4 of us rented two rooms with two queen beds for three nights. Unfortunately the rooms have not been updated or maintained so you're dealing with rattling windows that don't close all the way, caulk coming off of the tub, poor ventilation in the bathroom, only one drawer to try and share, worn carpet, and one small nightstand to share. There is also significant air in the pipes so when you turn on the water at the one small sink the air causes the water to shoot all over the very small countertop. For a room with two queen beds the bathroom is very small and there is no storage. Also; the sink didn't drain well. The main pool area is crowded because they don't have the bar open at the other pool that's available. Also, the hot tub is filled with children 95% of the time which doesn't allow adults to enjoy it. On Friday evening we dropped in at the lobby bar to have a nightcap. The bar was short staffed and the bartender was in an exasperated state so was quite rude. The only bright spot for our stay was the food quality from the JWB restaurant. The prices are ridiculous but at least the food was delicious. With fees and taxes we spent over $500 per night. I've stayed at much better maintained hotels for half that price. Will definitely stay elsewhere the next time we're in Palm Springs.

Perfect environment, great value for money. Well-equipped facilities add memorable memories during a short trip. The colorful mix makes people feel happy, and I am very moved by the pet-friendliness. If you come to Palm Springs next time, you will definitely come here.

My children loved it and were super impressed with the room, the pool being open during the pandemic was such a relief to a parent that traveled alone. Overall, had a great experience and staff was very helpful and friendly!!

Great location right in the literal heart of palm springs shopping and dining district. Big props to Darren at the front desk, he's the perfect ambassador for any kind of hospitality locale... and has the best kind of welcoming energy. Hotel rooms are very spacious suites (city view) but are truly a bit dated... Good: beds and couches are both very good as are the tv's and air conditioning, and amazing water pressure! Darren at front desk and the very timely valet team. Bad: style and decor, curtains in living space just feel like a roadside motel, aging bathroom design and furnishings, uninviting balcony space. All in all, a good stay and great location at an aging hotel that could be iconic if given the chance.

The location is fantastic. There are plenty of good restaurants, bars, shops within walking distance and walking is easy since the city of Palm Springs is basically flat! I parked in the hotel lot and walked everywhere I wanted to go. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar but I knew this when I booked so no problem. They do have a small cantina type room where you can buy snacks, some sandwiches, drinks, coffee, etc and ice machines everywhere. The service was very good, all employees where helpful and friendly. My room was very clean and good sized with a large bathroom. The room location was also good, on the ground floor near the pool with a view of a parklike courtyard. The pool was large and crowded (I arrived on Saturday afternoon) and everyone seemed to be having a good time. I took a dip the next morning right after maintenance finished cleaning the pool and was the only one there, it was great! I will definitely stay again at the Palm Mountain Resort.

We received this hotel as a replacement for the Palm Mountain Resort where works were underway in the rooms we would stay. They sold this as 'sister hotel', we were allowed to stay here for a night without extra cost. The hotel is a little nearby, when we checked in Thursday afternoon, it gave us a feeling of Las Vegas: in the lobby there was a bar with keihard music, and there was a pool and bar party on the way with scarcely dressed dames and gentlemen who were clearly continuing the night club party next to the hotel. The swimming pool is a concrete hot island in the indoor patio and has nothing The staff were friendly and helpful; valet parking is required and those valets were fast and efficient, and the lobby called me to the air tramway to check if there were still cards. The room was large and comfortable, with good Queensize beds. In addition, I would not recommend this hotel for tourists like us (families on road trip) , rather for those who want to sit in the outdoor neighborhood of palm springs in action.

The hotel's website states ”luxurious rooms.” (See attached screen shot from CT website) Companion & I stayed here 4 nights & this is clearly an overreach. We were happy with many aspects of our stay; nice location, lush clean grounds, cool pool area with wooden tropical tiki decor and polite & helpful staff. The rooms were another story. The bed & furniture were old. The blanket was so old it was well worn. The wall air-conditioner was noisy. The complimentary room coffee was terrible quality. The bathroom was tiny. When I questioned the front desk about the luxurious rooms, they told me they would be putting a lot of money into this place this summer. This hotel was reasonably priced for the area. I understand I need to do more research on accommodations & we have to spend more money. ”You get what you pay for.”

Nice for the price.

I am taking the time to write this review because we were hesitant about our stay given the negative ones below. We had THE BEST time at the Ace. The mid-week vibes were great, super low key guests. Great pool time. What stood out was the food. We ate breakfast and lunch every day and loved everything we had. I can't recommend the Ace enough and I can't wait to come back next winter.

The location is very good, and the conditions are stronger than the average motel. Clean and hygienic, warm. Can't fault it, and you don't need a bike at this price point. Hope to come again in the future
