"A Hidden Gem in the Heart of China's Tea Plantations Our stay at this homestay was nothing short of magical. We traveled as a group of eight, including two young children, three grandparents, and three adults, and every single one of us had an incredible time. Nestled amidst lush tea plantations, the setting is absolutely stunning. Each morning, we woke up to breathtaking sunrises and a serene mist that blanketed the landscape. The house itself is a work of art—crafted entirely of wood and with impeccable aesthetic taste that reflects a deep respect for nature. But as beautiful as the surroundings and accommodations are, the true highlight of our stay was the hospitality of the host. In our three years in China, we have never experienced anything like it. From the moment we arrived, it felt as though we were visiting a dear friend rather than staying in a hotel. Her warmth, generosity, and genuine care made us feel completely at home. The food was exceptional, and we were treated to fresh fruits and tea throughout the day. She showed special care for our children, teaching them (and us!) how to make tea, and even accompanied us on a walk to share her knowledge of the local flora. One day, she surprised us with her hidden talent as a musician, singing traditional Chinese songs while playing the guitar and drums. Her smile and positive energy were infectious, leaving a lasting impression on all of us. This homestay was more than just a place to stay—it was an unforgettable experience filled with beauty, warmth, and cultural connection. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories, knowing this was the best place we've ever stayed in China. If you're looking for a place that offers not just comfort but also an extraordinary sense of belonging, this is it. Highly recommended!"

"Staying at Mukelan hotel was such a special experience for our family. Nestled on the side of a tea mountain that faced a nearby village, it felt like we were suspended in the clouds and could truly unwind and slowly enjoy the peaceful, beautiful scenery all around us. A major reason our stay was so memorable was the staff. The staff, from the manager, to the driver, cleaners, cook, and tea connoisseur, made us feel truly welcome and well taken care of. Upon arrival to Xishuangbanna train station, we were picked up in a Mercedes-Benz van with leather seats and slippers to change into. When the hotel happened to be less busy for a couple days, the very thoughtful manager and tea connoisseur arranged an impromptu day trip for us based on our preferences. At the hotel, we loved the daily tea drinking sessions, where the wonderful connoisseur taught us many new things about pu’er tea, the star commodity of the region. We also made pu’er tea cakes, played mahjong, and enjoyed daily hikes on the secluded mountain trails. If you’re looking to get away from the city and unwind in a beautiful place where you can finally hear yourself think, I could not recommend Mukelan hotel highly enough! You’ll be so happy you stayed here."

"This stay was perfect! From the moment you step into the hotel, the warm and thoughtful front desk service makes you feel warm. The room is clean and tidy, the layout is warm, the bed is comfortable, and lying down feels like being gently wrapped in clouds. The bathroom facilities are brand new and the hot water supply is stable. The hotel has breakfast, gym and laundry. I highly recommend it to all my friends who are traveling to Menghai. I will choose here without hesitation next time!"

"西雙版納悦椿温泉度假酒店（悦榕集團旗下），位於雲南西雙版納勐海縣勐巴拉國際旅遊度假區。因為從西雙版納去景邁山，中間會經過勐海休整，定了這家温泉酒店，來了之後發現超出預期；酒店邊上就是勐幻愛情莊園，酒店送免費門票，裏面有不少玩樂設施，比如雪鄉、孔雀、駱駝、彩虹滑道、山頂觀景台；温泉建議晚上再去泡，白天太熱；酒店環境和前台zhangluyao小姐姐服務都不錯；距離勐海市區也不遠，可以去喝大益茶和茶王夜市逛逛！"

"12月就提前定了兩個房間，下午2點40左右到的，根本沒有提示牌，後來服務員出來接我們，不然完全找不到。 到了樓上被告知房間沒有收拾出來，我們表示可以等，結果一進到還沒打掃完的房間，就聞到一股子臭味，服務員説，之前的客人帶了貓狗所以很臭，但是那個臭味真的完全受不了，後來服務員又去拿了消毒液拖地，然後就是臭味混合了消毒液，味道更加難以形容。 我們要求換一個房間，因為另外的房間是正常的，衹是衞生還沒有做好。管理員表示全部房間訂出，調換不了。要求一間正常的住宿房間，這個要求很過分？我們是正常付費訂房，不是免費住宿。 後來經攜程上留的民宿聯繫電話溝通，才同意給予調換，也就是説房間是有的，感受特別差，衹會強調春節人特別多，這都不是給客人一間臭味十足房間的理由！"
