Excellent if you are on a budget better than Rosin Inn which is brits tend to go the room worked out at £45 per night for a family of four plus you get free buffet breakfast food nice hot and cold food and hot and cold drinks fruit and yogurts scrambled eggs bacon everything is their no parking fee we didn’t pay a resort fee either staff lovlely twice my son put an egg in the microwave and it exploded they never complained room spotless free shuttles to both Disney and universal

Much better than 1st time. Hotel is under remodel.. They just finished their pool and it looks great.. They're working on the roof. The rooms still need some work. But they are coming a long way. Price is right. There is a deposit which is I believe $50. You do get it back and roughly about 7 to 10 days depending on your credit card. It is not pet friendly unless you have a service dog. Hotel is right before the Orlando health Doctor Phillips. Rooms come with a microwave and a Mini refrigerator. They do serve a breakfast that you must eat out front. You cannot take it back to your room. All their handicapped rooms or on the 1st floor.

I wish I had more nice things to say about our visit to Rosen Shingle Creek. Overall it was a nice stay, but little negatives piled up throughout, resulting in this average review. I brought my family along with me for a very large conference being held at the Orlando Convention Center, and the RSC was an official conference hotel, so many attendees were staying here. PROS . The staff! Overall, wonderful, friendly, engaging and responsive. Shout out to Heather and Mike at the Cat-Tails bar and poolside service. We had an Amazon Fresh order scheduled (there is a small fridge in the room) and the bell stand delivered it within 5 minutes of us requesting it. My mom and niece were also staying at the hotel, and the front desk attendant thoughtfully placed our rooms right next to each other. . Conference management. We had a great conference rate and the acknowledgment of our (significant) presence was thoughtful. Overall, the team was well prepared for several hundred attendees moving around the property. CONS . Rooms NOT that family friendly. I have a real issue with hotel bathroom designs that aren’t accessible for kids. I had to drag the ottoman into the bathroom area so my youngest could reach the sink. A huge leather ottoman in the bathroom is not ideal. . Substandard housekeeping. I asked for laundry bags from our service provider and was told they weren’t available. She pressured us out of our room one day saying she was trying to finish her shift early and upset my niece to the point of tears. Another morning, we had privacy lock and sign on and they were knocking at 8:30 to come in. It all felt very disconnected. . The Food. The biggest disappointment was that a resort this size, and a Universal Studios property, was such a let-down when it came to food. If you have any food allergy whatsoever, don’t stay here. The RSC makes little to no accommodation for food allergy or intolerance, which is very surprising in this day and age. My husband is celiac and other than FRENCH FRIES and VEGETABLES was extremely restricted in his food options. Only one restaurant was able to offer him gluten free bread for a burger. Food allergies are more and more common, it is unreasonable that RSC was lacking in its accommodations. In comparison to Disney properties where almost anything can be accommodated for food allergies, it was a glaring difference. Food options for children were also limited and unhealthy. After three days of eating cereal, French fries, and cardboard pizza, my kids were desperate for a freaking hot dog. None of the seven restaurants offered such a thing, but I was told they were available at the golf course snack stand. So I walk all the way out there to get three hot dogs and they were…sold out of hot dogs. Our Amazon Fresh delivery was a godsend, and there’s a Publix market at the end of the (very long) resort drive. . Universal partner means what?? My wife and I are regular travellers to Florida. We decided this time to get a hotel close to the airport to avoid an early morning commute as we normally do from Davenport. We looked up places online and reviews. We settled on Wingate and they did not disappoint. We checked in early (to drop off our bags). Staff were helpful. Hotel seemed a little older but clean (all that matters to us). Room was large, ton of amenities, couch, great view. The price was amazing. We are not high maintenance and do not need the extras. Just clean and friendly. This place was perfect. Will definitely return and recommend.

We stayed here before our cruise. We flew in the day before and took the shuttle from the airport. We checked in early and Gabi at the front desk was wonderful. She got us checked in quickly and signed up for the airport shuttle for the next morning. Our room was nice and clean. The beds slept well. We could hear planes taking off and landing, but this is an airport hotel, so we expected that. We were happy to find out that there was a local area shuttle, which was super helpful as we had to make a Walgreens run. Gabi was very helpful in answering all of our crazy questions and had such a great attitude, we enjoyed talking to her. Breakfast was the usual Home2 variety, but rather than having to heat up the sandwiches in the microwave, they were in a heat box, which was a nice change. We enjoyed our brief stay!

I’m sitting here on my last night and feeling sad, I don’t want to leave. I wanted to write a review because there were so many bad reviews that I was getting a little bummed before I came. First off, do not be afraid of the construction going on. My building was literally right across from it and I barely heard anything or saw anything. Second, everyone keeps talking about how the rooms need updating and I agree to a point. I did not feel my room was dank or worn. It was beautiful. It was clean. We loved it. They cleaned everyday too and even at Animal Kingdom in January we didn’t have that. The Lagoon View is great o highly recommend! We ate at Citricos , and are waiter Giovanni was excellent and the food was fabulous. We were a party of 13 with 8 kids and he handles us with ease. The pools are all great, my kids love them especially the slide pool! The hotel lobby and grounds are beautiful. The location is very good. The monorail makes it easy to go to Magic Kingdom and even going to Epcot didn’t take as long as people on line act like it does! We still totally rope dropped! Bottom line it was a great trip. We were a party of 13 and no one is complaining! Yes it is super expensive. Disney is expensive! Other then that we were really happy and are sad to leave! My only recommendation is when there is an issue and there were a few at check in you go back to throwing lightening lanes at people like the fast passes in the old days! It makes you feel like you are getting some kind of compensation when things aren’t perfect. Just fyi all of our issues were resolved. They were nice about it too!

This Best Western was exactly what we needed when we took my son to UCF Orientation. It was affordable, the room was nice, and the staff was friendly. Be sure to join their rewards program. I booked two nights and will get one free to use in the fall.

Pleasant stay, clean hotel, helpful staff. Maybe some extra shower gel would be helpful , 1 soap bar and tiny shampoo was a bit small. I didnt like the wardrobe style toilet door. Not having ventilation or windows in the bathroom + not able to open windows in the room and having a toilet door that doesnt close completely can make things uncomfortable . Elevator was extremely slow. this is more for the visitors of the hotel : there was the tendency people just sitting at the corridors and speak loud. That was a bit annoying / not sure why someone has to be outside of his room at have a video call. Overall though was a pleasant stay. I cannot judge the location as we had a car and we were comfortable to go around where we needed.

The staff at the Sheraton really astounded me in that I was made to feel so at home while here for training. I was one of the lucky ones who found themselves shacked up at the Sheraton during Hurricane Ian. A few stand outs I want to point out: Latifa who always comes up to us for breakfast pours us coffee and juice with an incredibly warm demeanor, she is the server anyone in the restaurant/hospitality industry should strive to be. Carolina and Ana were also servers I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with and they’ve made my meal experiences here so delightful. There is also Helen the Bartender who has such a subtle charisma she’s been able to entice a few of us to spend time at her bar either for meals or a good drink. Finally I’d like to mention Melanie who was at the desk counter when I checked in, she was so willing to work with me to make sure I got checked in early, every time I’ve asked for help or access to something in regards to the hotel she’s made the extra effort and I can tell. There are so many people here I’ve left out and it’s a shame because everyone here did there part to shelter us the guests during the hurricane. I will be forever grateful that my first hurricane felt little more than a rainy day due to the protection they provided me here. Thank you so much Sheraton!!!!

We arrived at the hotel around 9:30pm after a long day of traveling. We specifically picked this hotel because it advertised an on-site restaurant. Sadly, “restaurant” was an overstatement. There was no one at the bar, but a printed menu listing 5 options, all bar food (burgers, chicken tenders, hot wings or pizza). We ordered burgers and were told that they were not selling burgers tonight. So, We ordered chicken strips and tried to order a cocktail. The bar tender had no knowledge of common cocktails and when I asked what he COULD make, he pointed to the bar to show me what liqueurs he had in stock. We asked what sodas he had, and he just pointed to the snack bar across the lobby with bottled beverages. He brought our food out, and the chicken was over cooked and the fries soggy and undercooked. We decided we were too frustrated to sit down in the “restaurant” to eat our meal, so I gave him my card to pay for our meal. He took it over to the front desk to run the card and then spent several minutes fumbling about b/c the receipt did not print. I told him not to bother, that I did not need a receipt.
