"The hotel is very near to dagu glacier entrance, 5 min drive only. The owner also so nice to help us, as we arrived at the hotel very late at night. They also helped to arrange car for us to go Dagu Glacier and even to sent us to the Maoxian train station. The room is very big andcomfortable. We really had pleseant stay here. Recommended to everyone to book this hotel. Btw, we are from Malaysia🥰"

"The owner was soooo nice and extremely helpful! She picked us up from the bus station, sent us to dagu and picked us up to send us back to the bus station! They have free meals provided 10/10 would recommend and would come back every time if i had the chance! The rooms are also very amazing. Very spacious, clean and visually appealing! Super comfy too!"

Hotel is situated separately from other business and need to drive if you forget slomething and want to go convenient store. The breakfast is no selection and very local."

Staying in this cabin was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking glacier views right outside our window — it felt like a scene from a postcard. The cabin itself was cozy, warm, and beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern comforts.
Staff were friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape into nature with a view you’ll never forget, this is the place.

GGuest UserThe hotel is nicely decorated and clean. We loved the big windows and view. Beds are comfortable and the owners are nice. It's located up a hill, and they don't have a restaurant, so if you don't have a car and want to eat dinner, it's difficult to walk back up. I booked this hotel because they have a room with a big hot tub. But it was a big disappointment. The water source for this tub is a kitchen type faucet, which does not work for a big tub. It took hours just to fill one-fourth of it, and water coming out was not hot enough. And even if it were hot enough, the hours that it will take to fill the tub would eventually make the water cold. It was too late that we realized this so we ended up not using it. There were a lot of things wrong with this tub. When you want to soak in a hot tub, it would only take a few minutes before the water turns cold, so you would want to drain some water, and refill with hot water several times. But clearly with the type of faucet they put there, that was impossible.
Another thing, when we were eating our breakfast, the owner was smoking in the next table.

Reservou um quarto com um tubo de primavera quente, para que possamos relaxar depois do jantar. Infelizmente, o pessoal nos disse para não usá-lo, porque a água quente é um pouco quente, é melhor tomar um banho e dormir cedo. Há um projector em vez de uma TV. Temos de se ligar para o canal local, então podemos ver o canal local.Mais UMA vez, estamos desapontados de que só podemos escolher o velho drama livre para ver até que estejamos cansados e dormir.

The room was beautifully designed—clean, warm, and cozy—with large windows that opened to stunning views of the valley and cloud-covered peaks. Waking up to that scenery was absolutely magical.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive. They helped with everything from local travel tips to meal arrangements, and their hospitality made us feel truly at home.
The location is ideal for anyone planning to visit Heishui or explore the surrounding nature. Quiet, peaceful, and far from the crowds—just the way a mountain getaway should be.
Highly recommended. We would love to come back again soon!

UUsuário convidadoThe room is very spacious, clean, and comfy. This is the only hotel I found during my entire trip that has a bidet. The thing I appreciate the most is the service. The staff there were extremely welcoming and warm; they even offered us fruits and candies. When the kettle had a problem, they delivered a new one along with a bunch of water bottles without us even asking for it. I truly appreciate everything about this hotel.
When I left my belongings behind, they immediately contacted me through WeChat and offered to send my items via SF Express. Even until the very end, they continued to provide 100% service. I’ve never written such a long review before, but this time I felt it was totally worth it. I’ll definitely come back to this hotel if I visit 黑水 again.

UUsuário convidadoComfortable and cozy room with Japanese-style decorations. I especially love the heated bed topper. The hotel staff, which we think is also the owner, is really nice and friendly. It is a little far from Heishui downtown, but there was nothing to do in town at night anyway, so no issue there. Having said that the hotel is not close to Heishui city, the staff offered to bring us dinner, so eating was not an issue.
The hotel is located close to Dagu Glacier with around 5-min taxi ride.

NnalzanarmiThis place is a one of a kind stay, if you've never been to China, this stay will put you in awe. This stay is more if a homestay owned by families. Rich with ******* heritage and hospitality. We were quite surprised that they said to just go upstairs and choose any room we liked 🤣. We really enjoyed our stay although the amenities were quite lacking but just enough. At night we were asking the owner if there is any nearby convenience store to buy some snacks but all stores were closed at the time. But the very kind uncle (owner) invited us to walk with him to his friend's store in the village. The store was closed but he called his friend to open the shop just for us ♥️. Overall a once in a lifetime memorable experience. 👍

NnaruTongI am Thai🇹🇭. I stayed in a room for three people for two days. The cleanliness was still not up to standard, and the bathroom had a slight smell. However, on December 30, 2024, it snowed at night. When I woke up and looked out the window, everything was covered in snow. It was incredibly beautiful, like a scene from a fairy tale.
The free food provided was steamed buns, boiled eggs, and bland rice porridge, which were just okay. But don’t forget to ask for a WeChat taxi contact because taxis are very limited. Just in case there’s no car available for the return trip from Tagong.

SSherleanThe hotel was new, high-technology and the bed was good however it was not a comfortable stay. Light in front of the bathroom is sensor light so it was constantly on and off when you moving on the bed. Hotel doesn’t use real towel so you have to use the bath robe instead and it is smell of smoke. The hotel was overbooked so they decided to downgrade one of my room saying that I booked lower than the standard rate and my room should be downgraded. That’s made there are no spaces to open the luggage. The owner does not understand the fact that guest should get the room type that they booked no matter the price they paid.
