This Chinese New Year, I decided to spend my holiday at the Mehood Lestie Hotel Nanning, expecting just a standard trip. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised by a heartwarming experience that felt like family. On the first day of the ***** New Year, I excitedly headed to Qingxiu Mountain, a Nanning landmark, for a stroll. The mountain was a festive hive of activity, packed with tourists. After enjoying the scenery, I realized the difficulty of traveling during the Spring Festival – getting a taxi near the scenic area was nearly impossible. There were very few empty cabs passing by, and ride-hailing apps showed long queues with no success after a prolonged wait. As dusk approached, I started to feel anxious. In desperation, I decided to call the hotel's front desk, explaining my predicament of being stranded at the scenic spot with no way back. To my surprise, a hotel staff member named Xiaotian, upon hearing my situation, didn't hesitate for a second. She immediately assured me she would find a solution. Not long after, Xiaotian arrived at the entrance of Qingxiu Mountain on the hotel's electric scooter, ready to pick me up. On the way back, she carefully rode, constantly checking on me and reminding me to hold tight and stay warm. Seeing her determined figure braving the cold wind, my anxiety instantly transformed into immense gratitude. Back at the hotel, she busied herself helping me with my luggage and checking the room temperature. Her thoughtful care made me feel incredibly welcome and at home during this Spring Festival away from my hometown. This experience truly highlighted the Mehood Lestie Hotel Nanning's customer-centric service philosophy. Xiaotian demonstrated the warmth of their service through her actions. This unexpected help not only solved my immediate problem but also made this Year of the Horse Spring Festival exceptionally memorable and precious.

The rooms/bathrooms are nice and clean. I like the adjustable lighting system and air-conditioning in the rooms. Several sockets (Chinese system) for your cables. Hi-tech toilet, good flushing.Toilet and shower room are side by side but separated with own doors. The hotel is located directly in front of a big shopping-mall including a supermarket. So you have short ways :) Nice atmosphere at night outside. There is a laundry room with several washing machines, dryers and other equipment. Breakfast room with air condition and a nice selection of various food including western cuisine. My Tipp: book a room farer away from the outer air-condition systems outside the walls. Because those are pretty loud and the noise will vibrate into the hallway and into the rooms. Service stuff does not all speak English but they were committed, professional and helpful. Thank you. My sister & I chose to stay here for five nights because of its location (close to IKEA shopping mall & its close proximity to the metro) as well as its competitive pricing. There are many pros about this hotel: - superb service (very responsive, helpful & polite staff) - the room is quiet, clean & spacious - there is also a laundry room with one washing machine & one dryer as well as an steam iron; washing detergent is provided as well, which is a bonus. - although only two bottles of drinking water is provided FOC every day, we managed to get an extra four bottles when we made the request at the front desk The cons, which I hope can be improved on are: - the wifi: we weren’t able to use it the whole time we stayed here, which, I think is the biggest flaw of the hotel - there’s only one washing machine & one dryer. For a hotel this size, it’s reasonable to provide at least two of each. Will I consider staying here again and/or recommend it to my friends & relatives? The answer is a definite YES but I hope that management will address the above issues mentioned above as soon as possible. Thank you

Excellent hotel. Very modern and clean. Noise insulation was great. Our rooms were near the lift lobby. No noise issues. The bed was the most comfortable one amongst the five hotels we stayed at during our visit in Guangxi. Laundry room available. Free of charge. The basin, shower room and toilet were very clean. Housekeeping did a good job. All the white towels were comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast. I liked steamed sweet potato, corn and yam. Lots of healthy options. The food presentation was great. Quality coffee was provided. It would be great if the hard boiled eggs were not overcooked. The hotel is located two stations away from Qingxiu park station. The Metro is right outside the hotel. Only 2 - 3 yuan away from Chaoyang and MixC mall. Ample choice of eateries surrounding the hotel. However, mostly Chinese cuisine. The morning market and fruit market are within the proximity. The receptionists were very professional. One of them helped us (5 pax) to book taxis to the airport. It cost CNY124 to the airport. Meter taxi. Overall, we had a pleasant 3 night stay. Highly recommended.

This is a hotel I must stay in every time I come to Nanning. The location is great, close to Nanning East Station, with shuttle service very convenient. There is a commercial area downstairs with food and drink, so you don't have to go too far to find food. The breakfast is rich in variety, with milk coffee and so on. There is also a laundry room and gym. The laundry room has separate washing and drying, which is easy to operate. The view is also very good, with a wide and bright view, comfortable and spacious. The handsome guys and girls at the front desk are very enthusiastic every time they serve, I like it very much!

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel! I was with my family with 2 young children and they were accommodating from the beginning. They found us a room that had extra space and gave us all that we needed to be comfortable. We stayed for about a week and felt very happy. The staff was extremely kind and professional, especially 小彭 who spoke English. She was our point of contact whenever we needed anything. They helped with our bags when we arrived and gave us various amenities. We had laundry service, room delivery, and they even helped us figure things out in Chinese. Also, the breakfast is more than your average continental breakfast. It has a wide selection of hot foods and authentic Chinese dishes. We were very pleased. This will be our go-to hotel whenever we need a temporary place to stay. And we will be recommended E-Charm to all of our friends, too. Thank you E-Charm.

Everything was excellent, from the bed in the bedroom which is very comfortable, the sofa in the living room, very clean bathroom. In the bathroom you will find everything you need: toothbrush, toothpaste, accessories for shaving, bib, robe, slippers, shampoo, ear plugs. The staff is very kind. In front of the hotel there is a park where sometimes there are mini-shows and when there are no shows you can relax on a bench as it is very quiet. For sure, if I have another chance, I will come back with great pleasure.

We stayed at the Yeste International Hotel (Chaoyang Square District Government) for five nights in mid November. Here's the pros and cons: Pros: 1) Good location. Within about 5 - 10 minutes walk, you will find yourself in the heart of one of Nanning's busiest shopping and dining district. 2) Good buns and vegetable dishes at breakfast. (If you'd like a piece of toast, however, there's no jam or butter. No cereals either. This is odd considering that the hotel markets itself as ”international”.) Cons: 1) The Yeste we stayed at promoted itself as ”opened in 2019” but this is misleading! It had been operated as some other hotels before the Yeste brand ”opened” the property as its own. The rooms may have been renovated but many details are clearly worn out from yellow caulking, slow drainage, to moldy cracks. The bathrooms are excruciatingly small. You can't access the full countertop without cramming your legs against the toilet bowl. (We stayed at the ”super” room. Looking back at the online photos posted by the hotel, we couldn't believe that's actually the room we'd stayed at. The fisheye effect used in taking those photos are misleading.) 2) The property allows smoking in some areas. Even if you booked a ”non-smoking” room, chances are that you will ”enjoy” second-hand smoking in the elevator, hallways, even in your own room. 3) Security is non-existent. There is a lobby at the front, but through a side door, which is open 24/7, anyone and everyone can come and go at will. The hotel shares the building with other tenants (businesses). From food delivery, other tenants in the building, to patrons of different businesses, the entire building is an open book. With the push of a button, anyone can access your hotel floors anytime of the day. Overall, if you are looking for a budget hotel to stay in the city, this property is okay. If you expect quality, security, or services, this is not the place to be.
