Good walk from Namba station, directly opposite Kuromon market. There was an issue with our booking upon check in but instead of helping us with it, the receptionist said to cancel and make a new booking - which makes zero sense to me at all. Receptionists can’t speak a lick of English and will converse with you back and forth through Google translate, so be prepared for a lot miscommunication. Room was alright, nothing great or amazing. It’s a thing in Japan to have such tiny rooms so we didn’t expect much. Basic amenities given, and if you need extra things like combs or shavers you can get them at the lobby. They said there was free coffee and donuts there 24/7 but every time we came down there was never any donuts lol. Receptionist also helped us to book a luggage delivery 👍🏼

Staying at Kuromon Crystal Hotel was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped into the elegant lobby, I knew I was in for a wonderful experience. The staff members were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The rooms at Kuromon Crystal Hotel were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. I particularly loved the attention to detail in the design, with modern amenities and luxurious touches that added to the overall ambiance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city. What truly set Kuromon Crystal Hotel apart was its prime location. Situated in the heart of the city, it provided easy access to popular attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. I enjoyed being able to walk to Kuromon Market and indulge in the local street food. It was a food lover's paradise! The hotel also offered excellent facilities, including a well-equipped gym and a relaxing spa. After a day of sightseeing, I treated myself to a rejuvenating massage, which was the perfect way to unwind. Lastly, I must mention the exceptional service I received throughout my stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met, from arranging transportation to recommending local hidden gems. Their warm hospitality truly made me feel like a valued guest. Overall, I highly recommend Kuromon Crystal Hotel to anyone visiting the area. It exceeded my expectations in every way, and I can't wait to return on my next trip. The location is unbeatable, multiple convenience stores around, 7-10min walk to Dotonburi and various stations, lots of restaurants and quiet streets at night time. The hotel also has a cafeteria with free tea, water, melon soda, coca cola and other refreshments that are available 24/7. The room itself is simple but very comfortable and has everything you could need. Rooms are cleaned daily and amenities replenished too, even if you opt out of cleaning by sticking a ”Do not clean” magnet on the door, they then put everything in a bag and hang it on the handle. The staff is mostly professional, speak decent English and the check-in/out process was easy. Where it loses points is due to the following: On one of our big days out exploring, we came back to the hotel at around 8PM. The Front Lobby was filled with a big and disorganised Chinese group/family of 12-16 people who were scattered throughout the lobby. They did not all have a hotel key card, I know this because there was an employee by the escalator using his key on the elevator to send up them to their rooms. So my girlfriend and I got our keys out, got to the front of the other elevator and showed our cards as a way of gesturing if we could go up. The employee rejected us and we got the idea that we had to wait. Now I don't know about you, but I don't see why I need to wait for something that isn't my problem. Their lobby was littered and the tourists were being loud and screaming at eachother from across the room. We were not going to wait. Line them up in front of one elevator and use the other one for people who are entering and exiting, and if no one is entering and exiting, then let them use both elevators. Such unprofessionalism. We decided to leave and go for a walk and kill time at the local convienience store, but it definitely ruined our day and experience with the hotel. Another reason is I asked if they could make a restaurant reservation on my behalf, the bird cafe that I wanted to go to had a registration and booking process that was not friendly for tourists. It required me to write my Japanese Name for some reason, as well as phone number. The hotel said they could not make such reservations for me. I ended up walking in and was lucky it was a weekday and it wasn't as packed. Also be sure to check how many adults is listed on the room you plan to book, I didn't check properly and mine said 1 Adult, even though it fits 2 and the amenities were stocked for 2, this mistake of mine cost me 14,000yen (2000yen a day) because I had my girlfriend with me.

Location of hotel was great, walkable distance to Namba Station and Dotonbori Street. Room size was also bigger than a typical Japan hotel and much more comfortable for a couple as well. We received a free upgrade to a room with a kitchenette, thank you for the amazing hospitality!

The automatic check-in was difficult to understand, but the manager was nearby so she explained it to me. I was grateful for the face pack gift. Since it's a dormitory, you can hear your roommate's snoring and sneezing, but I think it's fine for those who don't mind.

Great location. Very near to Dotonburi as well as the Nipponbashi Station. The staff was helpful and mindful. The room was bigger than expectation. Overall was satisfying during the stay of 4 nights.

Things the hotel did well: 1) staff - very helpful. I found the non-Japanese staff more eager to help and courteous. 2) shampoo and soap from Pola (super!). 3) 24 hours reception 4) location was good with convenience store nearby as well 5) room was well lit!! Real plus point. And room size for twin room was decent (enough space to open 2 large suitcases!). Could be improved: 6) there’s no full length or half length mirror in the room so you’re always left guessing how you look before you go out. 7) aircon is centrally controlled each floor, so if someone turned on the heater, everyone on the same floor will be sleeping in heat (or without cold aircon). 8) the toilet is soooooooo small you can barely move without banging into something. 9) the pillow is extremely flat and doesn’t provide a comfortable sleep.

Amazing stay! From the hotel location, staff and room, we thoroughly enjoyed staying here. While it was located near busy Doutonbori, it was tucked away in a quiet but still convenient and accessible location. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The front desk also provides all the necessary items you need to make your stay comfortable such as a good variety of tea, body sponges, shaving needs etc. Hotel also offers around the clock free beverages. The room itself was very clean, spacious and very comfortable. There really wasn't any major downfalls aside from maybe an early check out time that i'm not used to, 10am but I still highly recommend!

We have a pleasant stay with my son at Crystal hotel II.The room was clean but bit small and there’s no enough room for the luggage. Reception is nice but there’s a guy (staff) that is not accomodating. Overall , we love the place. Be back again.

It was good to be close to the station, but the location was difficult to understand. It was new and clean. The room was double in an ordinary business type but narrow. I was glad that there was a sofa. The lounge was suspended for drinks. There was no explanation at check-in and it was a waste of feet.
