"Thoughtfully designed and new rooms - simple but elegant and has everything you need for a quality stay. My room had a view of the mountains and green fields and it was a great sight to wake up to in the morning. There are plenty of places and balconies on both sides of the building for you to slow down, rest and enjoy tea.
Special compliment to the owner and his staff. They helped me with my luggage up the stairs, chatted with me every time they saw me, and invited me to drink with them one night. I made some great friends and can’t wait to come back.
If you’re in menghai, you won’t regret staying here!"

"A very pleasant stay experience! The decoration style of the B&B is very unique and full of artistic atmosphere. The rooms are consistent with the pictures. I like the decoration style very much. UUsuário convidadoStaying at Mukelan hotel was such a special experience for our family. Nestled on the side of a tea mountain that faced a nearby village, it felt like we were suspended in the clouds and could truly unwind and slowly enjoy the peaceful, beautiful scenery all around us.
A major reason our stay was so memorable was the staff. The staff, from the manager, to the driver, cleaners, cook, and tea connoisseur, made us feel truly welcome and well taken care of. Upon arrival to Xishuangbanna train station, we were picked up in a Mercedes-Benz van with leather seats and slippers to change into. When the hotel happened to be less busy for a couple days, the very thoughtful manager and tea connoisseur arranged an impromptu day trip for us based on our preferences. At the hotel, we loved the daily tea drinking sessions, where the wonderful connoisseur taught us many new things about pu’er tea, the star commodity of the region. We also made pu’er tea cakes, played mahjong, and enjoyed daily hikes on the secluded mountain trails.
If you’re looking to get away from the city and unwind in a beautiful place where you can finally hear yourself think, I could not recommend Mukelan hotel highly enough! You’ll be so happy you stayed here.

Seu Jardim de Casa está a Quatro quilómetros de cima Da Montanha do povo. A maioria é árvore Antiga e Cincocentos Anos. A Fortuna Na Fortaleza Da Montanha profunda, e extraordinários champanhes. Pode ser dito que é o representante Da Montanha Nanchuan.Se você não estiver atravessando a Montanha, experimente. Sempre sentia que a Montanha Nanchuan era Como um segredo. A voz do ar lá era Muito diferente do mundo exterior. Aquela silêncio, que me deu um sono bonito Na tarde EM que entrou Na montanha. Eu acho que EU tinha alcançado o primeiro objetivo.

PPatriciaDizA Hidden Gem in the Heart of China's Tea Plantations
Our stay at this homestay was nothing short of magical. We traveled as a group of eight, including two young children, three grandparents, and three adults, and every single one of us had an incredible time. Nestled amidst lush tea plantations, the setting is absolutely stunning. Each morning, we woke up to breathtaking sunrises and a serene mist that blanketed the landscape. The house itself is a work of art—crafted entirely of wood and with impeccable aesthetic taste that reflects a deep respect for nature.
But as beautiful as the surroundings and accommodations are, the true highlight of our stay was the hospitality of the host. In our three years in China, we have never experienced anything like it. From the moment we arrived, it felt as though we were visiting a dear friend rather than staying in a hotel. Her warmth, generosity, and genuine care made us feel completely at home.
The food was exceptional, and we were treated to fresh fruits and tea throughout the day. She showed special care for our children, teaching them (and us!) how to make tea, and even accompanied us on a walk to share her knowledge of the local flora. One day, she surprised us with her hidden talent as a musician, singing traditional Chinese songs while playing the guitar and drums. Her smile and positive energy were infectious, leaving a lasting impression on all of us.
This homestay was more than just a place to stay—it was an unforgettable experience filled with beauty, warmth, and cultural connection. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories, knowing this was the best place we've ever stayed in China. If you're looking for a place that offers not just comfort but also an extraordinary sense of belonging, this is it. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserIt is a treasure hotel hidden in the mountains. I highly recommend it! First of all, the environment is good. It is really comfortable. There are birds singing and flowers blooming around. It is cool in the morning and evening and not very hot during the day. It is much better than the noisy and hot Gaozhuang. It is said that the rainy season in summer is also cool and comfortable, and there is no harassment from insects and mosquitoes (probably because of the high altitude, more than 1,500), and there will be a sea of clouds in the rainy season. The hotel itself is decorated and decorated in a high-end and elegant manner, with exquisite materials. There is an outdoor infinity pool and a beautiful water-friendly landscape (Nannuozi can be photographed at sunset, and the Nannuozi of Huawei Mate60pro is taken here). There are several luxurious landscape tea rooms where you can enjoy unlimited tea, chat and rest... Finally, I would like to recommend the hotel owners (both owners and shareholders have successful careers in Beijing. After traveling around the famous mountains and rivers, they have selected this place. They live here all year round, which shows that they are true love). O design é tranquilizador e a natureza circundante é um acolhimento para OS habitantes Da cidade, o que significa que você deve estar pronto para esta proximidade à natureza (mosquito repellente e auriculares para as cordas de grilhão precoces).
Foi o início perfeito para a nossa exploração em Yunnan, enquanto o hospedeiro e a família de seu irmão nos levaram sob as suas asas para nos mostrar a plantação de chá, a tortura e como apreciar o chá local. Esta foi, de fato, uma experiência mais bela da hospitalidade mais quente e uma viva visão sobre a comunidade e histórias de desenvolvimento que tem sido experimentada. Aprendemos tanto sobre as variedades e tradições de chá aqui, dando-nos perspetivas antropológicas e inspiradoras histórias de resistência e crescimento. The rooms have a balcony and a clear view of the hills.
The river promenade is right on due the hotel, and a wide range of restaurants are in a few minutes walk distance.
