"Seriously, everyone, you HAVE to visit Jiuchong Lake Hot Spring Hotel! I went with my bestie this time for a hot spring getaway and was completely blown away. I just had to write a glowing review and recommend it to everyone!
First off, the front desk service was such a pleasant surprise. Before we left, I was worried check-in might be a hassle, but it was anything but! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, with warm smiles. Seeing us with our bags, they immediately offered to help and even thoughtfully asked if we wanted some water to rest a bit. The check-in process itself was incredibly efficient – verifying information, inputting data, and getting our room keys, all done seamlessly in just two or three minutes. The efficiency was off the charts, and they were patient throughout, answering all our questions. It instantly made us feel incredibly welcome.
Then there's the hotel environment – absolutely stunning! The whole place feels like a huge garden, with lush green trees and vibrant flowers everywhere. The air was so fresh; taking a deep breath felt like my lungs were cleansed. The hotel layout is also very well designed. The hot spring area, accommodation, and restaurants are clearly separated, so you don't get tired walking around. Plus, there are benches everywhere, so you can sit and rest whenever you need to. Our room was even better – not only was it spotless, but it was also full of thoughtful touches. The toiletries were from well-known brands, making us feel at ease, and they even kindly provided mineral water and snacks in the room. They really know what women want!
And the hot spring experience? Beyond amazing – it’s a stress-buster! There are so many pools, and the water temperature in each one is perfectly controlled, neither too hot nor too cold. Soaking in them felt incredibly warm and comfortable; I didn't want to get out. We tried the rose pool, mugwort pool, and milk pool, each offering a different experience. After soaking, all my muscles felt relaxed, and my sleep quality even improved. The hot spring area's hygiene was also top-notch. Every pool was spotless, staff regularly cleaned them, and towels were changed promptly, which was very reassuring.
But the biggest surprise of all was the food at the restaurant! I honestly thought hotel food would be just average, but it completely exceeded my expectations! The Hakka cuisine for dinner was incredibly authentic. The Hakka pickled vegetable braised pork was savory and perfect with rice, the stuffed 'three treasures' had rich flavors, and the turnip meatballs were delightfully chewy and smooth. Every dish was unforgettable. And the portions were huge! We, two girls, ordered three dishes and couldn't even finish them all. The value for money was fantastic. The breakfast the next day was pure bliss, with an incredibly wide variety. Not only did they have local specialties like 'Yanmian' (savory noodles) and 'Boqiban' (steamed rice cake), but also various fresh fruits and pastries. Everything tasted delicious, and we left feeling super satisfied.
This trip was truly wonderful. From the environment to the service, from the hot springs to the food, every aspect was impeccable. The staff's warmth and attentiveness left a deep impression. Whether we met them in the hallway or at the restaurant, they would always greet us proactively, making us feel incredibly welcomed. I've already added this hotel to my list of hidden gems, and I'll definitely be coming back! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and unwind – you absolutely can't go wrong!"
