Caminhar em si é uma forma de prática espiritual, obtendo energia da natureza. Fui para Da Caoba para fazer trilhas e acampar com meus amigos, desafiando nossos limites físicos na rede de neve. Tia Chen e tio Wolf até prepararam um hotpot de iaque fresco para nós depois que voltamos! É uma pena que eu não tenha conseguido desafiar Le Domain com todos. Eu dirigi até Yuzixi sozinho. It took us some time to find the place since there’s no “Mercury Hotel” sign anywhere, but showing the booking text to a local helped—they even found an English speaker for us. If you’re booking here, just note that the entrance is at the back of the building, not on the main street. It’s a small entrance."

The staff was really helpful and knew how to use translation apps. Our one complaint was that the common areas (lounge and shared toilet) could be cleaned a bit better. Otherwise, we really loved the view and our stay."

"The place is very close to the bus station so it is convenient. It is by the river that flows through the city. The rooms are clean, modern, and efficient. The owner couple are so friendly and always do their best for their clients. I went on a day tour with the owner and a couple other travelers. He gave us plenty of time to walk around, no time pressure. The views are magnificent on the tour. A very good place to stay."

"A brand new homestay on the side of the national road. Hygiene: The room and the front desk are very clean and hygienic. The whole hotel is very new. There is no need to go up and down to carry luggage on the first floor. Room size: The room is about the same size as the business bed room of the hotel chain, which is very enough for parking: parking is particularly convenient, there are plenty of parking spaces in the external parking lot, and the hotel also has its own parking lot."

"I really recommend this hotel, the overall experience is directly full! The location is excellent and it is very convenient to travel and eat. UUsuário convidadoThe hotel room's oxygen supply is not available 24/7—it only starts after 5 PM (they said the equipment requires maintenance). Although the oxygen appears to be working late at night, it feels like the high-altitude sickness and hypoxia return.
I'm not sure if it's just our room or a general issue, but the hot water is inconsistent—it suddenly turns cold for half a second or a second before switching back to hot, repeating this cycle endlessly... Taking a shower was incredibly frustrating.
The floor heating takes forever to warm up, and by late at night, it's just cold and oxygen-deprived, making proper rest impossible.
The breakfast was average, and the restaurant recommended by the front desk staff was decent.

We booked this hotel specifically out of others in kangding as it was written on booking that the hotel offers a gym. We are on a training program and need a gym. When we arrived and asked about the gym they said that the gym had not been opened yet. When I asked why they advertise themselves as hotel with a gym the response was “we used to have a gym, now it’s under renovation because some of the equipment is out of use”, and when I asked if I still could use what equipment that was working, the response was simply no and that I can go to an outdoor exercise area outside in the freezing cold. So rude! Except for this the hotel was totally fine, nice rooms and good breakfast. Just don’t advertise what you don’t have online, it leaves costumers dissatisfied even if the rest was good.

GGuest UserThis was an absolutely superb stay! The hotel boasts modern facilities, and the rooms are fully equipped and brand new. The service was top-notch; from the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was warm, attentive, and always eager to help. Hygiene was impeccable, with both the rooms and public areas being spotlessly clean. The parking lot was spacious and convenient, and the breakfast spread was extensive and delicious. I felt incredibly comfortable throughout my stay, and all my travel fatigue vanished. Highly recommended!

UUsuário convidadoThis place wasn't facing the main road, so it was very quiet. The room and the view from the room were absolutely beautiful, exactly as shown in the photos. There were restaurants and a small supermarket nearby. We couldn't quite capture the view of the snow mountains during the sunset from our room with our cheap phones, but the actual view was really pretty. There was floor heating and an electric blanket as well. Hot water was plentiful and with good pressure. We had a rental car and there were plenty of parking spaces. It was pretty unbelievable that the place was at this price. It was the best place that we've stayed in our 2-week trip by far and also the most affordable.
The owner of the place is a local ******* who used to live in ********** and speaks fluent English. Unfortunately, we had to leave early to return our rental car and catch our flight, otherwise we would have stayed longer.

I can only recommend every traveller to come by this hotel. The owner and his wife are among the nicest people I've met in China. They will help you during your journey there and they are far beyond generous! 🥰
The hotel is close to a beautiful monastery, not quite in the city so you can enjoy the peacefulness of mother nature. You can enjoy the view of the beautiful twin mountains with the sunset. And If you need to go to the city, the owner always makes himself available to drive you there. 
Overall, this stay was one of the reason I enjoyed my journey in China, I really loved the friendliness over there, so don't wait anymore and go!😁

UUsuário convidadoWe happen to visit Dartsedo (or commonly know as Kanding) in October, at the time of a big national holiday. So, the town was full of visitors from the mainland. Our original hotel has rejected our booking and this hostel was one of the very few options left. We booked 3 rooms in total.
There are lots of good things that could be said about this hostel. The owner and the staff ladies were very nice and super helpful. They had accepted to wash our bag of travel clothes in the facilities free of charge, which was very kind. The rooms were what could be expected from this type of accommodation and for booking last minute. All was much nicely arranged that what we have expected for a hostel and the bedding were very clean .The common areas where also kept clean at all time. The shower area are on the small side, but all had hot water, towels, overall not great as maintenance but clean and functional.
Our room was probably the only one that was facing a brick wall not a street, but we were OK with it. Anyone visiting this area from the West, should be ready to use squat toilets, which are common in this part of the world. Our room was probably the only one equipped with it. The bed had some kind of board instead of a mattress, but still was comfortable to sleep. The location was great. Obviously if you are a Westerner, you shouldn't expect a peaceful place , but this hostel is on the main street leading to the ”Love square”, with many nice places to eat and buy what you need. And the walk up to the central town is short and pleasant.
The only recommendation we can make is to put some mosquitos repellent, Our room was for some reason had the most and that made it difficult to sleep..
On the downside, but we know it's a common problem for the town- there is no parking for the hostel and in general very difficult to find a parking place in this town. And the hostel is on the 3rd floor, so you should be prepared to take your luggage on the stairs.

GGuest UserAs soon as I stepped into this hotel in Kangding, I felt warm. The room is warmly decorated and has sufficient heating, which drives away the chill of the plateau. The night view outside the window is charming, and you can see the brilliant lights of Kangding City. The hotel also provides considerate measures to deal with altitude sickness, and the service is excellent. There are many dining options nearby and travel is convenient. Highly recommended to friends who come to Kangding!!!

JJake Vaughan 杰克Hostel de incrível com interior cozido e um óstão muito bonito que fez a estadia extra agradável! A localização é ideal para mim, porque o albergue é Alto o suficiente para que você possa ter UMA vista impressionante, MAS você ainda só TEM que andar por 10 minutos (a montanha) para chegar ao centro da cidade. As quartos eram confortáveis e limpos, e a área comum para relaxar é decorada de forma tradicional *******. A hospedeira era realmente útil e cuidadosa (sempre nos trazia chá e snacks) e tivemos algumas conversas importantes com ela sobre a vida EM Kangding. Ela NOS ajudou a organizar o transporte barato de volta para Chengdu, e até nos fez UMA refeição de fusão única e deliciosa de gelatina com salada. Recomenda-se que você procure algo com um sentimento tradicional e uma vista fantástica!
