"This hotel needs an update. The triple/family room is actually a twin with an extra bed. As such this extra bed does not have conveniently located power points or USB ports that the other two beds have access to. The elevators are placed on two ends of the A and B building, with the lobby being more closely and easily accessed via building A, whereas the building B access to the main lobby (and indeed anywhere, except the back carpark), requires going down stairs. The property is advertised with a ”hello” icon as having experience with English speaking tourists, however, I found this to be inaccurate but the employees were patient and tolerated my half-assed Mandarin. Dining options are all located in Fortune Tower located near the Building B elevators (requiring use of stairs). We opted to try the buffet breakfast. While there is variety, considering the quality of cooking, I find the price of the buffet high. The dim sum restaurant on the 4th floor is quite good, but may perhaps be deemed crude if you compare it to the finesse of some Hong Kong dim sum places. However, for the price/quality ratio, we found it quite good. At the time we visited, they offered a Zhuang tea free, but it was also offered at the buffet hall with even more topping options. There is also some sort of food court on level 2, but we didn't have time to check it out. Even though it is near the hustle and bustle of big shopping malls, once you enter the vicinity of the hotel, the noise of the crowd melts away. One is likely to turn right or go straight from the property to the shiny malls, but we found heading out to the street on the left via the back carpark was a bit more localised. Loads of mobile phone repair shops, a camping store, and eateries that cater more to locals. A twenty minute walk takes you to the riverside. At 7pm, the lights on buildings and bridges come on. The park offers a pleasant wak, but not all the lights work and it can get quite dark. The other streets eg 3 streets. 2 alleys, were too touristy for my liking. Did not even bother with Zhongshan. The biggest plus is the property's location. I would only recommend Nanning Hotel for the convenience. If other factors are important to you, then you'd probably be better somewhere else. As there was nothing remarkable about the room or the hotel, I attach a photo of the nearby river at sunset."

"Excellent location allows you to wheel your luggage from the train station in minutes, yet most of the city is still easily accessible on foot, metro or escooter. The hotel itself is large but immaculate. A good breakfast is available. All this at a very reasonable price. Special thanks to Lee, a charming front desk man who was able to help me with my stay, speaking excellent English"

"Great location if shopping centres and city life is your thing but the street noise may be disturbing. Very standard amenities, small pool with no view, large gym, a sauna that took ages to heat up, needs upgrade/fixing. Great breakfast buffer with wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes. Overall a 4* experience, as expected, so no major +/- issues. If you want a 5* accomodation at not different price point other options are available in Nanning. I had very good experience with Ming-Du, not as central locationl as Marriott, but quieter, better views, and overall a more elevated environment."

"The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the railway station and 20 minutes from Chaoyang Pedestrian Walking Street. Plenty of food options nearby. The room is just average and with a little toilet smell and water sips from the toilet floor after showers."

"Stayed overnight for a next day morning flight which was delayed, no problem as the hotel allowed us to keep our room until 2 pm at no charge. There was no requirement for a deposit on arrival. For the price we weren't expecting much, how wrong can you be. I have stayed in hotels costing four times what we paid that just didn't come close to this. The room was air conditioned, well prepared and clean with an excellent shower which is a must for us. On departure a member of staff helped us with our luggage the short walk to departures, he only left us once he had found and escorted us to the correct check in. A very pleasant and helpful young man. All staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Next time we visit family in Nanning we will definitely use this hotel on arrival and departure. A very pleasant experience!"

"This hotel is excellent; staffs are very helpful. Excellent spot for this hotel is very convenient for travel by high-speed railway train, which about walking distance 300 meters to Nanning Railway Station. Also taking coach bus, which is next doorstep nearby at this hotel to Nanning Wuxu International Airport, no need to book Taxi/DD. The bus fare is cheap 20 RMB and the journey about 45 minutes. To move around the vicinity for varieties of food stores is very convenient as well. Will visit again at this hotel next time at Nanning city."

"We had a wonderful stay and were truly impressed by how extremely service-oriented the staff were—everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. A special mention goes to the lady who assisted us during check-in; unfortunately, we didn’t catch her name, but she made us feel very welcome right from the start. The laundry service was a big plus and very convenient. Housekeeping also did an excellent job keeping the room clean and comfortable throughout our stay. On top of that, there was a very sweet cleaning lady in the lobby who proactively helped us with our luggage when we checked out, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The breakfast spread was also really good, with plenty of variety and a great way to start the day. Overall, the level of service truly stood out and made our stay extra pleasant."

"I was really satisfied with the hotel I stayed at during this trip. The room was very clean, had no strange smells, and the bed was comfortable, so I slept really well at night. The bathroom had plenty of hot water, which made showering very convenient, and all the toiletries were provided. The front desk staff had a good attitude and check-in was quick. They were also very patient when answering our questions. The location was decent too, making it easy to go out for meals and shopping. The room size was appropriate, with good lighting and ventilation, and the soundproofing was acceptable – I wasn't disturbed by any noise. It offers great value for money, with no hidden fees, making for a worry-free stay. Overall, there were no major downsides, and I would definitely choose to stay here again if I'm ever in the area. I truly recommend it to everyone."

"We stayed at the Yeste International Hotel (Chaoyang Square District Government) for five nights in mid November. Here's the pros and cons: Pros: 1) Good location. Within about 5 - 10 minutes walk, you will find yourself in the heart of one of Nanning's busiest shopping and dining district. 2) Good buns and vegetable dishes at breakfast. (If you'd like a piece of toast, however, there's no jam or butter. No cereals either. This is odd considering that the hotel markets itself as ”international”.) Cons: 1) The Yeste we stayed at promoted itself as ”opened in 2019” but this is misleading! It had been operated as some other hotels before the Yeste brand ”opened” the property as its own. The rooms may have been renovated but many details are clearly worn out from yellow caulking, slow drainage, to moldy cracks. The bathrooms are excruciatingly small. You can't access the full countertop without cramming your legs against the toilet bowl. (We stayed at the ”super” room. Looking back at the online photos posted by the hotel, we couldn't believe that's actually the room we'd stayed at. The fisheye effect used in taking those photos are misleading.) 2) The property allows smoking in some areas. Even if you booked a ”non-smoking” room, chances are that you will ”enjoy” second-hand smoking in the elevator, hallways, even in your own room. 3) Security is non-existent. There is a lobby at the front, but through a side door, which is open 24/7, anyone and everyone can come and go at will. The hotel shares the building with other tenants (businesses). From food delivery, other tenants in the building, to patrons of different businesses, the entire building is an open book. With the push of a button, anyone can access your hotel floors anytime of the day. Overall, if you are looking for a budget hotel to stay in the city, this property is okay. If you expect quality, security, or services, this is not the place to be."

"Pros: - excellent location, lots of shopping and restaurants around the hotel which is right in the middle of the walking street - friendly reception staff who gave me the option to change the room type if I am unhappy with what I have booked - free laundry service and the laundry room is well equipped - rest area next to reception that has coffee, tea, mints, eye masks etc for guests to help themselves - Smart & clean room - very comfortable bed and 2 types of pillows given Cons: - soundproofing; I could hear someone snoring from another room"
