingressos em seu nome, com desconto de 10 yuans/pessoa. A escola responde rapidamente, presta um bom serviço e está entusiasmada.

This trip is travel with my friends, group of travellers who are very particular with accommodation, high expectations. This hotel really out of expectations, very high tech, and great services. Nice environment, strongly recommended

This hotel feels more like a homestay, and the owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. Since we were running late and only arrived around 7pm, he kindly called to check on us and even came to pick up all four of us along with our four 26” luggage. He also provided the same drop-off service during check-out, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was simple but served hot, which was especially comforting during the winter season. The hotel has a charming antique style, and the room has been renovated with modern features such as an automatic flushing toilet. Overall, there isn’t much to expect in terms of luxury, but the warm hospitality made our stay very pleasant. I would recommend it to travelers looking for a cozy and friendly place to stay.

This place lays in a quiet ally only a block away from the busy street with shops and restaurants and tea shops. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We liked another room better, she helped us switch hassle free for free and they helped us get a car from the town to our train station. The room we got was very clean with a huge balcony with a beautiful rooftop view. The owner runs another beautiful inn right next to this one, called “Life inn” (生活客栈）, which is really nicely decorated and peaceful, attaching a few pictures of it here, we had some tea here, it was super relaxing. Definitely give it a visit, the price is reasonable for what you get.

I arrived in pouring rain. I thought I could walk to my hotel but it was impossible in the downpour. I didn’t want to bother any hotel owner.   I didn’t and still don’t  have an eSIM that can make local  call but thanks to Trip.com, there is a link that I could call the owner for free.  I didn’t advise the owners my arrival time so they were off running errands.  I called the owner to pick me up and thankfully he answered. He was busy but gracious enough to turn around and picked me up. It knew Zhouhuang requires a ticket but I didn’t know that no cars, nor motorcycles, nor bicycles are allowed. Without him I would have arrived the hotel easily.  I always like to meet the owners instead of employees . They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are honest people who dedicate their  blood and sweat to their business. The owner even offered to walk me to the bus stop  to Suzhou which was my next destination.  This  operates two hotels with 9 in one and 6 in the other. The one that I stayed in with 9 rooms is in a  lively and busy area . Just outside the hotel is a restaurant and there are plenty of places to eat. Inside the hotel is a peaceful oasis where you won’t hear any noise. The location is the best. The other hotel is in a quieter neighborhood a few minutes away. Each of the 15 rooms has it’s own personality, is different and has its distinctive decoration. The owners said they decorated them themselves. I love the decoration and especially the lighting.  After you reserve a room, be sure to contact the owner for the exact address in case you want to arrive on your own. I think it is best to request the owner to take you there because he/she will lead you to the ticket booth to buy tickets. There are a number of bridges so heavy big luggages can be a bit of a challenge .  If you arrive after 5 pm, you can enter free of charge as no one is there to check your ticket. . But once you are inside, and if you choose to leave the area after 8 or 9 am until 5 pm, you have to pay to come back in. You can buy a one day or in my case 3 days pass.  Do check with the owner for up to date information.  The room was quite clean. There were hot water all the time. There were other guests during my stay but they were not noisy at all. I barely heard them. I slept very well during my 3 nights there.  Zhouhuang is really beautiful. There are many canals, bridges, boat rides, good food of all kinds. I had some of the best meals there. In fact , I ate in the same restaurant that serves dumpling twice. One night I had grill (BBQ) meat just outside the entrance for 4 yuans. .  There is decent size supermarket just outside the turnstile and not too far away is a much bigger supermarket. It was there where I bought half a Peking duck for only 32 yuans . The seller sliced the meat and separated the meat from  the bones. The bones he fried so it was crunchy.  It was delicious. There is a theater that offers performances. The night view is great. If you step out your room, you will be overwhelmed in a good sense by the exciting surroundings.  This hotel definitely is one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Look at the beautiful pictures and find one that you like.  I stayed only 3 nights and one of those days I went to Tongli. In my opinion, one should spend at least 2 to 3 full days in  Zhouhuang (and especially this hotel ) savor the ambience. I don’t think Tongli is worth the time because it was twice as expensive and there are not that many canals and boat rides. It is much quieter and has fewer things to see. . The worst is that the sightseeing places require you to show your ticket. After 2 places, I lost mine ticket and I  couldn’t get in the rest of the places. It is unnecessary to require proof of entrance because you can’t enter the area without a ticket. 

首先表揚服務。早餐好吃比較用心，其次會有伴手禮，店家會給你發重要景點的定位，很方便。吐槽的是店家推薦地餐廳，真的很一言難盡，兩個人193塊錢，還沒有吃飽，分量少也就不提了。關鍵是味道真的是不提也罷，魚蒸的沒有放蒸魚的醬油直接是鹽撒在魚皮上，導致魚皮特別鹹，河蚌燒豆腐，估計是燒好了來人就盛的那種，有些腥味，醬鴨28一份，用的是那種袋裝的鴨子，其中的四分之一。真的話無語的很，萬三面真的是油膩的吃不了一點。

The hotel is at perfect location of the ancient town, well decorated and large rooms with beautiful view directly to the canal. We book a duplex room which is perfect for 4 persons, with a big balcony which is very chill to sit there drinking tea and watch nice view surrounding. The host is very friendly and helpful. Especially there is a family restaurant at opposite site, owner is the hotel host's sister, you can taste all the best food of Zhouzhuang here in a family like atmosphere. We have travelled from Shanghai to Wuzhen, then from Wuzhen to Zhouzhuang, also spend a day to Suzhou which is about 50 minutes by car from Zhouzhuang, among all these places we find Zhouzhuang is the best water ancient town, it is a must visit place if you like the water ancient towns in China.

酒店離古鎮景區很近，走過去估計不到200米就是檢票口了，非常方便哦。老闆人很不錯，我們帶着孩子定的標間給升級到家庭房。在這個地段價格比較便宜性價比很高，對價格敏感的首選推薦。不足之處是裝修有些年頭了設施相對有點陳舊，不過價格在那了，和五星級酒店沒法比

We arrived at Zhouzhuang in the middle of Typhoon BeBinca. The host bring out umbrella all the way from her place to our car park. We were all drenched nevertheless because the strong wind and heavy rain. At night when most restaurants were closed due to the typhoon she still called a friend who owns a local restaurant to check on whether her restaurant is open and helped us to order dinner. She also helped to carry our luggage on her scooter to Zhouzhuang entrance on the next when we checked out. Very friendly and helpful host. Her place is small but the view looking out at the river is superb.
